Anyone else 4dpo?

Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

Will test again when I get back and pounce on DP!
Still thinking positive test can't be yet, shouldn't be until sat when I ovulate so positive test should be Friday, maybe Thursday at the earliest - if last month is anything to go by... ?

I'm quietly confident I will ovulate this month, bloating, left side abdominal cramps, left side back ache, tiny bit of CM....

Fingers crossed! How many days in your cycle are you? I suppose if its finally happening it could be early, either way pouncing on him sounds like a good plan! You will have to be like rabbits, they say every day or day or two don't they for best chance so I have my fingers crossed!

I'm not 100% sure so I'm thinking around 6dpo but could be slightly out! I have resisted far too early for it to pick it up now I think! Going to try and hold out till next thursday if I can manage it! It does however seem so far away! Good job DH isn't going away before then or I wouldn't be able to control myself! I think I'm getting good at spotting my pre AF signs so I am hoping to try spotting them next week or fingers crossed spotting them not arriving!

Just had loads of ewcm! Can't believe it! It was totally the proper consistency and colour. So exciting! Nearly fell off the loo in amazement
dtd and hoping for a positive opk tomorrow morning.
Been feeling off colour all day with crazy sweats and aches and pains in all the right places.
Fingers crossed for a + opk tomorrow or Thursday
Looking back at symptoms I've had an "off" day like this a couple of times this year, once last month (just before + opk) and once in January, no confirmed Opk.
Starting to understand how my body works!

You've done well holding off testing never. So tomorrow is 7dpo for you which is still quite early to test but didn't charms get a + on 7? Worth waiting longer if you can. If you wait until next Thursday you'll be 15dpo so that will definitely give you a proper answer...

Yeah I think I'll manage it. I hope. It's not too bad as we weren't even going to try this month with feb being bad timing due date for us so if I get a BFP I'll be excited and sure we can figure something out! We move back to the UK before then so got family. And if not at least I can tell myself that March is much simpler for us

Good idea keeping a record, hopefully you won't need it though! Now it seems your ovulating it shouldn't be long till you get your BFP!

Thanks the way I see it its win win! I would love it be this month but I think I'm using the excuse to mentally prepare myself if its not this month then its ok! However if no BFP in May or June I fear by July I will not be impressed! I am far to impatient for this as my DH keeps telling me!

I'm out of my grump and over this month being a wash out. I really assumed I'd be up the duff for our holiday and I think that's why I felt so so awful, but now I will just look forward to cocktails and raki, and POAS by proxy through you guys

Also, not sure if I mentioned about having my appointment letter come through for August.... Well I called today and changed the appointment to mid July in line with the dr's suggestion of going back to see him after 3 cycles.
At least if nothing happens in May, June or July then I have a light at the end of the tunnel...
Not sure what - if anything - can or would be done if I do mange to ovulate for the next 3 months but just nice to know something is booked if no joy.

Your not going on vap you've had a long wait for the depo to finally be out of your system! I think cm varies from person to person so hard to tell but you get the DP pinned down
You've got as good chance as us getting your BFP now your ovulating!

Just need to pin him down again tonight then tomorrow night and I think that's about all we can do!
Resolved not to drink now until af arrives.
Oh also, when I put my + opk into my app it has brought everything else forward

Well today I have stomach cramps and feeling a bit sick. So no idea what's going on! Doesn't feel like a bug though.

So pleased for you Vap! What timing though - to start ovulating just as you were going yo begin treatment. Honestly that depo can be a nightmare and they try and push it on everyone.

I agree with the depo. I was on it at 18 so didn't have problems they tried to put me on it after having my first. I said only way I would go on to it is when I know I don't want anymore kids!!

never when is af due for you? Did you say thurs 28th? If so the cramps may be a good sign of implantation...

The depo jab makes me cross! How much nhs cash is wasted by people like me who it takes 20 months to get back to normal afterwards. You should have to sign a document at every jab saying it has been explained and you understand it can take about 2 years for normal cycles to come back. I was told when I started (at uni with no plans to get pregnant at all 12 years ago) it could take a few months for things to get back to normal but not a year or 2. So far I've had 3 gp appointments, at least 6 blood tests, 2 consultant appointments and a hycosy scan. This must amount to a couple of grand at least. Not to mention the emotional turmoil.

It's terrible Vap. I tried it once at uni and thank goodness it didn't suit me at all.

I started using the nuvaring which is a really low dose hormone contraception that stays in place - it was fab, no side effects, no withdrawal effects, fertility returned straight away. The Dr said the reason they didn't encourage it was it costs about £2 a month while the depo/pill are incredibly cheap.

I completely understand the pressure on the NHS but I'd rather cost wasn't put before our rather fragile reproductive systems thanks.

lod how does that work? Is it like a coil or is it like the implant? If and when I do decide to use something again I'll ask about it. I'll pay myself! No problems with that! I was at a stage of preparing to pay for private treatment for infertility which is certainly not cheap.

Already planning for a possible positive hpt this month.

Yes tell us more about that contraception! My DH is considering the snip after #3 so you never know I may not have to consider anything else think mine would be about the 6th feb or something like that vap! I'm trying not to get my hopes up!

It's just a thin plastic ring that you put in yourself after AF, then remove 21 days later. It's so easy. I was terrible for forgetting my pill and the coil just didn't appeal to me.

This month is very interesting - im mentally taking note of 'symptoms' which obvs aren't pregnancy - nausea and sore boobs so far!!

lod is it easy to get out?
Also, can you skip a period occasionally if going on holiday like you can on the pill? Not that I should be thinking of messing with my system, but just interested.

It's amazing how your body talks to you all month. I can't believe the signs. Although don't suppose i would have had any signs for years with everything stopping on depo.

It's good to write how you feel on months when you aren't ttc or get a bfn. I'll b referring back to last month on my days past ov.

I know what you mean about mentally taking notes! I know exactly how my body was last time just before AF was due! So I think if it is going to arrive then I will most likely know the night before! AF is due thursday not sure if to test first thing then or wait another day only because knowing my look i would test then get a BFN and AF arrive half an hour later, she likes to arrive once I start walking around in a morning! Sorry for too much information again. Darn this only having two tests.

It looks interesting, I honestly have no idea what I will do once I finally get pregnant and have baby, I hate having all the hormones in me. Since ttc I feel so much better my confidence has returned etc and I completely blame the pill, plus with the pill I had such nausea the week as my period was due to arrive!

Vap, no harder to fit or take out than a tampon. I took it out before DTD the first few times but after I forgot once he said he didn't feel anything.

I'm much more emotional off contraception. I have to remind myself that poor DH is not trying to drive me insane and I don't want a divorce every month about 4 days before AF
