Well, I thouht I'd better start this thread as I am CD1 of my 6th cycle of trying for our very precious first baby. This is going to be a lucky and positive thread, I can feel it so I'm laying down the babydust now so that as you join me, you can collect your dose .

For those who join me, what are you doing differently this cycle?

OP posts:
ticklemepinkwithtinsel · 04/12/2006 14:10

ticklemepinkwithtinsel · 04/12/2006 14:11

Great for all the hard work DH has got to/ and promised to put in over the next 5 days!!!!

RudolphsREADY · 04/12/2006 14:12

oh yes, that's far better than my suggestion... I want to go out and get some pink tinsel now. Not sure dh would approve!

sideways · 04/12/2006 14:12

Hi all, long time no see.

Sorry for not being around much, but I am trying to relax about things a bit more this month and not obsess too much. Seems to be working as I completely forgot to take grapefruit juice or cough medicine until CD5 and then forgot again, so haven't taken any . Oh well, not like it worked anyway!

The reuslts of the first blood tests were fine, just waiting for the second lot.

Congrats to the bfpers and sorry to all those visited by af. We are not doing too well this month are we, fingers crossed for a bumper end of December!

No doubt I won't be able to stay away, and I'll be reading if not posting too much

Prize of extra babydust to whoever thinks me up a Christmas name

Tinselledtryer · 04/12/2006 14:42

Hello all! I feel like I know you as have been lurking for a while, I'm afraid. Didn't want to become too obsessed so was resisting posting but I think I've lost that battle! This is C8 and I'm testing on Sat - don't know how I feel, really - either very pre-AF or a bit pg. All I can remember is that with DD (now nearly 3) I felt so un premenstrual and calm that I didn't test for ages. So it looks as if it hasn't happened this month either. Am getting so fed up with it all....Had stupidly expected it to be quick as DD happened straight away (and looking back I was a bit smug about it..). Justice! Anyway, I'm concentrating on stress relief from now on as that may well be the problem - we've had a rollercoaster 18months (DD in hospital, moving house, renovations, mother ill...in fact, if I were my body I wouldn't let myself get pregnant). Good luck to everyone!

RudolphsREADY · 04/12/2006 14:48

Tinselledtryer - welcome aboard chick!! Sounds like you have been through the mill!! Good luck testing on Sat (when is AF due?) our fingers and toes will be crossed for you!

geekInSillySantaHat · 04/12/2006 14:53

Just popping in quickly to say thanks for all the encouragements and commiserations. You're all lovely and deserve a fabulous Christmas, BFPs and all

Kittiwake · 04/12/2006 15:22

My gosh it's looking festive in here I need to think of a more festive name any ideas.

Sorry to all you lovely people who got AF this weekend hope you all enjoy some festive BDing and produce a lovely new year BFP.

Hi to Tinselledtryer I will be testing on Sat too if the red menace stays away. I think there might be a few others testing then too.

XmassyCharlotte · 04/12/2006 15:47

Ooh, it's worked

honeyhangupyerstockingsapple · 04/12/2006 16:00

Hi,
MadameBrandyButterfly... sounds much better than brandybutterapple... so i've changed my name again.

Gotta bit of ewcm, only on CD8... DP has disappeared somewhere...

20smum · 04/12/2006 16:06

hello all, just logged on after weekend - sorry to hear about all the nasty af arrivals, mine came too so today i'm cd2 Anyone got anygood suggestions for my festive name change cause i'm struggling!!!???

santasmum · 04/12/2006 16:11

how about this?!!!! - would make me seem rather ancient tho, and might be a struggle on the conception front !

MrsMcClaus · 04/12/2006 16:25

Welcome Tinselledtryer - like the name! All the very best for Sat. I know what you mean about stress, I think my body's the same, each cycle it thinks wow! it's far too hot in here already! Xmas Sad Sorry to hear you've had a worrying time. Let's hope a BFP and a New Year will change all that!

PMSL Santasmum! could be Santasgreatgreatgreatgrandsonsmum!!!

Sideways - how about Sleighways?!

MrsMcClaus · 04/12/2006 16:28

Kittiwake - liked the ref to the red Menace How about:

SparklingKittiwake
Kittiwakeakarobinredbreast
Kittiwakesnowflakes
Santasspecialkittiwake

RudolphsREADY · 04/12/2006 16:28

Loving the names... festive feeling is still with me!! I feared it would do a runner, but it's just getting stronger!!!

Kittiwake.... how about KittiWakeUpEarlyChristmasMorning ???? Bit of a mouthful??

RudolphsREADY · 04/12/2006 16:32

since Sideways is giving out babydust as a prize... I'm gonna fight for it!!

How about SantasFallenDownTheChimneySideways?? or FatSantaSlidesinSideways?

Ok... MrsMc's is better

Kittiwake · 04/12/2006 16:33

Oooh good suggestions it's got to be between kittiwakeupearlychristmasmorning and kittiwakesnowflakes think I will go for the latter if only on the grounds of it being slightly shorter but also I like the way it rhymes.

off to change it now.

pesme · 04/12/2006 16:36
