Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

CoffeeTwo, 31, ttc #2, cycle 6, BFP due 10th February.

Can I join please? I was hoping not to but AF has arrived in style, and uncharacteristically 2 days early. on the plus side, that is 2 days I don't have to wait wondering so I will hold on to that small silver lining. DH is actually slightly happy as he is enjoying the process!

Queen, ttc#4, Cycle 2, CD1, BFP due 1st Feb ish.

Vmj23 · 03/01/2015 18:01

Well looks like I deffo am on feb bus as I thought, af just arrived! Might try the ov sticks of amazon see how I go with them this month. X

Vmj23 · 03/01/2015 19:17

Just ordered my ov & pregnancy tests off amazon ready for this month hopefully it works this way be aware I may post pics and need advice once I have started on them Grin x

Nevlet · 03/01/2015 20:17

Any other february triers recently come off the pill? Any advice?

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 03/01/2015 22:10

I came off the pill in September. Got pregnant first month but had a mc at 11 weeks. It didn't have anything to do with the pill though! I got pg with dd quickly too and that worked out fine. Don't think there can be any tips about going off the pill! Just stop taking it at the end of the pack, relax and shag! Shouldn't need to think about it much more than that really. Maybe keep an eye out for signs of ovulation in first month in case cycle takes a while to settle.

lraffe · 03/01/2015 22:11

Newbie here, we've been TTC since September and I'm just getting PMT symptoms today (twingy cramps, painful breasts) so I think AF is on the way- I'd like to say pregnancy symptoms but I doubt it. Missed ovulation totally in December as Mr had the flu.

Hoping for a positive in February.

I don't do BBT but have got the Glow app which is useful for tracking calendars. Is the temperature testing useful?

Nevlet · 03/01/2015 22:51

Thanks Guy did an ovulation test yesterday and got quite a bright test line so hope my body is doing something! Just trying to DTD every other day incase... Fingers crossed

TeenieDeenie · 03/01/2015 23:43

Hi ladies... Quietly taking a seat near the back whilst waiting for AF to arrive if that's ok. First scan showed I had an mmc at 11+5 on Dec 15 and had a natural mc on Dec 19. Waiting for first period then we will start ttc again. Will update stats when AF arrives.

jss84 · 04/01/2015 00:23

I'd love to join please! I came off the pill about 6 months ago, but this will be my first month of TTC. It'll be great to hear from some people going through the same thing!

Sweedie1 · 04/01/2015 15:49

Hello everyone! Newbie here, ttc #1 having recently removed IUD. Started taking folic acid and using the glow app. Nice to 'meet' you all!

MillieMoodle · 04/01/2015 16:50

Took my last pill yesterday but DH is still full of cold so not dtd yet and no sign of AF either. Will have to wait for both!

Hopesonewby · 04/01/2015 17:06

Hi ladies, I'd like to join too please :)

I'm on my first day of Clomid after two years ttc following a missed miscarriage. Been ttc for 3.5 years.. Really excited to finally get help with ov but trying not to get too carried away. This is the first time I've been on a thread since the mmc, it feels good to be back

Fingers crossed for you all, let's hope Feb 2015 is our month!

Nevlet · 04/01/2015 17:13

Good to meet others who are TTC... We have chosen not to tell any family/friends as don't want the added pressure so it will be good to share on here!

MillieMoodle · 04/01/2015 19:28

We are not telling anyone that we're ttc either. My mum, MIL and SIL are all desperate for us to have another (DS is nearly 4) and the hints they drop are enough pressure without any of them knowing anything!

QueenofKelsingra · 04/01/2015 19:30

nevlet we haven't told anyone either (didn't with either previous pregnancy either). a few close friends know I would like another one but don't know we are actually ttc now. I couldn't cope with the constant speculation every time I wasn't drinking or feeling off colour if everyone knew we were trying. my friends will not be surprised though, not sure if i'll be able to keep quiet until 12 weeks like I want to !

loopylou1984 · 04/01/2015 19:42

So I'm kinda straddling this and the January bus as af/bfp due 31st jan/1st feb!

Just waiting (im)patiently for now.

jss84 · 04/01/2015 19:53

We're not telling people that we're actively trying...but I think our close friends will just know anyway! I don't want to put too much pressure on it though...and I don't want to bore my friends too much either!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 04/01/2015 20:00

Think everyone we know will assume we were ttc as family, friends and colleagues all know about my mmc. It was discovered at 9 weeks and then I mc at 11 weeks so that couple of weeks were a bit difficult to hide from people.

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/01/2015 09:53

Morning all!

Well I didn't want to tell anyone about ttc, but did tell a couple of choice mates who knew I was intending on trying at the end of 2014.

Really didn't want to tell my parents but DP let the cat out of the bag when I opened his Christmas present in front of my mum.....it was a book about exercising whilst pregnant! Cheers DP! So I had to spend most of xmas trying to convince them I'm not already pg! Even had to drink more wine than I usually would just to make it clear ha ha Grin

nervoussam · 05/01/2015 10:28

I'd like to join, although I think its wishful thinking. This is the first time for us and I came off the pill 2 months ago, had a short withdrawal bleed but nothing since. Am worried it could take months to get a cycle and was hoping to get cracking straight away in the New Year. Fingers crossed that AF comes in the next few days so that we can start, I'm getting myself all worried now, I know its only a couple of months but I can't help not..

jss84 · 05/01/2015 11:52

It's really hard not to talk to friends and family about it, because it's such a big thing...and I imagine it's all you can think about at times. Great to be able to chat on here though! Has anyone done temperature charting or ovulation testing? I've been charting my temp to get a rough idea of my fertile window, but it's a bit erratic.

australopithecus · 05/01/2015 12:04

Hallo. Just joined ttc while bf thread too.
If someone could pleeee-eease do a roundup of acronyms for me that would be so very helpful! I have little idea Of these things. Came off cerazette for dc1 (9 months) after about 5 years and got a bfp after first period a few days later, so have never needed to know or research these things. I know we were lucky, especially because of my age. Think it will be more difficult this time around. Confused
Australopithecus, late 30s, ttc #2, have no clue about cycles or "advanced" acronyms but on month 2 of cutting back on bf with no AF yet.

browneyedgirl86 · 05/01/2015 12:19

Can I join please?

Just got kicked off the January bus so hoping next one will be positive. Still quite new to ttc so don't chart or anything perhaps that's where I'm going wrong!!

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 05/01/2015 14:50

Flowers brown it's so disappointing.

I didn't couldn't be bothered to do any of the charting malarkey either although I did use one of the period tracker apps when TTC #1 so I knew roughly when I'd be ovulating.

DeepTurquoise · 05/01/2015 15:10

Can I join as well please? :-) getting my mirena out on Wednesday and excited to start ttc #2! My dd was actually a lovely surprise (shortly after finding out I have PCOS) so no sure how long it will take this time! Fingers crossed for everyone xx
