Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also know as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage. Self explanatory, who wouldn't?

ROC - Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Option decorations include photographs of political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Hi muddy, I think the medical advice for pregnancy is you can exercise at your normal level. I can't see that it would be any different with twotting but you could always call your gp surgery and ask to speak to the midwife if you are worried.
We are going to be on a skiing holiday whilst I am twotting, I think medically it will be fine as if I am pregnant it will be a few cells buried somewhere in my pelvis. I could potentially POAS while I am there but going to wait until I get back I think.

townsender · 25/01/2015 17:31

Stoat gx for you. You are pregnant today, and it sounds like early bleeds are fairly common. Did you get checked by a midwife or do you have to wait until monday?

Muddy, I would say run. I think 1st trimester advice is mainly based on how you feel (ie potentially crap), rather than any risk of doing any damage to the bean for exercise which you would normally do anyway.

Rachel sorry to hear you lost Boyd, but how exciting about getting a new little kitten!

Toast85 · 25/01/2015 18:12

Loving all the cat talk. I talk to mine all the time too. And she talks back!
Gx for you from me too stoat.
It's a tricky one about the run muddy! I'm not a big exerciser but in terms of 'life on hold' it is tough- our only hope of a proper week off together this year is march- we want to go on hols but I'm thinking (if I'm pregnant by then) will I want to fly? What if there are problems early on? What about mc? Etc etc. Haven't decided what to do. And will be double disappointment if we don't go away and I'm not pregnant either!

batfish · 25/01/2015 19:23

yorkshire I am twotting and go on a ski holiday on Friday! AF is actually due on Fri or Sat. I have half convinced myself I'm upduffed due to 3rd day of very sore boobs (I usually get sore boobs closer to AF but only normally for 1-2 days) and now today have random stabby abdomen pains which is unusual - but at the same time I don't plan to test unless AF doesn't show her face by the middle of the ski hol and don't think I will refrain from skiing or drinking in the meantime! So I can't really be that convinced haha!

batfish · 25/01/2015 19:24

Oh and yorkshire I am also from Yorkshire Grin

jellypi3 · 25/01/2015 21:07

Evening all. Football was terrible so I'm going to bed knackered and achy lol!

Ainat266 · 25/01/2015 21:21

sorry to hear football was terrible jelly

I'm not feeling too good either tonight. really tired but can't seem to sleep.

I need to get my exercise levels up. I want to start using some of the classes at my gym but am worried about doing any. I don't want to collapse with exhaustion in front of a bunch of fitness fanatics. that or I need to get back in to going to the gym properly again..

I'm having a 'feeling extremely eat and bloated' day. Can you tell?

time to try and sleep again..

Hobbit19 · 25/01/2015 22:19

Big up the Yorkshire massive batfish! ooh excited that you are nearly at POAS time. Where are you going skiing? I figure that I am not going to take a pregnancy test with me and that I am unlikely to find one/understand the instructions of one in a small village in Austria so that will force me not to test until I get back! How long have you been ttc for?
Ainat go for it with the gym classes, I have always found people to be really friendly. I always have bags of respect for the people that are trying really hard, even if that means doing one star jump. Tell the instructor that you are new and nervous and they will look after you. I want to get fit /stay fit so I am prepared for labour... I know it is a long way off but potentially the biggest endurance event I would ever have done and therefore I feel like I should do some training. Also check out park runs in your area, they are awesome and free and you can power walk them if you are not ready for running!! X

lildottie · 25/01/2015 22:20

Hi All,

jelly the church looks absolutely gorgeous! exciting stuff. I'm helping my friend plan her wedding for next December atm. i love wedding planning. If I could make a living out of it I would!!

Town congrats! Beautiful line!

jelly and honey re EWCM, just because it isn't in your pants doesn't mean it's not there - believe me, i've seen it on ultrasounds!!!

just mini af could be ib or ovulation bleeding, or AF. i guess all you can do is just keep shagging!

Well I've just done my final injection - the HCG trigger shot. In 36 hours I will be in "theatre" for the egg collection!
muddy they better not put 8 back!! We've been told if we have 5 or more good embryos they will put one back. If less we could have 2 back. We definitely wouldn't have any more than that because of my age i'm so young :P
As for why so many eggs - to give you the best chance of conceiving and hopefully a few in the freezer so it's easier to have a sibling! Hoping for 8 eggs, but not all follicles necessarily have eggs in so will have to wait and see.

daisyspice · 25/01/2015 22:31

Good luck lil!
Smile

rachelrawrrr · 25/01/2015 23:18

Batfish & Yorkshire I'm in Yorkshire too! Wink Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 25/01/2015 23:49

Used the Stork for the first time tonight. Weird.

OP posts:
australopithecus · 26/01/2015 05:48

Yay for kittens rachel!
WTf is a stork?

jellypi3 · 26/01/2015 07:05

Morning!

honey you are so brave haha. How was it ;)

lil fantastic news. How weird is it that you could be pregnant in a few days! Are you getting more excited now?

I'm glad our weekend pissers produced one fantastic BFP :) hope you're ok town.

Still getting highs on the monitor. Temp still hasn't risen. No signs of EWCM (though as you say lil it could be there). I'm convinced I'm not icing. Oh well. How Kant months would you leave it without a temp spike or peak on monitor before going to doctors?

We will still shag EoD though to ensure if I do ice the egg is drowned in sperm!!

Got asked twice yesterday when I'm having children :/ I'm 24!!!

Purplecircle · 26/01/2015 07:09

Good luck Lil. I'm keeping my gingers crossed

I'm also in yorkshire

LaLa5 · 26/01/2015 07:11

Exciting lil!

Jelly bear with it, you're still only on month 2/3 of using it? It's learning your cycle

LaLa5 · 26/01/2015 07:11

I'm not in Yorkshire but my mum is!

jellypi3 · 26/01/2015 07:21

Second month la. It's more the lack if temp rise that's l

jellypi3 · 26/01/2015 07:23

Oops hit send too soon. It's the lack of temp rise that's making me doubt icing. But there's still plenty of time I guess, I'm on CD 14 today

So many Yorkshire people! I'm a southerner!

honeysucklejasmine · 26/01/2015 07:56

Don't worry Jelly, I'm a southerner too. And Yorkshire is a massive place. Didn't it win more Olympic medals than the rest of the UK combined?

No temp rise this morning so may use the stork again tonight! I'm on cd15 I believe. Usually ice on CD 13 but would not be surprised if recent events have delayed it.

OP posts:
jellypi3 · 26/01/2015 07:57

You've been stressed honey so I wouldn't be surprised. Seems we are both having trouble this month!!

lildottie · 26/01/2015 08:44

just poas and got a second line (because of the hcg trigger shot) very odd getting a second line at all when you aren't pg!

jellypi3 · 26/01/2015 08:55

Congrats lil Wink How odd to get a BFP though! Is that your first ever "BFP"?

jellypi3 · 26/01/2015 08:58

Oh who's doing the next fred?????

honeysucklejasmine · 26/01/2015 09:22

Sounds like it needs to be Lil!
