Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

I showed DP who didn't think he could see a line. "Maybe a very faint line" was what i dragged out of him. Still thinking it's an evap line though.
On the 2nd test with the same pot if fmu no line at all. Does that mean the 1st line is more or less likely to be an evap line?

However, I have just been to look at my test from this morning and that also has a line. So either were pregnant (hurrah!) or those tests are just crap for throwing up evaporating wee lines (boo).

Think this is why I've always loved the Clear Blue digital when it just says pregnant or not pregnant, I always use them after I think I have seen a line!

I'm hoping that they both have lines meaning pregnant rather that evaporating wee lines! Ah the suspense continues.

Speaking of which I am back in the UK at the weekend for a couple of days, recommendations for best tests to buy? & any idea where I can get them Promatis ones other than amazon? (yes I am giving in and joining in on the POAS party in May! I just cant cope and I should also be back just before I ovulate so they could be of use!)

No idea where you can buy them other than on amazon sorry. Mine came very quick. Only a matter of a couple of days I think.

Never if you have a bodycare near you in the UK, they do a box of 3 strips for £1 very similar to amazon ones.

Or I hear poundland do 2 for £1.

Charity shops, poundland, pound stretcher, 99p stores and home bargains are pretty much the hub of my nearest town centre. Oh and one dorothy perkins Confused it's dire.

But at least I'm all set for a never ending supply of cheap pregnancy tests.

never good luck with your hunt for tests. I have bought some in boots and sainsburys too in the past. Can't remember the price but they came in packs of 2

I'm waiting to get into the bathroom to poas. I've been leaving it as long as possible... Will update as soon as I've tested. 11dpo. Not holding my breath.

Did it properly today and timed it for 10 minutes and BFN.

Yes done another 2 tests over the weekend but line is still faint!

NHS website said I'd be due 15th Jan.

Line is a line charms! Good luck for today although you won't need it, I'm sure AF won't arrive.

Vap it's still such early days. Don't lose hope until AF arrives.

No POAS here, but I'm due AF today too - I just want it to hurry up so I can start cycle 5. This month poor DH is going to be exhausted in pursuit of our BFP Wink although we're going away the first two weeks of June so if we aren't lucky at least I can have a few cocktails in the sun. Silver linings and all that...

I Poas yesterday morning with a First Response and it was negative.. So I'm not bothering now
(because I've got the face on..) Hmm

It was only my first cycle ttc so I don't suppose I can moan!!
DP insists I am because I keep feeling sick and tummy ache but I've told him eating pizza in bed is more than likely why..WinkGrin

My AF due Friday.

Still time for AF not to arrive for all of you and get your BFP!
especially you fay I wouldn't lose hope if you've had a faint line! Try your best to wait till friday then do it!
lod if your DH is anything like mine im sure he won't be complaining!

Well, actually Never my DH actually got a bit grumpy saying there are pregnancy tests and 'ovulation things all over the house' (WTF? A couple in the bathroom bin maybe - why is he rummaging in there??) and he feels like that's all I want him for.

Which isn't true. But I think I do need to soften the approach and hide my kit better.

Maybe you need to just do a softer approach so that he thinks it's his idea to dtd? Or maybe make sure doing it other times as well so he doesn't notice the difference?

My DH is of the approach it will happen when it happens and not really ttc so I have to be a bit tactful! (Although he knows me so he knows im obsessed!) I think he loves that I have this going on so I don't have to talk to him about it!

Well at least it's not just me. DP often feels pressured at the right time of the month and has in the past out right refused. I have become more militant about things as the months have gone on which won't help. It's so difficult as I don't want to pressure him but I think he is starting to realise the stress and disappointment it causes every month. DP also is a little on the back foot as is looking for a new job (current one ends end of aug) which also doesn't help and the interviews he has make it difficult to have also. Argh! As if sorting my body out wasn't difficult enough! Ha!
