Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

Good effort! And poor LLOD! It's 35 degrees here today and my DD has informed me she likes it this hot which is good, she must be my daughter . I know what you mean about not being able to plan to avoid AF it's very inconsiderate! But at least your able to drink on this holiday!

vap lods plan sounds good is there anyway you can do that re the hotel?

If no one else gets BFP this month we seem to be on a one a month cycle so that means everyone should get their BFP in the next few months! Maybe next month a spike and all 3 of you get it?

I've had a brilliant night out tonight! Lots of reasons to celebrate which is great!!!

Shame it's not a "positive" I'm celebrating but in fairness life is good otherwise and so I can't really complain.

So, it turns out that the "friend" I tortured myself with for hours a couple of weeks ago..... You all remember.... The one who finds it all so inconvenient having to change the wedding dress so she can fit her pregnant belly into it! The one I sat listening to how wonderful it was to be pregnant even though it was un planned and inconvenient! So, we received the official invite today and it's for the evening do only?! Including a request for money!

As if seeing you and spending hours listening to how amazing yet inconvenient the whole pregnancy thing is but then to be a 2nd class guest??

Feeling a bit down myself today has had a bit of spotting. Never had it with my other two so feeling nervous but so early on nothing to do about it. And can't see anyone about anything till next week over here anyway!

Never I hope all is ok! Have you managed to book an appointment for next week? What can they do? Would it be too early for a scan to show anything? I really have my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Can't even book an appointment till Monday and even then it's a gp then I may get referred to their version of early pregnancy just no idea. In limbo here for now.

It was a couple of hours of spotting and literally only when I wiped (sorry for tmi) nothing else since, no cramps nothing. Except the normal pregnancy symptoms have just come at me this weekend so I am hoping that's a good sign!

Not started a new thread, I have been so busy partying and enjoying my prosecco this weekend

I am getting a little worried about AF though. I always remember (12 years ago when I used to have them) AF lasting for a good 5-7 days. It seems to be betting shorter and shorter. 2 days long since the beginning of the year, a day and a half last month and this one just gone AF lasted for 1 day only. I know that is probably not something to be complaining about but I am getting a little worried that 1 day is not a good sign.

Any thoughts anyone?

Not long now until our fertile days achm. I'm excited! Maybe this month...

If nothing happens though in month 21 at least I know I have a Dr appointment in month 22 and hopefully they will be able to suggest something although i kind of know he will just send me away again saying "just keep trying". I really want a day 21 blood test to see if I am actually ovulating or not, I know everyone on mn says the tests don't mean you actually ovulate after a + opk but don't know what the odds are that you will/won't?

Never I'm sorry you had spotting - you sound very level headed and stoic but it must be scary nevertheless. I hope it's all stopped and you're feeling ok. Can I ask where in the world you are? And how you got there?

Still no AF here last month was 31 days but today is day 32. Never felt less pregnant on top of total lack of shagging last month so once more it's mother nature playing silly buggers just to piss me off

Achm - love your idea! Defo go out for a fabulous night with DH instead of the crappy wedding Vaps. Weve got a wedding to go to this month, hope I can still cram into my frock after all the holiday excess.

Can you be a pushy cow with the Dr for your blood test? Squeaky gate gets the grease and all that?

If it helps my last one was about a day, and the one before that 2! And it's the one that was only a day that the following month I got my BFP so I wouldn't worry! Could always as the Dr at your next appointment if it comes to no BFP by then!

Sounds like your having a good time lod although I don't know what your AF is doing. Have you poas? And if not maybe its natures way of letting you have a nice holiday

Drs appointment booked for Thursday as its only mild spotting no one seems bothered which at first annoyed me but now I think that's a good sign!

Oh same here about AF, I was down to a very light 3 day AF when I got pregnant. Worry not though, IME it comes back with a vengeance

All these short AF are making me feel better about it. I always thought it was supposed to be around the 5 day mark. I suppose we are lucky then (so long as it doesn't affect conceiving).

I don't think I have ever had a period as long as 5 days. Ever! Always been short and light which I thinn has always been lucky!

Yeah, I had exactly the same concern that it was tapering out and was some sort of indicator of my fertility.
Thankfully not, just lucky!

I may or may not be in possetion of a Turkish pregnancy test. It's a dodgy old fashioned cassette one with a little pipette!! it was only a pound... And a bottle of calpol was 75p! Going to stock up!

Dp asked me tonight about what we are doing a week on Friday as he wants to go and meet a friend for dinner.

Urm, well a week on Friday I'll be ovulating actually and so yes, you go for your night out but before you go out we need to dtd! Haha

Wasn't planning on telling him this cycle dates but he kind of forced my hand.

Let's hope we get all of this sorted this month!

It is a bit of a waiting game especially now with not much happening! I hope in a few weeks this post is filled with BFPs!

Not seen them yet that's thursday. I got the impression that's because normally spotting doesn't mean much but if it does it will happen soon after. So think they want to give it a few days so see what's happening. Also I'll be 6 weeks then and that's the earliest they tend to scan?
Who knows ive had nothing since that few hours of spotting when I wipe (sorry tmi) so I am hoping all is ok but thanks for asking vap

I'm having pains and spotted a bit today. I have had the most stressful day at work today so that probably hasn't helped.

I'm starting to think I should start testing now just in case even though I know nothing will show up until the end of next week?

Or maybe I'll hold off until next Monday if I can so I can try and relax a little and not be waiting for ovulation as much as its bloody crap having negatives, even if it is only an opk!

So hopeful this month is the month for us all!
