Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

We have names picked out already, have done for about a year :s haven't looked at cots and things though yet! Even though I am trying to be realistic about the chances of it happening first time I will be disappointed if it doesn't, I think it's normal to get excited about something so important though :)

we have a boys name but the girls name is still up in the air. and trying not to think that we might need two names like last time, no more twins please

i am mid way through clearing what will be the nursery ready to repaint it.

millie into head it was about five years, but I went back and looked at it now, and I think it has been more like 12 when I take into account it is now 2015! So from about 2003 until 2014, with a couple of breaks in between to reset myself purely because I thought it would be good for my body to have a couple of months of normal hormones in between. Loved it because I only got a period once every six or eight months! Sorry your experience so not so good? Confused

We have been stripping the paper off in the what-will-be nursery. Getting the plasterer in soon to skim the walls then we can paint.

I didn't realise the February bus was up and running so I'm reserving a seat. Af isn't due until 22nd Jan but we only dtd on cd 11 of 31 so no chance this month.

Stats will be BeauticianNotMagician 34, ttc#4, cycle 5, af due 22nd feb

You have to dtd for a BFP though and DH hasn't been that up for it lately ??

But maybe Feb will be the month where you do get it on and you get your bfp :) is he just tired?

It's hard when they are tired. I've told OH that we are DTD every other day for 3 solid weeks to be sure. He gave me this face Shock. He will also be working 1.5-2 hour commute away this month so will be shattered.

I haven't told DH when we need to dtd as I don't want him to freak. Am just going to have to try to seduce him even if that means dragging out the lingerie at the back of the draw :p

I've told mine so he knows where he stands. Simple fact is if he wants a baby we have to DTD. I will also be using the stocking tactic Wink

Hello! Can I have a seat please? Lost my seat on the Jan bus today as AF reared her ugly head....grrrr!

I temp and use opks plus last cycle we also used preseed and softcups to try and hold it all up there! Blush Will try the same this cycle...We also followed SMEP but to no avail! Onwards and upwards! Grin

Stats are tessiegirl, age 31, ttc #1, cycle 3 (although actually 2nd of well timed dtd fx!), bfp due Friday 13th Feb (fx its a lucky day for us!)

Oh and I forgot to add I am also going to stop taking Pregnacare conception vitamins from today as my cycle is getting longer with ovulation happening later. May be a coincidence but just taking plain old folic acid for a while to see what happens, if anything! Smile

mummyofonesofar my DH gave me the "ugh" face too. I give him advance warning as well. "Don't forget we need to DTD tomorrow!". I let him think he has a choice in terms of timing "now, later on but before dinner or after dinner?"

Must admit I'm not sure I can handle EOD for the rest of time until we're pregnant so I'm definitely going to change methods if this takes too long!

Spoke to a friend yesterday who is pretty naggy about us getting on the baby train. She has PCOS and has a period once or twice a year and needs assistance to conceive but is still young, mid-20s. I decided to tell her 'cause I knew she'd be excited... it was a mistake! I know she's not going to tell anyone but she's already mentioned how "weird" it is that I have a long cycle and she heard that it can mean infertility and I should

Currently on jan is it bad form to jump on feb bus? Would be good to get chatting should I need to for feb cycle as got to jan bus late. Af due 23rd jan. Feb af due 20th

Babybumphopeful - I'm not sure how long we can sustain it either. Advice is every other or every third day. So may drop in time if we get tired of it non stop.

I've told a few people we are going to try. A couple of close friends at work who I know won't say anything. One said "uh. I hope you don't get pregnant, I will miss you at work" I know she meant well but I don't want my womb hearing that!!!

going to DTD every 3 days. I have a feeling I ovulate later than my apps say.

Have given up with the OPK sticks. Personally think they are a load of tosh and may start temping. Heard lots of positive stories from temping.

Hello all, can I jump aboard? Nightandthelight invited me over from another thread!

I'm TTC #1. I'm 31 (v soon 32!). Never been on any kind of forum before so am seeing this as the first sign of the TTC obsession that I know is going to overtake me... I've wanted to TTC for some months but DH has only just jumped aboard so am v excited.

I was on mini-pill for YEARS and only came of in mid-Dec - AF arrived a few days ago for her first visit since. Haven't had pill-free cycles since I was about 20 so cannot remember what they were like!! So many horror stories about the mini-pill but I'm trying to ignore them.
