New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

Pug I've never charted before but I counted the day of my ERPC as day 1 and so far it seems to be going right !

Probably so so sorry for you - I can't believe how much heartache we're all going through !

Mama I would do your test to see if you get BFN yet. I got mine 6 days after ERPC. Just make sure you're in the right mind set to deal with whatever the result is ?

Keo could you explain to me when your temp is supposed to go up and dip etc - I'm a bit lost. And when should you start to dtd in relation to ovulation day ? Thanks

Adventuregame · 28/04/2015 12:55

That should be Kep not Keo !!

Mamama31 · 28/04/2015 13:03

Thanks ladies I think I will do a test tomorrow that would be a week from d&c. Just be good to check and see what's going on. I know it's going to be heartbreaking again but I will feel better knowing what's going on I think. And I just want to be back to normal so I can start opks (yes opks, those things I said I was not doing but got a bargain so might as well use them).

Probably, so sorry to hear this. Life is so so unfair and this is the last thing you need. I hope someone can be there to support you until your DH returns. We will also be here to listen if you need us x

ProbablyMe · 28/04/2015 13:13

Thank you ladies. DP won't be home until Friday evening and he's in a job where I can't contact him during the day and he won't be available until after 7pm - it's not the same talking on the phone anyway. I don't have anyone else to talk to - I only have mum and sister apart from DP and they weren't aware we were expecting and they're off on holiday this weekend so I don't want to wreck their moods. My ExH saw off any other friends I had a few years ago and I moved to a new area shortly before my late miscarriage in January and haven't made any friends yet.

ThePug · 28/04/2015 13:38

Thanks for the welcomes. Yes Marys , I was on the Feb & March buses and then with the Bumsnetters.

Adventure I only charted for the first time in March when I got my BFP but the basics are:
Temp will rise the day of ovulation - by the time you see this, it is probably too late to get any swimmers up there so you need to know it is coming by some other means (opks, monitoring CM/cervix position). A high temp followed by another two that are higher than the previous six is a pretty good indication that you have ovulated. You are then looking for it to stay high, as if AF is a-coming it will fall that day or the day before (probably). You may have a slight temp dip the day before ovulation (I did), and a dip sometime around implantation if you have been lucky.

Here's a picture of my chart from last month with a couple of caveats: 1) the first few temps are probably not right as it took me a few days to realise the thermometer didn't have a memory function! 2) The big dips 4&5 DPO are erroneous as I was away from home and doing it at a different time to normal

Charting and following SMEP seemed to work for us, so I'll be doing this again

Adventuregame · 28/04/2015 14:03

Thanks pug - blimey I'll have to get my head round all that !! Or just dtd every day - problem solved !!

Mamama31 · 28/04/2015 15:24

Probably I'm so sorry you are going through this alone. I was on a very helpful thread in the early days of my mmc called Headwreck & Hope. Support for those going through mc/mmc. It really helped me to vent my feelings on there each day and got me through some dark days. Of course you can also do that here and we will listen and support you however we can. Please try and surround yourself with anything that could comfort you as this is such a distressing time. And do speak to your dp as soon as you can to get some comfort and support. Big hugs I'm so sorry you are going through this, it just so unfair.

CarrotPuff · 28/04/2015 18:03

I'm so sorry Probably, this is so unfair. Go easy on yourself Flowers

Welcome Pug! Sorry you find yourself here, I hope you find some good support xx

Marys sorry about the witch, you're right, CD1 is always the hardest. Lots of Cake and Wine for you!

Brickie, maybe twins? Grin

My healthy eating going out the window at the moment. I'm eating everything in sight, not sure what's that about Confused

Mamama31 · 28/04/2015 18:17

We planted our little rose tree... its perfect :) I have been a bit up and down today, but I'm feeling some closure. My feeling down at times is mainly due to despair that we won't get pg again for a very long time! I need to relax and live my life again, it's just so hard not to focus on ttc all of the time. It's all consuming.

MarysPrayer · 28/04/2015 21:30

Probably how are you this evening?

ProbablyMe · 28/04/2015 21:42

Sad, Marysprayer, very sad. I need my DP here as finding the words over the phone hurts. I don't really want to talk - I want a cuddle. The waiting to bleed is torture. Hope it happens fast.

brickiemum2 · 28/04/2015 22:17

Thinking of you probably

Fizzie100 · 29/04/2015 08:05

Mamama your rose tree sounds truly perfect. How gorgeous. We planted a couple of little plants earlier in the year to 'remember' and it is lovely seeing them in the flower bed. It allowed us to mark something that meant so much. Hope it brought some comfort to you and that you are ok. Probably, thinking of you lots too and Pug - welcome, this board is so lovely and supportive and kind. I had some cramps in the night which I think may have been trapped wind actually. Very sore but not periody if that makes sense and disappeared when I went to the loo when I woke up. Hopefully not a bad sign. Today I am 7 weeks and clinging on day by day hoping everything will work out. I actually feel sick today for the first time so maybe this is a good sign. Have a good day ladies thinking of everyone having tough times xx

littlebbunny · 29/04/2015 09:12

Probably I'm so sorry. I really don't know what to say.
After my mc, I'm struggling to stay positive with this pregnancy.

MarysPrayer · 29/04/2015 09:13

I hope you're OK probably.

Fizzie sickness is great news (sounds odd saying that doesn't it?!) When I had dd the sickness started at seven weeks and it was a totally uneventful pregnancy.

kep1979 · 29/04/2015 10:28

probably so so sorry for you, no words really, jusy wnt you to know that I am thinking of you Flowers

fizzie yay for feeling sick Smile

adventure on your chart the rise signals you have ovualted (a sustained rise of three days will give you crosshairs on FF). Some people don't get an ovulation dip - I did this cycle, and temp was down for a couple of days - FF counts the day before the first day of rise (whether a dip or level with your pre-ov temps) as O day - so according to my chart I ovulated yesterday. As for timing, I also do opks and chart my cm and cp, so I dtd every other day throughout cycle until I get first positive opk then do for three days on the trot miss a day and then dtd again. This is the SMEP (sperm meets egg plan). Having said that this cycle I also tried to make sure I had at least 36 hours between my dtd when I had my first positive opk - to try and maximise sperm quantity/quality - so i got my +opk in the am, dtd then, and then waiting until the following night. We then had to do it 24 hours later as 36 would have ruined my 3 days ont he trot plan wow i am obsessed

Whether it works or not I will know in a couple of weeks Smile

Adventuregame · 29/04/2015 10:43

Kep haha brilliant ! I feel like I need to print that off and read it 5 times before I understand it !! You are now officially my fertility guru !! Fingers crossed you get a bfp !!

Nousername2015 · 29/04/2015 12:45

To the more experienced ladies, are opks worth it? I know absolutely nothing about them, do they measure hormone readings to get a positive? I think I need to research next month.

Day 14 for me today, had ewcm Monday and yesterday and also at lot of ov pain yesterday which is new for me. No ewcm today so I guess it's the tww now. Anyone else starting the tww?

Probably, I don't think I can say anything to make you feel better but we are all thinking of you. Hope you are feeling a bit better today.

Mamama31 · 29/04/2015 12:52

Did a test to see if hcg has gone....still very positive :( not doing another one for over a week! no wonder I still feel a mess....hormones!!!!

Adventuregame · 29/04/2015 12:56

Mama even with my bfn the consultant said I should expect sad/moody moments for 2-3 months !! This we have to ride the storm on that one !

Nouser I did my first opks this month and got positive on Monday. Like you I had ewcm and ov pain and nothing today so I think you're right about the 2ww. We're not ttc this cycle but it's good to know where I'm at !!

littlebbunny · 29/04/2015 13:04

Nousername2015 I'm not experienced with opk, I only used them twice and got pregnant on my 2nd go so for me it's worth it. Here's a little bit of info on opk's: www.ovulation-calculator.com/ovulation-tests/ovulation-tests.htm

Nousername2015 · 29/04/2015 13:22

Thanks for the tip adventure - 'relaxed' approach swiftly going down the pan...

Nousername2015 · 29/04/2015 13:23

And thank you also Littleb

CarrotPuff · 29/04/2015 13:31

Oh Probably I would give you a cuddle if I could! Not the same as your OH obviously... Thinking of you Flowers

Fizzie in the nicest possible way - I'm glad you're feeling sick Grin I wish you remain that way - just enough to reassure you, but not enough to have you puking all day.

Sorry about the test result Mamama - it takes a while for some to drop. I would test in another week, and maybe give them a call if it's still a bfp.

Nouser if you can spot ovulation from CM and have pains, I would say you don't need opks. Especially if you have fairly regular cycles. But that's just me.

Just booked flights to go home in July. I have probably just invoked Sod's law and will get my bfp while I'm there (because I wouldn't want to tell anyone until a scan) Confused

DisneyMillie · 29/04/2015 13:42

Hi - can I join in? I've just had medical management on Saturday after a MMC at 10 weeks - well should have been 10 - saw a heartbeat at a 8 week scan but measuring 6 weeks which I couldn't reconcile and they think it unfortunately didn't make it more than a day past that Sad

I've got a scan on Friday to see if it's all complete - feeling well in my self now except very tired and bleedings slowed right down so hopefully over the worst.

Was heartbreaking but the thought of trying again keeps me going - we fell first month last time but I'm 35 so not sure it'll be that easy again.

Anyone started ttc before first AF? I can't handle the thought of waiting!
