Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

purdey I don't know why I'm reluctant .. Just incase it's too soon.. But I don't know what im worrying about actually happening.. Probably some obscure impossible event that I'm creating in my mind! Ha ha.

Anyway pals, it's too late. I am officially inseminated! So the week of dtd begins (AI dtd Wink ) feels good!! Come on February!!!!

Austral, the general advice (my gynae; Zita West; the SMEP) is to dtd every other day from approx CD10 (in case of early ov) until you get your positive opk (yours sounds a few days away) then go at it like them two rum lads in Brokeback Mountain.

Ok so I'm either CD 10 or CD 8. We both agreed this is prob a trial run today to get going.. Just to see how I felt about doing the AI again and if I could manage. We wanted to do same as last month- 10 then 12 then prob it will be my fertile smiles and go for it. Will see what tomorrow brings but I feel good I've made the move forward.

Giddy that made me guffaw Grin Sparkly, I ate your carrot cake with custard I promise not to give up, but I need to be realistic about my odds with one tube, although I am super encouraged by Rainy's kind share. I think I'm worried about joining new buses each month, where maybe folks don't know me, and them thinking 'who is she to think she can advise us? She's no doctor. Gerroff t'bus you crumbly owd slag!' This is why I'm trying to only advise where I'm being asked for my opinion. Is that okay? Smile

Purdey I totally understand you want to be realistic too but it can happen right? It is def possible! And look at Rainy's friend.. Such a great story to hear!! I have a feeling about you. BFP on route... Grin and no one thinks that.. Everyone is just so grateful for your knowledge you have gained through the long journey you have had! You are great and we are all so lucky to have such a clued up passenger on these buses Wink

babs bloody hell, you've done a damn site more than I have today with AF having eventually shown up..

I've sat on my backside despite the having a sink piled with dirty pots & a laundry basket full to capacity!

Purdey you give valuable advice , which all of us on this bus at times needs, no one will think any bad of you!!, it's great that you have so much knowledge and you probably have more insight than the doctors have, its good to be well in formed, i trundle the internet night after night trying to find information and things that will help me!! i too at times feel like quitting , i have not been on this journey very long and it is soul destroying but i won't let it beat me, where there is hope there is a way, I'm bloody welling up now!! lol

Hello ladies....in need of urgent advice please before tonight is over!!

So, we last dtd on CD10 and we were aiming for eod but we were absolutely knackered yesterday so thought we would try tonight on CD13....but....I got a very nearly positive opk this afternoon....which I think could be a positive tomorrow....my question is do we still dtd tonight or wait until tomorrows first positive (hopefully)?????!!!!

Purdey. All advice is fab, I listen to lots of yours. I had never thought about asking (making) dh to take supplements. So he is suitably dosed up now!

Winterbaby. Good for you! I sat and cried and tanted like a two year old, then thought I'm not letting the witch get me down (plus dh was running out of nice things to say and starting to look desperately at the door).

I'm now crashed on sofa eating my way through a large quantity of unnecessary baking.

Tessie, it's a toughie, isn't it? If you are becoming burned out with the volume of sex you should wait until you see the test line is as strong as the control and then have sex that night and the day after. How does that sound? It's nice when someone else can make a decision for you, innit Smile
