Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

CoffeeTwo, 31, ttc #2, cycle 6, BFP due 10th February.

Impressive stuff purdey! He's nearly sixteen months. Loves boob. Can't get him off. Bless him.

Giddymamma · 24/01/2015 22:20

Just seen an advert below my message... It turns out I don't have the cbafm. I just have a cbfm. Now pondering if I need an cbafm. Damn these marketing people!!

Giddymamma · 24/01/2015 22:21

Baby, I get totally superstitious too... Hated walking to work last time as I kept seeing those birds where one is sorrow, two is joy etc. would fret all day If I only saw one! Sorry to hear there is family drama.

ibeka · 24/01/2015 23:55

purdey, thanks for the advice, FX for a temp rise in the next day or two...

MrsSax · 25/01/2015 00:35

Hi all, would love to join the Feb bus, my first one, although been lurking for a few months, so feel like I know some of you already!
I'm 28, TTC #1, cycle 3, cd 8.

I came off Cerazette November 1st, and got my first AF in 4 years after 33days. 1st cycle was only 20days and my second cycle was 25.

Not started using OPKs yet, just trying to use Ovia app, and DTD as often as possible! I'm away with work until CD 12, so hoping I'm still in with a chance this month.
FX for lots of BFP on the bus!

BabyBumpHopeful · 25/01/2015 02:07

Welcome MrsSax!

australopithecus · 25/01/2015 06:04

Hi giddy also still bf-ing #1 (10 months), but have decided to cut down massively in hope of getting AF started! You're one step ahead in actually having an AF already, although I am fx that I'm ovulating soon and catching it before AF arrives! Have done some opks and checked CM but haven't done any temp checks as I can't be assed to try and remember another thing and feeling stressed if I missed it or DC wakes up earlier or later messing my sleep around or I need to go pee but forgot to take it before getting out of bed! Too much! Grin

australopithecus · 25/01/2015 06:18

purdy I figure it is also a matter of whether or not you can cope with talking about it if something goes wrong. For some people it is a huge thing miscarrying or having to terminate if there is a problem. For others it is less of an issue, more physical than psychological. Would you like to talk to people about it or not considering they might mention it at a whim especially I'd it struck you hard emotionally? Do you want sympathy or not? Do the people you know tend to be assholes or kind? If you find stuff medically interesting, will your less emotional approach cause people to critisise you and can you deal with that? The reason we waited was partly because of the latter but partly also because I just wasn't sure HOW I would actually react if nature decided the pregnancy was not to be. This just covered the bases. Also, I didn't want to fall into the trap of blaming every niggle on being pregnant and expecting sympathy. I might have needed it more later on, and have cashed in all my 'you poor thing, go have a lie-down' cards too early! Grin And of course not forgetting having to put up with an extra twelve weeks of advice from eeee-eeveeryone you meet and especially family members! Grin

australopithecus · 25/01/2015 06:19

Oops lo-ong post! Blush

australopithecus · 25/01/2015 06:20

And sorry that should have been to baby not purdy. Tooo-ooo early to be poking at mn on my phone. Confused

Giddymamma · 25/01/2015 06:39

Fingers crossed for you austra! My little one has dropped his day feeds but still feeds at night and is a terrible sleeper so feeds quite a lot still, so think that's why I was a bit later getting af. Was getting frustrated and a friend who is a yoga teacher told me to visuuualiiiise my af to let my body know I was ready. Sounds mad but the week before af I painted my nails red, made notes at work in a red pen, talked to my ovaries, my OH even had a chat with them through my tummy ("RELEASE THE EGGS!") and here she is. Might be just coincidence... Now fretting I should have been visualising eggs not red stuff and this might just be some crazy bleed. I fret a lot. :)

nightandthelight · 25/01/2015 07:39

So much for the much anticipated AF, 12 hours of very light brown spotting and now nothing. According to a lady on the copper coil removal thread that was all she got the first month too. I have no idea what this means for TTC :(

PurdeyBirdie · 25/01/2015 08:13

Ibeka, no temp rise this morning?

mummyofonesofar · 25/01/2015 08:15

Hi girls. I don't think k you can count it until there is a good "flow". Don't know if that means your cycle is still going or if that's all you get you can count it night. Still nothing here. But have had my temp drop.

I have had my temp drop

mummyofonesofar · 25/01/2015 08:19

Is a dip then a rise on in indcating expected AF?

All Aboard the February Bus!
mummyofonesofar · 25/01/2015 08:20

Oops didn't check spelling*ok in indicating

WinterBabyof89 · 25/01/2015 08:22

Morning all,

Welcome MrsSax :) fx you ov cd 13/14!

baby completely understand your POV. Sorry to hear about the family drama. You're not nuts at all - do what makes you happiest & makes you the most comfortable.

night sorry to hear AF hasn't appeared in full flow.

giddy loving your visualisation strategy haha..

AF arrived early hours - So bloody pleased it finally made it's appearance. So cd1 here. BFP due around the 22nd Feb.. One can dream!
Cramps are so painful - ever since having dd last year my periods have been a lot more intense & I'm changing ultra tampons every 2 hours for first two days.. Feeling very woe is me.. BrewCakeBiscuit

blondiewoowoo1 · 25/01/2015 08:35

Hi all
Sorry to hear your news poco and sorry to all those who AF has arrived.
Just a quick question and sorry if tmi but I got a smiley on the CB Digital Ovulation test yesterday afternoon but my CM isn't egg white like, more milky and sticky (wow never thought I'd be discussing this with complete strangers! Blush)
Does that mean that the smiley face could be wrong and that I'm not due to ovulate?

PurdeyBirdie · 25/01/2015 08:40

Mummy, hard to tell without a full chart of temps but, yes, it looks like AF is imminent, especially if you did ov on CD16 when you had the pain. It also means today is the fourteenth day of your luteal phase which, of course, would signal AF is due any time. Are you using opks? You won't always get a plummeting temp followed by a small rise before AF but that does happen with me sometimes.

Sorry AF arrived Winter.

Welcome MrsSax (do you play the saxophone?) Opks rock!

PurdeyBirdie · 25/01/2015 08:42

Blondie, trust the hormone test before you rely on bodily fluids. That's my advice.

mummyofonesofar · 25/01/2015 08:45

I normally have 27/28 day cycles. Must just be a late one. Will just carry on waiting! Not using opks. Intending on DTD every other day from CD 6 ish non stop. If I get bored with this then might start using them. Thanks Purdey

nightandthelight · 25/01/2015 08:49

Yeah mummy I have no idea what to count, if this is all I am getting then this is technically CD2. However Ovia counts it as CD32! I think that for this month at least I am just going to have to dtd as often as I can and hope for the best. Am starting to annoy myself with all my worrying so heavens knows what I am doing to all of you! Will try not to update you now unless something definite happens :)

PurdeyBirdie · 25/01/2015 08:56

Mummy, have you done a test?? You may be preggo.

Twinkletoes007 · 25/01/2015 09:05

Morning all. I need some help!

Now into the fertile window of cycle 1 and DTD last night for the first time sans anything and I felt really apprehensive and scared about the whole thing. Worrying I'm not ready for this yet. But I'm not sure when I will be - is there ever a right time. Anyway this is probably not the right thread for this but I love our bus and am hoping you can tell me you've experienced similar at some point and to man the F up! Xx

mummyofonesofar · 25/01/2015 09:08

When we DTD CD16 we used protection as the Jan ovulation would have had a badly timed due date. So can't be. doesn't stop me wanting to poas trying not to lose the plot over it but getting impatient. Hmm
