Anyone else 4dpo?

Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

It's hard when your DH isnt a 'typical' randy male who's always up for it.

You have a head full of dates and dpoa (which makes me anxious in the lead up); then the little window of opertunity is always at its peak on some random crappy Wednesday or something, so you've both been at work and nobody feels very sexy midweek at the best of times; then poor DH feels pressure to perform... its not ideal!

When we conceived DS the weather was so hot we both nearly melted DTD, not sexy weather at all. But it was first month if trying properly and we were just married so it was all sweaty giggles then Smile

I hope all works well with your OHs all perform this month! Sometimes the baby making isn't all that fun is it, this is why I am trying my best to avoid all the ovulation stuff!

But temptation is getting to me especially going back soon!

Hello lovely ladies!

AF didn't arrive yesterday but she was due yesterday/today.

Did another test last night and the line is still quite faint!

Getting some cramping and I'm quite tired and my skin is spotty, I don't normally get spots apart from when I'm due on and that's around my jaw line and chin but seem to have spots everywhere!

Still can't believe it's happened I don't think I'll fully relax until I reach 12 weeks!

At what point are you supposed to go to the doctors? That seems so far in the distance I hadn't even thought about it until now.

4.8lbs to lose before 4.30pm on Monday...

I have no idea when I'm meant to contact the Doctors I'm in the middle of changing mine so o can have the midwife I want (she's a personal friend) xx

I called the doctor the day I found out I was pregnant Grin I got my booking appointment with the MW at 4 weeks and my scan date at 5 weeks but I think that's quite unusual! So long as you're registered well in time for your 12 week scan you can wait a while.

Charms my Aunt delivered DS (she's a midwife obvs) and it was the best thing ever to have that 1 to 1 care all the way through. Not weird or intrusive at all, just reassuring and I knew she 100% had me and my baby's best interests at heart.

Oh also, no AF yet (Ha! You were wrong, silly app!) but could be today or tomorrow. I did pop into an Asda on a whim to see if they had any cheapies but they weren't very sensitive so didn't bother, I'll wait for AF.

BTW I have a FRER, a clear blue and a CB digi in the bathroom cupboard but I'm so weird - I won't use them for random testing and keep them for 'best' Grin it makes no sense.

That's lovely, this lady is a client of mine that I have got to know over the past year, she's a Christian and the NICEST lady I have ever met, I am blessed to have her in my life!

Might be a bit awkward when she has to look down below tho hahaConfused

I can honestly say I didn't care. Im not a bashful person at the best of times but I could remember being annoyed by DH and my aunt trying to protect my modesty when I was stripping off after the water bath. I was all 'just get this wet vest of meeeee!'

There is something amazingly primal about labour.

Maybe if not arrived tomorrow am or fri am bring out the big guns of the Frer?
charms just relax! A line is a line. Think I'd give it a couple of weeks then ring the doctors, some like you to poas at the docs before they refer you to the mw! With my second I didn't see a mw till 11weeks so was mw then dating scan pretty quick.

If I get pregnant over here you normally get a scan at 8 week as well as 12!

I've not tested since, I'm waiting to see if AF shows her face on Friday.

Still no symptoms.Hmm

Great news!
AF has not arrived yet!
This means when I get my clomid at 4.30 on Monday I will be able to take it this cycle (days 5-9).
After hours of reading about clomid I now understand days 5-9 are actually the best days to take it.
Mini victory for me there Grin
DP is already rearing himself up for the important days! He even asked me what the dates are this time. I think he wants to just get it done so we can go back to being a normal couple not checking calendars all the time Smile

charms a lot of early pregnancy and AF symptoms are similar!
fay time will tell but fingers crossed!

vap that's brilliant news I really hope the clomid works for you straight away! And glad DP is all ready to go, a real team effort!!!

Well mine hasn't arrived so I think I can safely say I'm pregnant with my first baby! I feel blessed that we have managed this after only doing the deed twice!

I think I've worked out I am 4+1 and having quite a few symptoms.

Still petrified that something is going to go wrong but trying not to think of it!

How's everyone else? Are you going to kick me off this thread now?! :( xx

Another evap line this morning, should really get better tests.
Started spotting today, af is on her way...
I'm wishing the time away until my appointment on Monday.
Never looked forward to a Monday before Grin
