Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

My app said af should have started today, I thought Sunday. I thought I was spotting, light pink on tissue yesterday, tiny bit of bright red on a tissue this evening. Don't tend to spot before af. Nothing else yet. Hope soy hasn't messed my cycle up...

They're 20mmg so not brilliant but supposedly 99% accurate on the day of your missed period, so I'm definitely just late!

I bought a little set of cream bodysuits just before my 12 week scan as a bit of an act of faith that everything was going to be fine.

Oh it's all coming flooding back Charms! The best thing ever was washing all the tiny clothes for the first time in the special baby powder and hanging them out to dry, knowing my baby would be wearing them soon .

Buy when you want charms, I didn't believe I was actually pregnant till I had that scan so didn't get anything! Got a few things after that but it wasn't until 20weeks I went and got the rest! I never found out the sex either with mine!

I had a surprise too Nev. I wanted DH to tell me the sex - meaningful moment and all that - but as the surgeon pulled him out he boomed 'oooh he's a BIG BOY!'. DH just looked at me and said 'er, it's a boy'.

Woo. May is going to be a good one, I can see it happening! Although for us we aren't really trying this month as DH due to be away but not stopping it, so maybe june for us! Let time tell I suppose!

Ha ha brilliant. I wanted them to tell me with mine and I was like you just tell me ive just pushed that thing out I don't want to start looking haha! I told the midwife all this second time round to avoid a repeat!

Yep, my app says the same about fertile days etc. except my AF is due Sat 6th when I will be on holiday! So tough decisions to make - do I take tests with me or just see if it turns up?!
I'll only be 9dpo when we fly. I might just take my one precious FRER, I can shove it in a sock hidden away from the bin rummager DH.

It would be quite nice to find out on holiday i think. And also no crappy AF to spoil my fun.

One of these "we weren't even trying" lot. She knows all about our struggles. Fingers crossed she doesn't go on and on about how great it is to be pregnant and all the planning they have been doing for a nursery and all the stuff they have bought for new baby...
I think I'm going to have to make it a swift one.
I'm so cross with myself for being like this, she moved away about 4 years ago and this is the 1st time we have finally been able to coordinate a meeting. And all I want to do is get in and out of there as quick as I can.

vap don't worry about it! You are allowed to feel upset hun, and If she knows about all your struggles she should be supportive and not going on and on about it!

Go with a positive attitude about all you have got next month and she might surprise you.

Just about survived lunch, good job I'm pretty tough. 3 and a half hours hearing about an accidental pregnancy, adjusting wedding dresses to fit the bump and how it's not much fun bring pregnant is about as much as I could take. It's difficult not to talk about, I don't blame her, I'd imagine I'll be intolerable when I finally get caught, I'll be so excited!!
I took soy fay it's dubbed the natural clomid. It's only really recommended if you don't ovulate yourself or if your lp isn't long enough to support implantation.
Are either of those issues for you? If so I'll try to find the thread where a really helpful mumsnetter explained all about how and when to take it.
It certainly helped me ovulate.

P.S. fay if you don't have any issues you shouldn't touch it as it will mess up a normal cycle and can even stop you ovulating if you already do it yourself. I had nothing to lose taking it as nothing was happening by itself.

Hope fay it will be much easier for you! It was my first since coming off the pill and it was loads shorter (2days long) and lots lighter! And no idea on the soy from me, sorry!

Oh more poas lod roll on the February baby boom! Well me and DH have decided we are going to leave off the OPKs for a few months and see if anything happens! as much as I want to be naughty and go get it all I think it's the sensible approach for us.

I don't know why I use OPKs really, I think I just need to feel like I'm doing something proactive IYSWIM? Im not very good at winging it or going with the flow.

February babies are the way forward! Not quite so close to Xmas to mean joint gifts but also in a bit of a rubbish month where you need a bit of light! I really really hope I manage to have a February baby

They come up with all of these "useful tidbits" which are repeated month after month... I suppose most people won't see them as often as I have..

Spring babies are wonderful - the bump keeps you warm all winter and you can get out and about in the sunshine with the pram once they arrive

I think its more DH that doesn't want to use them than me, so I'm compromising and settling for trying for a few months the use them!

Yes I always said spring, one of my DCs is autumn and that summer was awful! Big fat and pregnant plus heat is not nice!
