Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

ibeka it's brand new so better bloody work! It could be down to the lurgy but I woke up nice and toasty. Just tried it now and got 35.9 and DH got 36.1 so pretty sure it's working. It seems I'm just weird but why break the habit of a lifetime?

Babies are gorgeous, but baby groups are hellfire. Also, when you bring your baby home you feel like an alien has invaded your house and all your pets go nuts and then you have a kind of breakdown and then you're okay. Kinda.

Fairly certain they were 5 weeks as I remember feeling lucky I had 4 weeks between periods compared to friends' 3... This was 15 years ago though! Now I think a 5 week cycle will just make TTC more frustrating. No idea how long my luteal phase ever was. I've run out of OPKs but may order some more now...!

Purdey I feel like an Alien myself most of the time so I'm down with that. Bring it!!! And I have no pets. Bonus. Id ask your opinion on to AI or not to AI but I'm pretty sure I know what you are gonna say.

Rainy aww thanks . I think I could still be in pain for a while and to be honest I feel I need to do something to move forward.. !!! I asked the clinic and they said it should do no harm or damage so... how are you doing this far?!

Hi all very sad today think AF is on its way got all the symptoms and due tomorrow :(.
Took first responce yesterday and neg so defo know I havent been lucky this month. Now to start all over :(.

Sorry keys that's not great. But... Not over till it's over.. Some people (including me) said they felt exactly same as normal pre AF and got a BFP so don't give up hope! And if not then won't be long before time to try again.. And get your BFP! Good luck, fingers crossed for you

Wow. The January mistresses are fast arriving. Maybe we need an bendy-bus? Or at the very least a double decker! Speaking of double-decking , with DTD again tonight? Still having some ewcm once or twice a day and it is day four of faint opk lines but no strong surge line? Should I bother? Or are the faint lines all a ruse? DTD three times in last five days. So worried about missing this first ovulation!

Sparkly if the clinic said it wont do any harm and you feel upto it then go for it!!, I'm feeling a bit better now thanks , made some homemade chicken and leek soup, which didn't last as good as my mums but certainly was good!!

Hello, can I join the bus?
I am ancient (just turned 40) and my other half is ancient but we have made a crazy decision to try and have a child together.
We started trying last month but had visitors staying over at the crucial time. This is the first month we've been trying properly. I'm slowly getting to grips with the science (temping, observing the signs etc.). Paranoid I have no eggs left or low progesterone or his sperm is crap. Wish they gave you an MOT at 30 so you knew when you had to get a wriggle on.
FF/Ovia tell me I ov'd on the 20th so I have about 8 days left to wait.

I still don't really feel grown-up enough to be doing this properly... :-S
