Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also know as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage. Self explanatory, who wouldn't?

ROC - Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Option decorations include photographs of political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Good luck Sunshine, get in there!

I will indeed post a picture of my pimped ROC, just as soon as I have made it.

As for directly PingOAS it depends what I'm using, if I have a proper bulky one then I can pee directly onto that, but the really thin internet cheapies I have ordered and watch out for excitedly in the post every morning despite icing this week will probably require a receptacle. Plus I think I would like to have one for the baby box.

LaLa5 · 20/01/2015 21:20

It was katos bollicle follicle, it looked sore poor thing :(

mummyofonesofar · 20/01/2015 21:24

Rhi I still have both FRERs from DS1 pregnancy in the baby box. Everyone says that's weird when they see it! Glad I'm not the only one!

gaggiagirl · 20/01/2015 21:27

You lot are chatty! My favourite thing on this thread is 'shakes beaver' I proper cried laughing!.
I'm going to add a picture of my ROC soon.

LaLa5 · 20/01/2015 21:32

Loving ROC chat. Mine was bubble bath lid then that went manky so I had a shampoo lid. Popz had a plastic pineapple cup! I'll always remember that :)

Muddytoes1 · 20/01/2015 21:34

Happy now as cramping has gone - on major pants watch now though. Feel bad as dh is out so went through his stuff and found 2 choc bars and ate them Blush. Had tried so hard to be healthy this evening, had salmon and steamed veg for dinner and now have ruined it and betrayed my hubby's chocolate trust not sure how much trust there was there before

Purplecircle · 20/01/2015 21:40

My rock is a Lakeland stackabox is posh kept in the airing cupboard and never to be used for freezing chilli in again

Purplecircle · 20/01/2015 21:41

Dammit ROC.

And my FRER is still on the bathroom shelf should move it before the cleaner comes on Monday

LaLa5 · 20/01/2015 21:42

Muddy give yourself a break, I ate my dhs creme egg yesterday and his toblerone last week. Men don't need chocolate as much as we do ;)

RhiannonElward · 20/01/2015 21:43

Mummy I have everything, from the little ear covers from their first hearing test to the tiny arm strap they used to hold his monitors on. DS1 was in special care for 6 days and they kept everything for us and gave it to us in a box when we took him home.

TinkerBlue · 20/01/2015 21:46

Aahh, the bollicle follicle, lovely sporn that. Ok roc photos are a great call. Am leaping on the jam jar bandwagon. Will be back with pics.
gaggia you not in on the poas party? I've obvs been here too long but I thought I knew your cycle?

Noniks3 · 20/01/2015 21:55

Tink please only put Monopoly money on me!!

I clearly need to sex up my ROC...old glass scuzzed by dishwasher isn't going to cut it anymore Hmm

Jelly the bollicle was a mean bastard cyst...where is yours- perhaps & hopefully just an ingrown hair? although can also give satisfying noise when at its peak & popped

townsender · 20/01/2015 22:04

Muddy hooray for no cramps, I need you at the poas party if I'm going to manage to hold off until Sat.

Go sunshine, work your magic Wink

LemonDrizzleTwunt · 20/01/2015 22:16

lildottie · 20/01/2015 22:45

Hi ladies. My bro is in hospital so might not be around much. He's disabled which makes everything more complicated. Sad

Ainat266 · 20/01/2015 22:59

Rhi you've started something. I need to jump on the roc decorating bandwagon. I'm not even testing or anything as I don't even think I'm ovulating. But maybe I just need a decorated roc to get things started. Grin looking forward to seeing the pics viroids!

pud your DH has my sympathy.

lil I'm hoping all is going well.

I finally went to the doctors. Pcos confirmed. Other than continuing with the metformin and trying to lose weight they won't do anything else for another 6 months. I'm hoping it won't take that long. But yea, in 6 months I could begin to get the ball rolling to see a specialist at which point they would also make DH jazz in a cup.

Today I've been in a fantastic mood. I mean, overly happy for no real reason. I didn't make it to the gym, but other than that it's been a pretty constructive day. And I did dance around my house for a good 45 min whilst singing (surprised the neighbours didn't complain) but that's got to count a little towards the exercise even if I was mostly spinning in circles!

I have just crashed now though, partially because of cramping that's come out of nowhere. Hot wheat bag thing time. Yesterday I experienced scabby boob pain for the first time in a long time. Hoping these are good signs of something. Maybe my body has found an old instruction manual kicking around under the sofa gathering dust and has decided to have a quick flick through...

Ainat266 · 20/01/2015 23:02

Oh dear. I meant jizz in a cup. Though I suppose he could try to do a jazz dance in a cup if there was one big enough for him to dance in.

And I of course meant stabby boobs. For the record my boobs are not scabby.

lildottie · 20/01/2015 23:02

ain glad to hear you've got a timeline now. and that you've had a constructive day. how's the meals going. I did Thai beef stir fry with noodles tonight from the BBC high protein low GI dirt plan thing. have you seen it?

honey sorry to hear about your bro. hope its nothing too serious Thanks

Ainat266 · 20/01/2015 23:04

honey I hope you and your family are okay. Is there anything any of us can do?

lil good luck for the morning!

Ainat266 · 20/01/2015 23:11

I haven't seen it lil will have to look it up tomorrow. Meals are going okayish. Today not so great, but yesterday I did chicken with a few boiled potatoes (not many, but I chopped them up small after they were cooked to make it feel like there were more, lol) and a big side salad which took up half the plate. I love salad. I'm a freak. Lol.

TinkerBlue · 20/01/2015 23:32

Lol at shabby boobs and dirt plans!

honey hope your brother gets well soon.

lil good luck. That's some exam if they took this long to mark it!

Purplecircle · 20/01/2015 23:37

Honey I hope your brother is ok.

Ainat after 4 months on metformin, I got pregnant the 2nd month of trying despite PCOS, and being overweight and over 40
It took 6 months last time for a non sticky bean.
You could be the same as me, it's not necessarily bad news and could help things along.
My diabetes nurse said to me today that I must be very fertile!

Ainat266 · 21/01/2015 00:05

purple I hope I have a similar story to tell in a few months. :-) did you have regular (or semi regular) visits from our dear friend aunty flo? I've not had a visit since August, so I'm not sure if I'm even ovulating. is it even possible to ovulate without having a period?

I have no idea what just happened in my life. DH was asleep next to me (I'm using technology in bed, tut tut, not good for my bad sleeping pattern). anyhow, he rolled over, started kissing me, and we ended up having a quicky. apart from afterwards he was adamant I woke him up and started it. I was playing words with friends whilst cuddling my hot wheat thing for cramping. I can't exactly say I was feeling horny. Haha. He's asleep again now... what was that about?

ah well. If these cramps and stabby boobs are by some miracle related to ovulating we dtd last night and tonight, so good timing...

honeysucklejasmine · 21/01/2015 04:11

PMA ladies, PMA. He recovers from infection about as well as an elderly person. He was having seizures but they are under control now and vital signs looking more promising. Will be back in the hospital in the morning to see how he is getting on.
