Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage. Self explanatory, who wouldn't?

ROC - Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like <strong>Something</strong> = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

No txipi I haven't told him I POAS (yeah I know, wife of the year award over here for sharing with a bunch of strangers before my hubby)......basically where I live it is 10pm and tonight before bed we need to pack for our holiday. Yes the skiing holiday that we leave for tomorrow night after work with 7 of our friends. The one where there will be lots of dangerous activity and even more booze. I don't know what to say to him! Obviously I have to tell him but I wasn't really prepared for a potential BFP right now - it will have to get blurted out and then we will have to get on with packing and then go to work in the morning and then spend a week with our friends! Although I don't know if there is anything to even tell yet....maybe I should test again tomorrow!

jc not necessarily. if one or two are strong leaders in the morning it could be tomorrow! if they are all at same rate it could go as long as 5 days. depends how they all grow. I'm expecting to have list a couple by tomorrow morning so we shall see.

I'm sure if one day I get upduffed Mr.Txipi will know after I post it here. He thinks I am a bit obsessive so I don't tell him whenever I pee. If it was Mr.Txipi's choice I'll be testing 6 months pregnant, he is a bit too chill out and I want everything for yesterday

Oh wow lil how exciting that it could be tomorrow!!

I've told him, wasn't quite how I imagined it would happen - basically shoved the stick in his face and then told him not to get excited because IF it turns out to be a BFP then it's early days and lots of bad things can happen. Bit of a pessimist unfortunately due to seeing close friends go through a lot of shit.

I am going to POAS again in the morning and see what that looks like. If it's another line I really don't know what to do about holiday - I'm pretty sure there is no way at all I could keep it from my friends, it would be so out of character for me not to drink and they know I've drank on antibiotics before. One of them knows we are TTC so she would ask for sure. I really really don't want to tell people if I am 5 seconds upduffed but just can't see how we would keep it quiet at all. I'm a big wine drinker and hardly ever touch spirits so wouldn't be able to pretend with a lemonade.

Oh god oh god oh god I feel so weird. Not even happy.....just stunned. I would feel much more excited if I wasn't faced with having to tell people immediately! Obviously if it does turn out to be a real BFP then I am not complaining in the slightest as I've been wanting it and there are thousands who would do anything for it - and we knew that it would be possible before skiing, just really didn't expect it!

Thanks viroids, I am sorry to bring down the mood of what is shaping up to be an amazing fred for us all. I'm just getting so bogged down with work and stuff, and this month I have tempted every day (are you proud lil) and I was really hoping for a peak and haven't got it, it's just made me very low.

I got a set of Harry Potter comics from a friend today though in the post, that's cheered me up :)

And yeah lil apparently 5 days is max for taking them, I'll try CD2-6 this cycle and maybe do 3-7 next cycle.

jelly I a m proud! and look at it this way, at least you are finding out what your body is up to now rather than having AF every month and wondering why you aren't getting pg. knowledge is power. la tried for 14months before embarking on scientific Whatnots and realising a) she had short lp and b) she wasn't shagging late enough in cycle.
but I would also remind you I often iced after cd20 (latest cd25) so I'd say until cd30 don't lose hope on icing at all.

Aww jelly no need to apologise, we can't all be happy all the time and its totally understandable that you're worried. I would def try going to the docs with all your info and just see what they say, hopefully absolutely no issues at all but if you pester them then they might have a look into things before a year. Are you doing temp at same time every day and all that malarkey? Could be something as simple as that. And like lil says - you're one step ahead by being so on top of things already in terms of knowing your body.

on docs front I don't think they'll do anything until 12 months after the 12th week after your last depo

actually bat it means she's had a surge of LH which can happen and then not cause egg to release which is why she needs to keep temping. jelly I'd keep up opks until you see temp spike for 3 days too this cycle

lil im temping every day, not going to stop. I actually don't see it as a hassle much, I wake up naturally about 5:00am so I do my temp then record it when I get up (and adjust the time on FF). I did it at 2:00am on Sunday so FF didn't like that temp, but all the rest have been between 5-6am which is the tolerance zone I think.

Definitely a stealth shag in order I reckon jelly - one of them has got to do it eventually!

I told him - look a few posts back where I said how and you'll see that it was a magical moment - not! Haha. He has told me off already for saying it might be nothing and even if it is something then the chance of something bad happening is high! Says if I think negatively then bad things will happen so I need to think positively. So we will see what tomorrow's test brings and then think about how to deal with it! I've just had a few friends who have had really shitty luck so if this is a BFP I just daren't get my hopes up. Ok I'll try my best - I think that because (if it is a BFP) I am faced with telling 7 of our friends in the next few days I just feel like it is a lot of pressure to make it stick!! And then my parents are coming to stay for 2 weeks right after we get back so would have to tell them as they would also immediately notice the lack of drinking and as we live in different countries I never actually thought we would get the opportunity to tell them face to face when it did happen.

But anyway we will see what tomorrow brings! Off to bed now....if I can sleep!!
