I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

Any thoughts on lubricants? I have been using conceive plus for about a year. It works well but no bfp. The cycle with my bfp I only used one tube when we DTD the first time then I think I had run out so we did without it for subsequent DTD. Could it have been hampering our efforts before and did we get a bfp from NOT using it?! I have been taking EPO so maybe that it what helped?

Hi to everyone else - MrsD - one more for good luck surely , and madgie well done you!!

AFM opks are still negative, having been massively positive whilst I was getting those last few positive hpts - so not reliable. But I wonder if I did ovulate on day 14 as now all signs are that I'm post-ov. But going to carry on dtd and poas regardless - and maybe test in about a week's time? I had some funny twinges yesterday - like deep down cramps, but may just be stuff gearing up for ovulation. This WTF cycle is going to do my head in!! I have pcos so need to know cause I'm a control freak where I am as I can have mega long cycles, although prior to conceiving (post ovarian drilling) they had settled down.

missmrsmummy we use preseed - but only when we need it, so can't really comment. We did get our BFP a cycle where we didn't use it, but it wasn't the first without, so not sure. Surely it can't hurt?

I don't apply it with the applicators though else I get in a right mess so just use as much as I need.

Thanks carrot going to hold off and if AF hasn't reared it's head by Saturday I'll test again....that'll be one week late at that stage! Keeping Superdrug in business at the minute

Since my mc last Sunday I had a blood test done on Monday and my dr called today to say it was positive and before she could say anything I jumped in and said so I had a mc. She said not necessary so I have to go in for another test today, guess they want to check the hcg and progesterone levels. I'm pretty sure it's a mc, bleeding has been like my normal periods.

I've been feeling very optimistic this month! AF is due in 4/5 days and I've been getting a few little cramps here and there but I'm starting to think it's just AF on its way :(
Fingers crossed thats not the case!
I've been trying my best to avoid symptom spotting or just assume the worst to avoid disappintment now, but I've noticed my urine is a lot warmer than usual (sorry if tmi) but it doesn't hurt its just noticeably hotter.. Not sure if anyone else has had this?? (There going my plan to stop symptom spotting!)

Just popping on to congratulate Guy. Such fabulous news. BIL has 5 year old non-identical twins (dds 3 and 4) and although it was tough initially I know they wouldn't change it for the world. They are utterly adorable.

Good luck on the Easter Egg shopping mission MrsC. I remember my return to work post ectopic being utterly exhausting as well. Have a lovely Easter break.

Warm pee hasn't been a symptom for me before but I have had some strange ones! Too early to symptom spot here but will be before the week's out. That said my tummy does feel tender...

Margie will you wait to see if AF turns up and test if its late? I'll be testing a week on thursday the day AF is due. AF symptoms are similar to early pregnancy!

Well I now have strong cramps and signs that af is about to arrive It's only day 21 and I've always been regular at 28 days. That combined with not thinking that I ovulated this month makes me wonder what is the point in ttc. My body clearly isn't up for it

I don't think so miss I don't have ewcm or increased sex drive. In fact haven't dtd since CD17, dh tried it on this morning and I just wasn't in the mood.
littlebunny I still got a pos preg test for 3 weeks after mc but hopefully beta hcg will show exactly what is going on for you. My blood tests showed mine falling but it took 3 weeks to get to 14.

Ah sorry to hear that brickie is this your first cycle post mc? It could just be a bit of a mess then all go back to normal. I don't know what to expect with mine. Hope you're ok.

littlebunny I had positive tests for two weeks after my miscarriage. I had repeat bloods until the levels had fallen below 25 and then was discharged. That second phone call with the results made me sad, as even though I knew I'd miscarried the confirmation that the levels had halved in two days was still depressing

brickie mother nature sure likes to mess with our heads as well as our bodies. I hope things get back to normal soon for you.

yokyil you have more patience and willpower than I do - although I have no idea why I think poas makes any difference!

I'm off to the middle of nowhere in Wales tomorrow for a bit of an anniversary break with dh - it's our second wedding anniversary on Monday. I will spend it watching him surf!

Still not sure if I've ovulated already or if I'm gearing up to - have very post-ovulation cm, but "fertile" cp and I'm a spotty raging hormonal mess so going to just keep dtd - dh is delighted

kep enjoy your break in Wales - im quite jealous I haven't visited there for a while! Keep trying to drag OH to Llandudno for a romantic cable car ride but his idea of romantic is something more along the lines of Blackpool pleasure beach seeing me crap myself on big rides

last night I had a really vivid dream that I was in a shop near where I live called 'my pregnancy belly' (the shop doesn't actually exist) and I went in with friends to wait for someone and I had to watch mums get their bumps painted and what not.. Ive also had many dreams this week where ive had a baby too its like my mind loves to wind me up!!

madgie could the cramps have been implantation? I'm convinced I implanted on 6dpo last cycle. I had loads of creamy cm and some was pink on that day.

MissMrs I really hope so, AF is due in about 4 days but im pretty certain I ovulated late, I don't use OPKs Ive just been judging it by my cm, and i predict I ovulated around CD17 or CD18 which if correct would make me about 6Dpo now, so that would mean AF would be late too so it would be too early for AF cramps (gosh this ttc lark is confusing).
I've had a fair bit of creamy cm so I really hope it is implantation and ive had no bloating like usual before AF so I'll carry on remaining positive!

bunny so did you have a scan to confirm it was a mc or did you just assume it was because of bleeding? How far along were you?

Speaking of vivid dreams... I had a really vivid dream last night that I was in labour, pushing in a birthing pool. For some reason it was inflatable although there was a normal one next door. The delivery room also looked like a room in my old house where I lived when I was little.

Then I was also walking outside all naked with a huge bump, and I could feel and see the baby move and kick. I also had a very uncomfortable smear test WTF??!!
