New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

Been a bit of a sad morning...just after I posted my pic my 14 year old cat had a massive stroke and died Sad whilst dh was walking the dogs. Didn't feel it was the right time to give him the news Sad

Tootle10 · 05/05/2015 08:05

Brilliant tootle - so happy for you!!

Sorry about your cat brickie - so unfair when you should be so happy.

Hopefully just a late implanted iBMP?

Have good days everyone - I'm stupidly trying not to cry walking to work - I've been ok the last few days but it's bringing it all back Sad

redredwine4 · 05/05/2015 08:41

Huge congratulations brickie and tootle- what a morning!

Mamama31 · 05/05/2015 09:50

Huge congrats brickie and tootle, was this the 1st cycle after mc for you both?? Also so sorry about your cat Brickie, that's terrible :( I hope you are ok.

MimiDoddrioni · 05/05/2015 10:28

Congrats brickie and tootle!

And sorry about your cat brickie, my similar aged cat had a heart attack and died suddenly about 2 years ago, still miss the little fuss-whore now.

I'm DPO8 according to OPK and BBT. I'm either having a lot of implantation bleeding or AF is about to turn up a week early Confused

DisneyMillie · 05/05/2015 11:47

Fingers crossed for the former Mimi!

kep1979 · 05/05/2015 12:17

Wow brickie and tootle - congratulations!!! What lovely news Smile Sorry about your cat brickie Flowers

I'm 7/8dpo today - on Sunday had some very painful twinging/pinching pains low down on the right. I'm obviously hoping that it was implantation. I've also had a bit of a dodgy tum, and am extremely gassy. Just got to wait and see - AF due in about a week but I'm already poas Grin not that I'm obsessed or anything

Nousername2015 · 05/05/2015 12:38

kep right there with you! 6/7 days dpo for me (I think), low abdomen pains and lots of gas. Trying and failing to not read into it.

Ladies with the bfp, congratulations! You've given us all hope Smile fingers crossed it's a tediously boring 9 months for you both.

MimiDoddrioni · 05/05/2015 12:48

Thanks Disney, I'm hoping too. Hope your first day back is going ok. I think I spent the first few days back after my first MC crying in the loos or avoiding talking to people, luckily I don't have a customer facing job or my boss might not have been too impressed. It'll be rubbish but it will get better.

ibeka · 05/05/2015 13:15

Hi all, lots to catch up on!

Brickie, tootle, congratulations to you!

Probably, so sorry to hear about your loss Flowers

redwine what a crap time you're having... I'm so sorry for you.

mamama and disney, I didn't get my bfn until three weeks and three days after ERPC. I think if you have very high levels it can just take longer.

pug hi here, glad you came and joined in Smile

Good luck to those of you goin back to work. I found the first few days horrific and found telling a couple of colleagues really helped as they could step in when I was having a wobble. I teach so very demanding and hard to hide so having a couple of sources of support was invaluable.

CD 11 here.... Anyone similar? I'm so desperate to get a bfp but trying to remain realistic. I'm feeling a lot better in myself recently. More energetic and just a bit happier. I'm hoping this is because I'm taking thyroxine and not on the placebo!

redredwine4 · 05/05/2015 15:04

ibeka CD15 here. Prior to MC I O'd around CD17 so we might be at similar places in our cycles. TBH I am terrified that this week will pass without O again, as I don't think I have O'd yet following MC in Feb. It's now my third cycle.... I was like clockwork before... When do you expect to O? Glad you are feeling a bit better.

ibeka · 05/05/2015 16:14

Last one was cd16. I never charted before that so no idea if that was normal. I didn't OV in the wtf cycle so really hope I do this one. FX we both do in the next few days....

MarysPrayer · 05/05/2015 16:57

Yay for brickie and tootle, great news.

I'm on cd9 and usually ov around cd13/14 so not far from red and ibeka. Just finished my 8 day Af so not long until we get going again!

Mamama31 · 05/05/2015 17:39

Marys I'm glad af is over for you and you can focus now on your new cycle.

I'm 2 wks from d&c today. No idea what's happening...just shagging away regardless....haha!

Nordicmom · 05/05/2015 18:09

Hi !
Can I join ? I need to read back sorry .
We have one ds 10 y and a dd 3 y ( had her through gestational surrogacy after years of misery ). Had several mc before my daughter and have now been trying again for about 10 cycles last year and had 4-5 cp and then needed a break for about 6 m . Now back to trying again and on the miserable 2ww. Am on 6 dpo and have had a bit of spotting from 4 dpo evening which has never happened to me in almost 30 y of periods except last summer on 7 dpo before having a few faint positives and ending up with a cp . Am having some lower back pain and cramps on and off , feel somewhat sick and boobs hurt . I've been here one too many times I have to say ...couldn't resist and did a frer too early so a bfn of course but on opk I'm getting pretty good lines but I know about lh in a body at other times of the cycle so unless they turn really strong positive I'm not holding much hope.
Congratulation on the recent bfps and sorry about your cat brickie !

ThePug · 05/05/2015 19:36

Congratulations brickie ^ tootle So hope everything will go smoothly for you both. Sad news about your cat though brickie - what an emotional rollercoaster of a morning for you.

ibeka yes big thanks for pointing me over here. Haven't yet joined in much as waiting to be back in the actual TTC stage but I will in due course.

And on that note, what is everyone's feelings on ttc the cycle straight after mc (and specifically erpc/surgical management)? It has probably been covered before but I haven't had chance to read the whole thread.

I was fairly sure I'd wait this cycle out and start trying next cycle but DH has asked why don't we try this month and the nearer I get (hopefully) to ovulation time the more I'm thinking about it. I understand the main reason most Drs give for waiting is for dating purposes, but I read something last night about someone being advised against trying straight after surgery in case the cervix was temporarily weakened, which could lead to another mc.

I am only 8 DPsurgery and won't do a pregnancy test til next weekend to check for BFN. In my last (bfp) cycle I ov'ed on CD18, and I have started monitoring temp, CM & CP again as well as using my saliva ovulation microscope. I might use OPKs nearer the time as well if other indications are there.

I'm worried that I'm going to end up working away from home lots in June and July and will be seriously stroppy if I end up missing ov time because of it!

Romeolovesjuliet · 05/05/2015 22:03

Welcome Nordic
Pug, see how you feel but if you feel ready this cycle I would go for it. I conceived my DD straight after the ERPC and all was fine. I was very, very anxious though although I can't say that would have been any different had I waited a cycle or 2. I spoke to the miscarriage association at length as I was so anxious and they said there is no reason other than dating to wait (and no increased risk if you don't wait).

ibeka · 05/05/2015 22:04

pug I fully intended to try straight away. I started using OPKs and looking for CM etc. but was advised on here I couldn't OV until after the BFN. AF arrived very unexpectedly eight days after the BFN so I don't think I OV'ed at all but if I had I would have gone for it....

mary's I've had a very long AF this time - still a bit of spotting today post cervical smear, yuk - but I think it must just be because it was heavier overall....
