New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

Yes a work pregnancy announcement here too...and various celebs today too all over Twitter. So hard isn't it. I'm resisting temptation to test. Even though I have two tests upstairs....

kep1979 · 14/04/2015 09:36

Loads of birth announcements here too, all over FB and at work. Feeling very grumpy about it all today and feeling like a bitch

It's cd4 for me today - did a hpt and opk yesterday as all bleeding totally stopped from AF, after being mega heavy for 36 hours - weird. Hpt neg (obvs) but opk showing a clear line, darker than usual for this time in cycle. Did another opk this morning with FMU and mega dark, nearly positive..... very odd. I am presuming my hormones are just having a bit of a tizz - will dtd later just in case, and keep testing, but very strange. Last couple of cycle I've ovulated on cd14, which is early for me (I have pcos), but gearing up now is surely far too early!?

Lowest I've felt since mc.. Have already had a few glasses of red tonight (Aussie time). Last week with family before heading back to Europe.

Adventuregame · 14/04/2015 11:47

brickiemum2 · 14/04/2015 13:02

Big hugs littlebunny and some more Wine

mrsdiddlydoo · 14/04/2015 13:11

littlebunny I sometimes find I have to hit rock bottom to be able to start getting back up again. I'm not suggesting that's the case for you, but things will get better and you will start to feel more human with time. It's true but time is the greatest healer. Must suck heading towards the end of your hols with your family. Have plenty of Wine and Cake and remember you ain't alone my lovely.

Fizzie100 · 14/04/2015 13:26

Is anyone managing to get out in the sun today? I am going to steal ten minutes from my desk and take lunch outside. Still wanting to test...maybe I'll just do it tomorrow. Today I'm feeling like will I ever get to be a mum. The MC really took the wind out of my sails. Hmm

redredwine4 · 14/04/2015 16:27

Hugs to bunny and fizzy. This is not easy at all, but plenty of women have been here before and have come out the other side. I know it's not of comfort to everyone, but when I remind myself just how common mc is it makes me think that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. So many of my friends have had mcs. No one I know who has had an mc does not now have a wee bundle xx

kep1979 · 14/04/2015 17:23

redwine that's a great way to look at it - I was feeling like it'll never happen again today, I think because it took 29 and over 3 years to get the first BFP I cannot face waiting that long again Sad Plus now I'm 36. And have pcos. And dh has crap morphology. Pity party over here!

But this afternoon I'm feeling more hopeful, and you are right, everyone I know who has had one or more miscarriages/stillbirths have beautiful rainbow babies now.

My friend send me some rainbow sweets after my mc with a card saying that after the rain there is always a rainbow. Very apt.

Wine and Cake and Flowers all round

ibeka · 14/04/2015 17:31

Thanks redwine, that is a much more positive way to look at it. I don't really know anyone who has MCed apart from my mum back in the 70s.... All my friends seem to have just had healthy pregnancies. Feeling extra low since starting back at work yesterday. Also still getting positive hpts 3 3 1/2 weeks post surgery. If anything it's stronger today than yesterday Confused

Lots of Wine and Flowers all round - you all have my sympathy/empathy.

Has anyone else taken part in the TABLET study? I have been asked to go and meet with some researchers about it following a blood sample I gave them. It is a study looking at effects of thyroid antibodies on MC so the fact I've been asked to go in suggests I have tested positive for them. Anyone have any experience of this?

redredwine4 · 14/04/2015 17:32

How lovely of your friend kep. Glad you are feeling a bit brighter. One of my friends who is due in August took 2 years to conceive her DS. She conceived her second on the first month of trying. Mc at 14 weeks thenpregnant 6 weeks later. So a long period to conceive one does not mean that it'll be like that again x

Fizzie100 · 14/04/2015 17:34

Yes thank you redwine. Hope we get our bundles soon x

redredwine4 · 14/04/2015 18:32

ibeka the waiting is the worst of all of this, but your hcg will have to come down eventually. You'll get there.

I haven't heard of that study.

Lilliana · 14/04/2015 18:49

I was tttc for 2 years when we had my DD. This time we weren't really trying, js and we got pg about 4 months after coming off the pill. I'm hoping for another quick one. Also I'm told you're more fertile for a few months after mc. Has a town else heard this?

Lilliana · 14/04/2015 18:50

Hate iPhones ! A town = anyone

Fizzie100 · 15/04/2015 08:15

Hey ladies I couldn't hold out any longer, cD 35 for me and just wanted to know. So tested this morning andBFP! So thrilled but do feel rather anxious after the MC. Hoping for more luck this time. Sending love to all x

Adventuregame · 15/04/2015 09:12

Congratulations Fizzie

kep1979 · 15/04/2015 09:43

Congratulations fizzie - wishing you a dull and boring none months Grin

Thanks guys for the reassurance, I am hoping I am super fertile now. Plus we were originally going to go for IVF/ICSI during the summer, but with the BFP we decided that we'd try naturally a bit longer. So we will see where we are in September... really we want to be pg by the original due date so may do it in October.

My oldest friend texted me last night to say hi, and to announce that baby number three is on the way. I am so so pleased for her, but at the same time absolutely gutted - she is 16 weeks, I would have been 11 weeks, and it would have been so amazing to be pregnant at the same time. Plus going to be hard when I see her after baby is here as it will be about when I was due. Dh also took it hard too. One minute I'm up, the next I'm down.

On the bright side, my opks are getting darker, so think I will ovulate earlier this cycle than usual - bring it on Grin

Romeolovesjuliet · 15/04/2015 11:46

Congrats to fizzie and bristolian.
I'm about half way through the 2ww - doing ok until I go to sleep. So far I have dreamt I had a newborn baby girl that I had forgotten to feed and last night I dreamt of positive pregnancy tests! Need to try harder at staying sane. Hmm

littlebbunny · 15/04/2015 12:12

Yay! Fizzie So happy for you. Hope it's a sticky. Love seeing ladies here get their bfp! And thank you all for your support. xx

mrsdiddlydoo · 15/04/2015 13:16

Woop woop fizzie Grin

redredwine4 · 15/04/2015 13:29
