New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

Hello, can I join? You seem like a lovely bunch.

I just had an early loss this weekend at 4.5 weeks.

What can I expect in terms of my next cycle? Do I treat the first day of bleeding as CD 1? How likely am I to ov at the usual point in my cycle?

Hope everyone is ok.

MissMrsMummy age 31, ttc #1, cycle 15

mrsdiddlydoo · 30/03/2015 21:20

Hi missmrsmummy Sorry you find yourself here. We refer to the first cycle post mc as the wtf cycle (as in what the f*) as anything goes! It varies between us. My wtf cycles were pretty standard to be honest. Not sure if I ov or not but AF arrived a couple of days early each time. Other ladies find them longer, on off spotting, er... Can't think of any more eg right now... I would imagine after your early loss that it will probably be pretty typical. First AF after a mc can be heavier than normal as your body 'clears out', but again it varies.

MissMrsMummy · 30/03/2015 21:23

Thank you mrsdiddly that's really useful. I am going to start temping and opks so I can keep track of it.

madgiebean · 30/03/2015 21:57

Hi ladies!
Hope you don't mind me joining this thread, I had posted my own about how 'down in the dumps' I'd been feeling and I thought actually joining the thread would be a lot more beneficial than just lurking!
I lost a baby at 8 weeks in November and been ttc#1 ever since. I'm hoping this month will be the one as ive managed to DTD every single day up until cd20 so I have everything crossed, I would love a little christmas baby Smile

Wishing everyone the best of luck!

MissMrsMummy · 30/03/2015 22:19

Good luck to you madgie you're right! the support will definitely help x

mrsdiddlydoo · 30/03/2015 22:34

Big wave madgie! Glad you found us! Everyday to CD 20?!?! Hats off to you and mrmadgie Grin, and I thought we were doing well. Fingers and toes crossed this is our month.

Just told dh he had a choice between tonight or in the morning. He said he doesn't think there's anything left. I think I've broken him... Oops Wink Then I think that's us this month. Doubt I can get anything else from him.

madgiebean · 30/03/2015 22:46

Hahaha it was tough im not going to lie but I was utterly determined to cover all bases this month!

Have you tried switching him on and off again..? Haha
Really hope this is our month would be amazing to have a little christmas baby! If that's the case my have to rename our better halves as Santa

MrsConfusion · 30/03/2015 23:08

Just popping on to say hi to newbies, so sorry for your losses but so happy you've found this crew!

I'm battling on through work, one more day then some days off (lucky me!) but I'm so tired and dopey since ectopic. Suddenly realised tonight I'd completely forgotten it was Easter and I am usually the Easter bunny for my team - all 20 of them - argh!! I'll need to drag DD to shops then into work to deliver treats on weds on our way down to visit grandpa...

Hugs to all
X

brickiemum2 · 31/03/2015 06:35

mrsc aldi have an eggcellent WinkHmm selection of Easter chocolate in at the minute. Lots of bunnies and then extra bits like bags of choc chicks etc. I sent dh got all of my Easter shopping done there yesterday.

Yokyil · 31/03/2015 07:03

AF still not showed up....still bfn on a test this morning again - I am never late, ever!! Doesn't make sense Confused

Yokyil · 31/03/2015 07:06

Welcome to all!!! You've found a great bunch...sorry it's under these circumstances tho Sad

Romeolovesjuliet · 31/03/2015 07:29

Just checking in to say welcome to all the newbies. This thread is a great support.
AF got me on Friday, on time so my cycle was normal at least. Gutted though but after a few days of moping I have picked myself up and getting ready for the next round starting later this week.

ProbablyMe · 31/03/2015 08:16

Hello Missmrs, Madgie and Bunny - pleased to meet you, sad that you're here. Madgie - blimey!! Have you been slipping something in his tea!?

MrsConfusion - bugger, Easter! I haven't been and got anything yet either! Another trip to the shops today then.

Yokyil - do you know when you O'd this month? Could it have been later than usual? Crossing everything for you anyway.

My AF is still here, but of an odd one really. In the past I've always gone pretty much straight to heavy and then tailed off over a few days but this one has taken a while to get going despite constant niggling cramps. I guess my body is still adjusting as my last cycle was the longest I've ever had without a BFP. I've started taking all my supplements again - no idea if they'll do any good but they make me feel like I'm doing something!

Bristolian1 · 31/03/2015 09:58

Hi ladies!
Welcome missmrs madgie and bunny sorry you find yourselves here Flowers
mrsC you sound like you've coped incredibly well. Bonus points for still being bothered about Easter eggs for your team!
I'm 2dpo now, so the 2ww begins again! Gah! Fortunately for you lot I'm off on holiday at the weekend so you'll miss out on a weeks worth of moaning about it from me Grin

MissMrsMummy · 31/03/2015 11:26

Thanks for the warm welcome, it's lovely to meet you all.

Have spoken to the private clinic and we have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment. Argh! I was hoping to be seen ASAP in case I need any supplements or anything for my next cycle. Nervous in case we get another bfp and this happens again. Although if my cycles return to normal after this bleed, I will still be in the 2ww when we go for the appt. So that should be ok.

Has anyone else seen a consultant (private or otherwise) after mc?

I am due to go to the NHS fertility clinic next month - am I right in thinking they won't see me now as we have conceived once?

mrsdiddlydoo · 31/03/2015 12:05

missmrsmummy I don't know about the nhs fertility clinic I'm afraid. After mc2 dh and I had some serious talks about going private. Only because I feel like I'm sitting waiting for a 3rd to happen. A helpless feeling. We can't really afford it and I've still a super chance of a sticky next time. A compromise was going coventry where they are doing nhs funded research into uNK cells. Just makes me feel like I'm doing something. What kind of clinic are you going to? Is it a mc one?

Happy holidays Bristolian!

MissMrsMummy · 31/03/2015 12:13

Thanks diddly it's a fertility clinic?hoping they can help with my short LP which is why we were struggling to conceive and maybe caused the mc.

Sorry to hear that you've had 2 mcs x

Yokyil · 31/03/2015 13:10

probably I don't know when I O'd at all! I'm normally a very short cycle of 22 days, currently on day 25 still no AF - am never late ever! Took 2 tests one on Sunday and one today and both negative Hmm no idea what's going on!!! If I've O'd late then I'm stuffed cus we only DTD in around the time that I thought was my fertile window. Just is way outta the ordinary for me...my body is trying to trick me Confused

CarrotPuff · 31/03/2015 13:35

Welcome MissMrsMummy, sorry for your loss Flowers I would imagine your cycle would be about the same length as usual.

Welcome madgie, that is a very inspiring TTC effort, I'm taking my hat off!

MrsD I'm sure he can squeeze a bit more out Wink

MrsC good you're having a few days off, I hope work is not too much for you at the moment Flowers

Yokyil as hard as it is, wait a few days to POAS again. And you never know, your OH might have super resilient sperm Wink

Bristolian I hope you have nice hols, where are you off to? I hope you'll be so busy the 2ww will fly for you!

CarrotPuff · 31/03/2015 13:36

Guy I hope your scan went well yesterday. Thinking of you Flowers

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 31/03/2015 14:12

Thanks Carrot, it all looked healthy at just under 7 weeks, I am just rather shocked to discover that there are two babies in there. In full panic mode at the moment.

Romeolovesjuliet · 31/03/2015 14:22

Wow guy, what a shock - big congratulations though. A good friend of mine has just had twins and already has 2 other DCs. They didn't find out until 12 weeks and I know it took a long time to sink in.

MissMrsMummy · 31/03/2015 14:26

Lovely news that your scan was all healthy and what a surprise to see two babies in there! Hope you can adjust to the idea soon Smile

MissMrsMummy · 31/03/2015 14:26

^ That was for guy

MissMrsMummy · 31/03/2015 14:27

Thanks for the welcome carrot hope my cycle is normal. Started temping and opk already so I don't miss ov.
