New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?

Thanks for posting your story hope very encouraging. Congratulations on your baby girl.

missmrsmummy I didn't realise getting the first negative after positive opk was counted as day 1. Good to know. Had a strong line yesterday. I tested this morning and nothing. P could be diluted.

I've had all the Ov symptoms except the tender bbs. My temps have gone down to 36.3 but not properly charting as in keeping a proper record and I only started last cycle.

I'm still very new at TTC. Dh and I have a ds, unplanned but very happy he came into our lives. So technically this is my first TTC.

Now sitting in the Australian sun soaking up the much need vitamins D before heading back to Europe.

ibeka Hope things return back to normal real soon.

Stats: age 35. 1 DS. 1st MC on 3rd cycle. Now on 4th Cycle CD 14.

Oh crap!! Didn't mean to post three times, my iPad is acting a bit retarded this morning!! Blush

MarysPrayer · 12/04/2015 11:05

Morning all.

MissMrs I also did shedloads a few opks yesterday. nice dark lines so will expect none today. I've been having cramps too - I've read that first ov after my can be more painful Confused
Littlebunny I'm on cycle 4 too, after my in cycle 3. We're not quite 'twins' though - I'm two years older, damn you young 'n Wink

ibeka unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at things) I was getting negative hpts within a day or two of my starting so that might be why things have been straight forward in this first cycle. I guess it means the fetus had passed quite early. Thankfully nobody used the term cp.

MarysPrayer · 12/04/2015 11:07

my = mc. Sorry, not good at typing on my phone Blush

ibeka · 12/04/2015 11:09

Hmmm. Not sure what my body is doing, guess that's why they call it the WTF cycle! I did another HPT and an OPK today. Hope people don't mind if I ask for opinion on pics? The HPT is basically negative (there is a sort of line is I squint at it) and the OPK is positive. I am not sure to trust the OPK or if it may be picking up last traces of HGC.... Anyone have any ideas?

missmrsmummy I remember you from TTC thread too - sorry to see you here :-(

kep1979 · 12/04/2015 11:40

ibeka this was what mine were like - and had the positive opks for a few days. I didn't know either so we dtd anyway, and the AF arrived bang on time 14 days later, so must have been ovulation. I carried on doing opks all through the cycle but they went back to being completely negative.

I had a bit of a question about the first AF after Mc? I am on day two and it's really really heavy and loads of clots, some quite big. I didn't expect it to be so bad. Is this normal? Or as normal as anything after mc can be? I suppose it can only be a good thing if my body is having a proper clear out, ready for future baby.... but just wanted to see if i should be concerned.

brickiemum2 · 12/04/2015 12:30

I had similar hpt/opk results ibeka and when I posted a pic the consensus seemed to be that the opk was picking up the hcg that was left (yes I can see a faint line on the hpt)

CD 4 so waiting for af to stop. Bored.

mrsdiddlydoo · 12/04/2015 13:00

kep everyone's first post mc AF can be different. Its not unusual for it to be heavier than normal and clotty. Other ladies find they have a lighter AF. It sounds like you're body is just having a clear out. Just keep an eye on it. AFs after mc are horrible if you ask me. Just like some cruel reminder... But I don't do blood very well. My first post mc af's have been both heavy and light, but one was after an erpc.

littlebbunny · 12/04/2015 13:43

I'm not sure how normal this is but I seem to feel the cramps coming on stronger during this ovulation. I know everyone is different after mc but just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience after mc. I haven't seen af since mc and my opk were positive yesterday evening and this afternoon. I used first response opk.

Yokyil · 12/04/2015 13:46

littlebunny I got quite strong cramps in between my mc and AF arriving. Still had them in between the next period as well, never cramped in between periods at all. Always only on the first and second day of AF. Everyone different - it will most likely be stronger ovulation pains?! Just more pronounced

littlebbunny · 12/04/2015 13:47

Also my last ovulation I had cramps and spotted for the first time that lead to the bfp which didn't stick.

littlebbunny · 12/04/2015 13:52

Thanks yokyil was starting to feel a little concerned. Hopefully it'll disappear soon.

MarysPrayer · 12/04/2015 13:54

Littlebunny I'm getting the same thing. Have read that 1st ov after mc can be more painful. Fx.

littlebbunny · 12/04/2015 14:01

Ah so it's quite common it seems marys

Becca2967 · 12/04/2015 14:13

Hi I'm in my 20s two sons born 2008 and 2012 me and my husband also had a #mc1 June 2010 4weeks #mc2 October 2010 6weeks #mc3 February 2011 6weeks then had my rainbow conceived February 2012 ttc December 2014 for baby three! To compete us, fell pregnant quickly but miscarried on 9th April 2015 at 7+6. Heartbroken that we have to go through this again x

MarysPrayer · 12/04/2015 14:42

Welcome becca , sorry you find yourself here Thanks
I have a dd the same age as your youngest. We've been trying for dc2 since Jan, mc on 29th March @5 1/2 weeks.

Becca2967 · 12/04/2015 15:19

Sorry you find yourself here too :-( it'd certainly been hard this one, I've not got to this stage With the other miscarriages so I had just stated to feel positive but a scan shown no heartbeat on 8/04 then 09/04 I started to miscarry :-( hope you get your rainbow soon xxx

MissMrsMummy · 12/04/2015 16:08

littleb I had strong lines yesterday and a good temp rise this morning so I'm counting today as 1dpo. If you had a temp dip today then today might be your ov day. Though your tests are negative today so I'd class yourself as 1dpo today as well. Complicated, isn't it?!

marys and littleb I agree about painful ov. I was v bloated yesterday and had cramps and twinges. In fact I've had that mildly since Monday!

Hi ibeka sorry to see you here. Hope you're ok x

becca welcome and sorry to hear about your mcs. There's lots of support here.

Ladies I'm having a real wobbler today! Been to the shopping centre and it seems everything is located through the baby departments so you have to walk past all the cute baby stuff which is just torture. Plus there are couples with babies everywhere, I mean noticably more babies than usual. Wahhh. Maybe it's because I have ov'd and am in the 2ww now. Feel kind of helpless whereas we have been proactive the last week or so.

How is everyone else?

MarysPrayer · 12/04/2015 16:27

Sending you some unmumsnetty hugs and xxxx missmrs

ibeka · 12/04/2015 19:01

Thanks, kep and brickie. I'm getting a bit worried because tomorrow is when I have to ring the EPU if still a positive HPT. Really really just want it all to be over and not have to start worrying the ERPC may not have worked completely etc.

kep I was told to expect a heavier first period after MC.

Thanks, missmrs. Sorry to hear you're feeling low today. I completely understand what you mean - sometimes you feel like the only person in the world without a bump or tot in tow. I try telling myself that probably a large number of these women have been on journeys more difficult than my own to get where they are and it sometimes helps a bit.

MissMrsMummy · 12/04/2015 19:50

Thanks everyone Smile x

CarrotPuff · 12/04/2015 20:02

I also had a very heavy AF post mc. The next one was normal and this one is a bit of a killer Confused

I know what you mean mrsm, I had to get a sunhat for DS yesterday and popped into Mothercare. Almost burst into tears at the sight of tiny babygros...

Hugs to all Flowers

MissMrsMummy · 12/04/2015 22:00

Glad it's not just me carrot!
