New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

MrsD Smile Smile

Morning all. (posting on phone, will post properly later)

ibeka · 11/04/2015 12:23

Hi Ladies, I've been reading for a few days but have been posting on a general TTC thread. However, I feel I need a little bit of post-MC specialism. I had an ERPC on 23rd March. It was a MMC. Discovered at 9 weeks at a private early scan, surgery at 11 weeks after EPU monitored for a couple of weeks. I have been doing pee sticks the last couple of days and reckon by tomorrow I'll have my negative. Just wondering if others who have been through similar know roughly how long after that they OVed? The doctor recommended me to wait a cycle before trying but I'm keen to get cracking again ASAP and figure that as long as I know the ERPC has been successful there's no reason no to? I feel like I've had any capacity for joy sucked out of me and the only way I will get it back is to feel pregnant again.

Special hello to kep - we got our BFPs on the TTC thread around the same time. Sorry to see you here.

Also big congrats to Mrs D. I wish you a very healthy and happy 9 months.

I am ibeka, 32, TTC no.1. WTF cycle after MC 23/03.

mrsdiddlydoo · 11/04/2015 13:07

Lots of Wine and Cake for you carrot. I'm sorry AF got you.

Thank you ladies

MissMrsMummy · 11/04/2015 13:43

Morning ladies, sorry I've been quiet I've been too busy DTD away relaxing for a few days

Congrats mrsdiddly so pleased you have a line and that DH has confirmed! Fx the progesterone helps it to stick

marys we are def cycle twins... I had a dark line on opk yesterday and again today. Have you felt like DTD? We have been quite motivated, in fact more that ever since we had a bfp. We feel like pregnancy is actually achievable now.

Hope you're all ok?

MarysPrayer · 11/04/2015 13:54

Yay missmrs !! Smile I got a dark line again today too! We dtd last night and will hopefully do the same tonight too. I felt a little sad actually, not quite sure why, but I know that, as far as this cycle is concerned, it's now or never.

Hi ibeka. I'm sorry I haven't any experience of erpc. I have read that you count your first negative hpt as cd1 and ov usually happens 2-4 weeks after that. Have you tried using opks? I have found the ic ones from amazon very useful. AFAIK, the doctors advice to wait one cycle is just so they can date the next pregnancy more easily, if you were to fall pregnant again immediately. This is also where opks would be really useful.

Yokyil · 11/04/2015 15:09

marys this was your first month using opks??

MarysPrayer · 11/04/2015 15:11

No, I used them since we started ttc in January.

littlebbunny · 11/04/2015 15:11

Hi ladies, hope you are all well.

madgiebeans hope things are going well. Smile
carrot sorry to hear that af arrived.

I've been away keeping myself busy with our new home and enjoying time with my family during the school hols.
It seems my cycle has returned back to normal after my early mc a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday I had a faint line on the opk and stronger today. Now the tww.

MarysPrayer · 11/04/2015 15:13

Littlebunny it's me, you and missmrs in the tww together Smile

littlebbunny · 11/04/2015 15:17

MarysPrayer yay tww buddies Smile

kep1979 · 11/04/2015 15:23

ibeka sad to see you this side Flowers but welcome. I had a natural mc, so not advice following ERPC, but i did seem to ovulate on cd14 (with mc on 15 March as day one). I couldn't rely on the very dark positive opks i got as i was still pulling a v faint hpt positive (hcg less than 23 as had blood tests day before). We tried immediately, but AF arrived today, after a few days of spotting. So i think i ovulated prior to getting a negative hpt.

marys and missmrs good luck!!

This cycle i am going to try to remember to chart my temp as well as do opks as usual. I have pcos so can ovulate anywhere from day 14 to day 60 or not at all. However my last few cycles, inc, uding my bfp and wtf cycles, i ovulated on day 14. So hoping my cycle behaves. Going to carry on taking my pregnancy vits and high dose vit c until i run out, then go back to the seven seas ttc, vit d and vit c. Also going to carry on eating loads of spinach as craved it massively at the beginning of my bfp cycle (before ovulation) so who knows Grin. Also getting my dh some Jack Daniels Silver Medal as he is convinced that we conceived the night he got drunk on!

STATS: kep, 36, ttc #3, cd1 of cycle 31 Sad

CarrotPuff · 11/04/2015 17:04

This AF has hit me hard. Was in tears in the morning and on the verge of tears all day. Maybe because we had put a good effort this month. I don't know.

I need to relax a bit. Both times I got pg when I mentally stepped back from TTC a bit. Don't know how to do it though, another baby is just all I can think about at the moment!

Going to stuff my face with brie tomorrow. Getting drunk would be a good idea tonight but DS woke up at 5.30 today Confused No guarantee he'll sleep any better tonight. I think he's teething - about time, he didn't have any new teeth for 3 months now!

MarysPrayer · 11/04/2015 17:16

Really sorry Carrot. We're all here for you. The first day of af is always so emotionally stressful. Thanks Thanks

Lilliana · 11/04/2015 17:29

carrot I'm so sorry you got AF. I know what you mean about getting bfp when you're not trying - DD took 2 years and we got pg with her when we gave up. Easier said than done though.

Welcome ibeka, sorry to see you here. I'm new too and also just want to get on ttc and not wait for AF. I did wonder if I was odd for this but seems not Grin. I have a natural mc so not sure about your situation but I'm still waiting for a negative test

redredwine4 · 11/04/2015 20:40

Welcome to the new folks.

Keeping my fingers crossed for marys, mrsmiss and littleb- you're doing all the right things!

kep- loving the "sniper not scattergun"

carrot- the first day is always the worst, then quickly comes the chance to try again. Hope you get some sleep tonight as that won't have helped.

Hope26 · 11/04/2015 20:51

Hello ladies.

Just an update. I had a mmc last April when I was supposed to be 16 weeks pregnant but baby passed away at 13 weeks. My first child, my son had trisomy 13. I later conceived in July last year and now have birth on 3rd April to my beautiful baby girl. I want to say there is hope at the end of the tunnel, don't quit, keep trying, I hope all of you have your bundles of joy with you soon. Lots of love, Hope.

MarysPrayer · 11/04/2015 21:41

Thanks kep and red

Congratulations hope Smile I'm glad that you've had a happy ending and thank you for taking the time to post on here. xx

littlebbunny · 11/04/2015 22:28

Aw carrot wish I could give you a hug.

Thanks red and totally agree with you on sleep. I'm an emotional wreck when I don't get enough sleep.

MissMrsMummy · 11/04/2015 22:50

hope lovely of you to come and post! We all need a bit of encouragement sometimes. Congratulations on your wonderful baby news Flowers

carrot so sorry Cake Wine I also fell Pg last cycle when I had kind of given up... We were due to go to the fertility clinic so I was resigned to the fact it was going to take ages longer. But I don't know how to get myself into that state where I'm not fixated by TTC! Hope you are ok x

MissMrsMummy · 11/04/2015 22:52

marys have you done any more opk today? I've been doing them allll day! Still v dark lines! Just waiting for the line to fade so I can be 1dpo... I've got ov cramps so I'm getting a hot water bottle as it's supposed to help in some way!

ibeka · 11/04/2015 23:33

Thankyou for the responses, ladies. I had heard that too, marysprayer but it seems kep had a slightly different experience. I have a bulk pack of 60 OPKs (! obsessed muchly?!) but didn't want to start with them until i had a negative on the hpt. It just feels so long - nearly three weeks since the surgery, 5 weeks since I knew I had MCed. I just want to get going again!

Glad it's not just me, liliana!

carrot, sorry you're feeling low Sad It can just take over at times, can't it?

hope thanks for sharing your story. One of the ladies on the TTC thread I'm on who MCed 4 months ago has just got a BFP. These two stories combine to give me some hope.

littlebbunny · 12/04/2015 00:17

Thanks for posting your story hope very encouraging. Congratulations on your baby girl.

missmrsmummy I didn't realise getting the first negative after positive opk was counted as day 1. Good to know. Had a strong line yesterday. I tested this morning and nothing. P could be diluted.
I've had all the Ov symptoms except the tender bbs. My temps went down to 36.3 although not properly charting as in keeping a proper record. I only started last cycle so really not sure how to do bbt charting.

The girls in my family are very fertile, feeling slight bit of pressure.

I'm still very new at TTC. Dh and I have a ds, unplanned but very happy he came into our lives. So technically this is my first TTC.

I'm now sitting in the Australian sun, soaking up as much vitamin D as I possibly can before returning to Europe. I was told by doctor that I was borderline VD.

ibeka hope things go back to normal for you real soon.

Stats: age 35. 1 DS. 1st MC @ 3rd Cycle. Now on 4th Cycle CD 14.
