Well, I thouht I'd better start this thread as I am CD1 of my 6th cycle of trying for our very precious first baby. This is going to be a lucky and positive thread, I can feel it so I'm laying down the babydust now so that as you join me, you can collect your dose .

For those who join me, what are you doing differently this cycle?

The HSG was fine. I was about to get donor insemination so they were just checking basics, like did I have a womb and unblocked tubes. But still nice to know that I do! It was interesting to see my womb bent over to one side (which is apparantly quite normal) with the fallopian tube on the other side waving off into space as they pumped the xray dye through!

donor insemination? i dont get it? when was this? am i being too nosy? tell me to piss off if you like!

Guzzler, come back! I didn't mean to slam you! I went for donor insem when we first tried for kiddiwinks, but it got stopped when the anonymity rules changed so we're now using a known donor.

Hey Honeyapple - sorry that you were feeling grumpy, hope you are feeling better now My DH is not too bad with baths but I have cut down and don't have really hot ones anymore. Thanks for the link, I've read that any of the following can affct sperm and that what we receive today was made about 3 months ago so that's how long it takes for changes to make a difference: hot baths, bicycles, jobs in which exposed to vibrations and heat, tightie whities and alcohol.

Hello Greedy I'm about to be 33 too. Ok, re the tree, let me explain! my sister found a site that do free deliveries all over the UK and I figured that as DH's back is out and I don't fancy carrying a tree on my own (in my condition! ) I'd just get one delivered. I think it'll be around 7 foot. Not a lady of wealth unfortunately, extravegance maybe . Happy to help with your chart, where is it? Hello Minshu hope you like my new thread and it helps you keep up, we don't want to lose you . When will DH let you put the decorations up? what's his issue with it? Impatience, how are you feeling? I have been getting cramps since this afternoon and am getting those feelings brewing in me that this cycle is not going to be my lucky one I have just cleaned the house top to toe for our viewers, guess maybe I feel a bit sad about being reminded that we are selling our house too. My boss finally came back about my propsal and said "we'll work the details out as we go along" at the mo, I really just want to know when I can start with the new company! On the positive side, DH is doing really well today

MrsMc, sorry you feel that af is on its way. It's a horrible sinking feeling. But the killer is that pg cramps can feel like af cramps, so you could still get your bfp! I'm undecided about how I feel. I've been having a hard feeling - not a pain, not an ache, but like something hard is in me - kind of between where my womb and ovary is. Hope its not a bloody ectopic! And breasts are sometimes so big and sore, and veiny (nice!) but next time I squeeze they feel all small! Thing is, I've had every 'sign' under the sun, and it's never been pg, so it's hard to feel that any of this might mean something...

Sorry I haven't posted for a couple of weeks. I wanted to take some time out away from Mumsnet to concentrate on other things other than ttc. I cannot resist any longer so am back!!!

So how are you all doing. Can I have an update - what days you on, how you feeling, etc??? The thread has got soooo long since a few weeks ago that i cannot possibly go through everything.

I am CD26 and using the CBFM for the first time this month. I apparently ovulated on CD24 and CD25 so am now in the two week wait. How awful!!!

After what I think was a chemical preg last month I am so hopeful that this is my month.

Lets hope us girlies all get the best christmas present we could ever dream of - our baby. So babydust and love to all. xxx
