New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

I don't understand these opk tests. I Might have to get another brand. Just tested this morning and got a positive straight away, the other two days took a little while longer for the second line to show, regardless, I've been doing the bd every other day. Still low temps, don't understand that either and still seeing ewmc. Hmm

Bristolian1 · 13/04/2015 05:59

Wow it's been a busy week on the thread!
Welcome to the new ladies, sorry you find yourself here Flowers

Congratulations Bristolian that's great news. Fx everything goes well for you.

Sorry littleb I never really got ov tests either but if your dtd eod you should be ok.

Hi becca our DD is the same age as your youngest too. Sorry you're here it sounds like you have had a rough time. Flowers

Reading about your first AFs has made me think maybe I should wait until after at least one just to check. DH is also struggling a bit not sure if he is ready to go through this again so will see how we go. Def lo charting or sticks here just dtd when we feel like it and see what happens!

Lilliana · 13/04/2015 06:36

Sorry that's NO charting etc

brickiemum2 · 13/04/2015 06:50

Congrats bristolian

littlebbunny · 13/04/2015 07:27

Congratulations bristolian

brickiemum2 · 13/04/2015 07:49

I'm only CD5 but if we are able to try again this month I need to use opk as dtd is going to be difficult due to staying with family etc. I've fallen out with ic but since I plan on using them at least twice a day (either I missed the surge last month or didn't ov) I need something not horribly expensive. Any recommendations?

redredwine4 · 13/04/2015 08:28

Congratulations bristolian!!!!! Very happy for you xx

CarrotPuff · 13/04/2015 08:43

Congrats Bristolian, wonderful news! I wish you a very boring pregnancy!

Stomach bug here. I just want to go to bed and not move. I don't think DS would be ok with that though Confused

littlebbunny · 13/04/2015 08:46

Sorry carrit Flowers Hope you get well soon and get that much needed sleep. xx

TeenieDeenie · 13/04/2015 09:32

Hi everyone... Returning after a little break away from MN. The long cycles, crazy symptoms and infection after my mc were just getting little bit too much for me so I agreed with my OH to take a wee break from it all. We have only DTD a few times over the past few weeks but haven't used protection so guess there is still a chance this cycle, although I'm not getting my hopes up. AF is imminent according to my Ovia app so we'll see what happens over the course of this week. I finally feel back to normal (it only took 4 months!!!!!) so let the ttc commence once AF has been and gone! Smile

Massive congrats to the BFPs... always lovely to see on this thread! Grin

Hello to the new ladies that have joined the thread, so sorry you find yourself here Flowers

Adventuregame · 13/04/2015 09:45

Can anyone tell me what you count as day one of your cycle after an ERPC ? I had the ERPC on the 2nd, had minimal bleeding from the 5th-10th but had a BFN on the 8th.

I'm not too sure it will make a difference to start counting as my cycle is usually between 40 and 45 days so I'm going to have to hope that this hasn't messed it up too much ?

kep1979 · 13/04/2015 09:48

Congratulations bristolian, fantastic news - wishing you a very dull and boring 9 months!

carrot - get well soon Flowers

brickie I use the one step ic opks from Amazon - I get on OK with them, plus they are cheap just reminded me that I need to order another bulk load

Welcome to the new ladies, sorry you find yourselves here, but it a lovely supportive group.... and seemingly lucky on the BFP front this last few weeks Grin

Adventuregame · 13/04/2015 10:11

Congrats Bristolian

redredwine4 · 13/04/2015 12:29

adventure I spent a lot of time following my mc wondering what cd1 was. I ultimately came to the conclusion that anything could happen and just you use opks everyday following my bfn. I got my first period just over 4 weeks from mc and around 12 days after my bfn. I am pretty sure I didn't ovulate that month.

I am now waiting for my second post-mc period. I am again not sure if I ovulated as again no positive opk.

I came to resign myself that anything goes, particularly during the wtf cycle. Not great I know, but might mean that there is little point stressing too much about what cd1 is. Just my opinion though and my experience. Really hope your cycles get back on track soon xx

Adventuregame · 13/04/2015 12:58

Thanks redred

I've never used opk before as we weren't properly trying before but it might be something we look into or I might do it just for my own info.

We're hoping to just 'see what happens' again but I'm 38 in July so guess I can't 'wait and see' for too long !!

kep1979 · 13/04/2015 13:00

adventure I had a natural mc, so counted cd1 as the first day of proper bleeding and loss. I think I ovulated on cd14, as on prior days I had neg opks and then on cd14 is was massively positive - this was a week after the bleeding had stopped, didn't get negative hpt until cd16. AF arrived on cd28, so 14dpo, and 12 days after my bfn. It does seem that everyone is different, and that anything goes on the WTF cycle. Hope your cycles sort themselves out x

Adventuregame · 13/04/2015 13:02

What opks do everyone use ?

mrsdiddlydoo · 13/04/2015 13:22

Bristolian congratulations!! Grin awesome news.

adventure I've been using internet cheapies... From Amazon... One step ones (I think... They have white and green packets). I used the fancy cb dual hormone ones for a bit and they helped me get my bfp after a mc last yr, but since my last one I don't seem to get peak results (solid smiley) anymore. Same on the ic, I get strongish result but not quite a positive.

red its not unusual to maybe not ov in the first cycle post mc but I'm sure you probably are. I was really convinced I wasn't but opks aren't always right. Listen to your body as well. As my gp said, you must be ov, you have recently been pregnant. Try not to stress about it.

carrot bugs suck. Hope you are surviving and it passes soon.

teeny welcome back! I think it always takes longer than you realise to get over a mc. Glad you are feeling stronger and ready to go again!

Adventuregame · 13/04/2015 15:51

Thanks mrsdiddly I've just ordered some One step ones from Amazon and will give them a go.

Fizzie100 · 13/04/2015 16:02

Hey everyone, just wanted to join again as I keep losing the thread, really need to learn how to save this thread on my phone! My 1st Pregnancy ended in MC in February and after very heavy and painful AF in March we decided to try again a few weeks ago. Has anyone else felt pregnancy symptoms after MC but worried its in your head? I have convinced myself I have sore boobs and I am sneezing a lot like I did back in January when pg. Last months AF started on the 11th and I used to be regular before the MC but now who knows. Don't know when too early to test again, or whether to just stop trying to be hopeful. So hard isn't it post MC? Sending love to all and hoping for our BFPS!

Fizzie100 · 13/04/2015 16:40

Could I ask if you think testing tonight would be too early? It's 32 days since first CD1.... am I setting myself up for a big disappointment? I have only had one AF since MC so don't know my cycle days. Argh.... Carrot and Brickie - I remember you both, we were on another board toether for a while. Sending love to all xx

ibeka · 13/04/2015 17:15

Hi all, rang the EPU who said they will call end of week and see if still positive then. Feel so impatient - I just want this over with so I can try again!

Sorry to see the new joiners, but welcome.

Fizzie I would test but I am very impatient!

Bristolian congratulations!!

redredwine4 · 13/04/2015 18:56
