New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

carrot that sounds like a weird dream! I hate dreaming im pregnant and waking up feeling so disappointed!

Had a little scare before when I whiped after going for a wee, there was the tiniest dot of blood on the paper (sorry if tmi) and I thought I was out but I was confused as to why it wasn't the usual brown spotting before AF and why it was happening days early. Anyway after sitting on the loo for a good 20 minutes figuring out what was happening I realised I must have cut myself slightly in 'the grooming process' as the little bit of blood wasn't coming from inside.. What a relief!! I can carry on with my symptom spotting now...

littlebbunny · 01/04/2015 17:34

carrot hi hope you're well. I have strange dreams where something happens to me but turns out it's happening to a close friend or family member. The dreams get more vivid if I have cheese in the evening.

kep Have a lovely holiday.

Thanks for the info on positives after mc. You lovely ladies have been incredibly helpful. The nurse said my bloods won't arrive till after Easter but I'm going to ask my ob to push to get them back before Easter Friday. My ob has been really understanding. The one before her didnt seem interested in helping or maybe she just had a bad day but I wasn't going to hang around to find out!

The bleeding is almost gone. It's been two weeks of spotting and bleeding, I forgotten what it's like to wear underwear without pads!

littlebbunny · 01/04/2015 17:39

If all goes well I should ov on the 8-9th of this month.

MissMrsMummy · 01/04/2015 18:04

Sorry to hear it's been so drawn-out little and hope you ov when predicted. It will be good to get going again Smile

Yokyil · 01/04/2015 18:22

kep I'm trying with all my might to not waste more tests Shock have no idea what's going on at the minute. A perfectly normal 22 day cycle am now on CD26 with no sign of AF or pregnancy!! Confused strange!!

MissMrsMummy · 01/04/2015 19:10

How many dpo yokyil? Could it be that an egg has implanted (which has stopped AF coming) but it's too soon for there to be enough HCG to show up on a test? Which tests are you using?

Yokyil · 01/04/2015 20:18

Arg miss just typed a reply and lost it Easter Envy dunno how many DPO I am possibly 14?? Have a steady 22 day cycle which hasn't changed in 10 years...after mc in January AF arrived on time and have had 2 since both on arrived on time! Feels like my body is just playing a trick on me!! Sad
Mc pregnancy found out on the day AF was due - 3 positive tests just to make sure lol. Have took 2 tests so far one at the weekend when AF would've been due then on Tuesday morning. Been using superdrug own brand - should I try a different brand just in case? Confused

Yokyil · 01/04/2015 20:20

littlebunny hope you get your results before the Easter hols...nothing worse than waiting.

MarysPrayer · 01/04/2015 21:21

Would it be ok to join you?

I suffered my first miscarriage on Sunday and I'm feeling a bit lost. I was only 5 1/2 weeks in but it's still so painful isn't it? 'Luckily' my body seems to be managing things by itself but I wasn't given any advice about what to expect/what is normal and what isn't etc. So after four days of heavy bleeding and clots I went to my gp this evening and he prescribed me tranexamic acid. Ironically the bleeding has calmed down tonight so I am wondering if it might be better to leave things alone? I'm not normally one for taking medication unless it's absolutely necessary. I would be very grateful for any advice. Flowers

In the meantime I'll go back and read the thread Smile

Ooh, stats ## MarysPrayer 37 ttc#2 bfp on cycle 3 but mc @ 5 1/2 weeks. So this cycle is my first since mc, my 4th in total. ##

Yokyil · 01/04/2015 21:27

Welcome marys sorry you find yourself here - but a good spot to nest with a lovely bunch of ladies. Sorry I've no advice to offer in term of the medication Hmm but do know what you mean in terms of what to expect! You just get sent on your merry way. I bled in total for about 10-14 days some days heavier than others then it petered to nothing. Was about 2 weeks after mc before my levels were back to 'normal' again. Did they check what your hcg levels were sitting at?
I was 5.5 too when I mc in January. Heart wrenching at anytime but it does get easier Flowers

MarysPrayer · 01/04/2015 21:44

Thank you yokyil.

My gp sent me to A&E as we don't have a local epu. They did a urine pregnancy test which was negative. They then did a blood test to see whether I had been pregnant in the first place Hmm. I'm still waiting for the results but I know I was. Three different tests by three different brands can't be wrong!? Then I was sent on my merry way. It would have been helpful to sit down with someone, from the relevant dept, not some grumpy A&E doctor who didn't give a damn who would talk to me about what happens and where we go from here.

Yokyil · 01/04/2015 21:53

Just doesn't seem to happen at all - you don't get told what's 'normal' or what's abnormal nothing! That was our first shot at TTC #1 and resulted in the mc - it makes you so wary afterwards. Def has made it less exciting in a way, as you know what can happen. Terrible way to be but that's how I feel Sad the sadness does get less mary and you will start feeling like yourself again soon--just look after yourself, give yourself time and pay yourself some attention Flowers

littlebbunny · 01/04/2015 22:18

Welcome marys I had my mc on Sunday as well and joined mumsnet the same evening. The ladies here have been devine, you are in the right place for support and comfort.

Thanks yokil and miss for your kind words. Flowers

yokil keeping my fingers crossed for you. xx

I feel my body is recovering well. I have a twitch on my left side but nothing more. I finally started cooking again, something I love doing. My poor dh and ds have struggled fending for themselves but they've both been wonderful.

My doctor called and seems it was a mc as suspected and my hcg have dropped very quickly. I'm relieved actually and have been given the okay to TTC on the next cycle. Easter Smile

Happy Easter to you all xx

Yokyil · 01/04/2015 22:46

littlebunny really sorry Flowers - but at least you know...def better than waiting with your own thoughts Sad good attitude to have tho - you know you can try again quite soon, bittersweet.
Thank you - just been reading antibiotics can mess up your cycle - literally finished a weeks dose on Monday...am guessing this is the reasoning behind the missing AF, makes more sense Confused

Happy Easter to you too - give yourself some well needed tlc

mrsdiddlydoo · 02/04/2015 00:11

Just a quick welcome to Mary. Sorry you've found yourself here. Obviously I'm not your gp, but if the bleeding has settled you could wait before taking the tranexamic acid. I've done that before and ended up not using it. I'd recommend taking it really easy this weekend and make sure you have lots of chocolate and things that make you feel better close to hand. I find cake helps me. A lot! Made one this morning and have driven it over 200 miles to the south west so I can eat it over Easter.

Now that's what I call cake dedication Cake nom nom nom

redredwine4 · 02/04/2015 00:12

Huge congratulations on the twins!

Sorry to everybody who has joined in the last few days.

Brickie I think I'm in a similar position to you- second cycle and CD 19 with no positive opk. It's so frustrating. DH is quite relaxed and says it'll happen when it's meant to be. I however am too much of a control freak to take that approach, much as I'd love to.

brickiemum2 · 02/04/2015 07:33

Welcome marys sorry you have to join us though Flowers
If there was going to be any news at this stage that was positive littlebunny then I guess knowing that your body has handled it perfectly and you can resume ttc would be it. Still a shit, painful situation to be in though Flowers
redwine (sounds better than redred?) I think we are in very similar positions including dh attitude Hmm I'm hoping that both of us have had sneaky ovulation with a short lh surge that we just didn't catch on opk. Mind you I'm CD22 now and zero symptoms. One week until test day.

mrsdiddlydoo · 02/04/2015 09:25

How's the bleeding this morning Mary? Still settled I hope.

redredwine4 · 02/04/2015 11:50

I know brickie let's hope that's what has happened! Grrr

CarrotPuff · 02/04/2015 12:11

I do eat a lot of cheese but such dreams are a rarity. Maybe my body is trying to send me a message

Welcome Mary, sorry for your loss Flowers I'm not an expert, but I'd say if bleeding is settling hold off with medication.

brickie and red are you both in wtf cycle? I didn't ovulate in wtf cycle, but then it took 5 weeks for me to get a bfn...

Yokill sorry you're stuck in limbo. When are you planning to test next?

Yokyil · 02/04/2015 13:04

carrot trying to hold off till Saturday or Sunday ...have no idea what's going on Confused but hey!! How are you fixed at the minute?Good luck brickie and redwine be patient says she POAS a few times a week now-- Grin

brickiemum2 · 02/04/2015 14:01

I'm not in the wtf cycle. I had mc on 13th Feb then af 27 days later and now on CD22 of the next cycle. I did ovulate during my wtf cycle but not now apparently Hmm Today at work I had strong cramps and feeling of discharge and was 100% sure that af had arrived early. It hasn't though, so far.
