This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

4.40am start here as DS decided he's had enough sleep and can we all get up already Can anyone remind me why I want another one?..

Liliana wtf cycle is first cycle post mc. So before you get AF. Have you had your bfn yet? You won't ovulate until you do.

I had my BFN on Wednesday night. I didn't realise that was linked to Ovulation being able to start although makes sense when you think about it. Goodness knows when my first af will come tho as I have about a 42 day cycle usually ovulating 4 weeks after af finishes !!

We weren't properly ttc when I got pregnant, just leaving it up to fate/chance so if we do decide to actively 'try' then I expect it'll be tricky due to my long cycle and the fact that DP works abroad a week at a time from March to November.

However with the mmc at least we know we can get prgnant and I can start to carry a baby so fingers crossed the next one will stick.

Thanks for the explanation carrot I used my last test when I found out I was pg so need to order some more. I didn't realise I would need them before so better get on with it!

We'll be starting like Adventure with the see what happens method rather than charting etc as it seems to work better for me (think I get a bit obsessive when I track everything!) also we had just been on holiday to America both times we got a positive but we can't afford that again

He did try to go back to sleep but kept coughing. It doesn't happen very often, 2 days ago he woke up 7.45! His record was 3.30, and I was working then too. Lots of coffee was consumed that day?

42 day cycles? Have they always been that long?

When I was in my 20s if I wasn't on the pill I could go 7 months without af but came off the pill about 2 years ago to let my body try and settle before we wanted to ttc and it settled on 42 days !! I'm 37 now so not much time to spare really !

carrot yesterday or today. The progesterone I'm on will delay it though. I kind of have to stop taking it for AF to arrive, which is why I tested yesterday. I was told to take it for 7 days from CD 20 then test and if bfp to continue, if bfn to stop. Not sure whether a faint faint squinty line counts as a small bfp so I'm sticking with it and hoping for a clearer picture.

I'm not symptom spotting, but this morning my mouth was a little funny, metallic, maybe or maybe I needed to clean my teeth, boobs a teeny bit perky not that I have much left since Ds spent 18m emptying them and I have AF pains. Feeling pretty calm though.

MrsD I really hope you can see a proper line tomorrow.

Is that a symptom or have you been on the lentils and beans again carrot! Can be a symptom.

Thanks everyone for the advice yesterday re opks/ov/wtf cycles. I got a nice dark line on an ic opk today It's such a relief to know that my body isn't broken!

carrot I am on CD 28 too. I have just tested (silly girl) and BFN, as expected. I actually think I might be CD 7 if my spotting last week was an extremely light af.

Well my spotting has got heavier and brown but still not full on af, didn't bother testing this morning as i am sure it will be here v soon. Feeling ok-ish, dh is being awesome - reckons day one will mean we will know exactly where we are and he can be a "sniper rather than a scattergun" lol

I had my second blood test yesterday ( they tried both arms and couldn't get any so had to take from my hand ) and levels are dropping by but still pg. I have ordered a load of ic so hopefully they will be negative soon - never thought I'd be looking for a negative!

How soon after mc did you all start trying again?

Its a bit darker this morning... Counting it as a bfp as approved by dh. Feel a mixture of calm and excited and shitting myself. I wouldn't have got this far without you guys.

Lilliana we started ttc straight away but not in a really focussed way to start with. Just must just do whatever feels right to you guys
