Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

CoffeeTwo, 31, ttc #2, cycle 6, BFP due 10th February.

Hello, just a quick question, I've never travelled by this sort of bus before and was wondering if there's a plan for what happens when we are due to get off. Do we all just POAS when we're due or is there usually groups POASing on the same day?

jss84 · 22/01/2015 12:52

ibeka that is really good to know. Unlikely that I will get a BFP on my first cycle, but good to know I wont be doing anything to damage it if I do. You're right though...it'll be hard to avoid the après, hot tubs etc!

ibeka · 22/01/2015 13:03

Yes jss me too but no harm in hoping, eh? :)

TarkaTheOtter · 22/01/2015 13:19

So jealous of all the skiing!

DH has just told me that he will be away CD11-14 this month (well he didn't word it like that, obviously). I'm hoping my cycle will still be 31 days like before ds but looks like February might be out for me already Angry Sad

BabyBumpHopeful · 22/01/2015 13:25

Rhiannon depends really :) sometimes I've seen a POAS party where everyone plans for say, Friday, if they're a group. Some do it along the way of their own accord... you could always post that you're testing on X day and does anyone want a join :)

RhiannonElward · 22/01/2015 13:39

thanks BabyBump I might just do that. It'd be nice to go through it with others in the same boat Smile.

Rainy34 · 22/01/2015 13:39

Hi mummy of one so far - I have not tempted yet, I keep meaning to take my temperature but keep forgetting, think il try next month

mummyofonesofar · 22/01/2015 13:50

Rainy I have only been temping a week now. It was hard to wake up at the same time during the weekend - especially as my alarm usually wakes up my DS in the next room so I forego my lie in! Will have to get used to the idea I guess as fx will all have a baby in the next year or so we can wake up with the joyous sound of crying baby!

victoria401 · 22/01/2015 13:56

Hi ladies!

Finally jumping over from the Jan bus on cd4. not read back as takes far too long on my phone.

Victoria401, 34, ttc#1, cycle ? (lost count after 25) bfp Feb 18th

tessiegirl · 22/01/2015 15:19

Hello everyone, hope you are all ok Smile

Very jealous of those of you planning a skiing trip... Envy

CD10 here and DH working from home today so thought I would jump on him to start the dtd eod marathon!! Wink Annoyed that I had yet another disturbed nights sleep last night so not sure if temp is very reliable this morning and plus I completely forgot to keep my fmu for Clearblue opk so will have to start them tomorrow morning....grrrrr! But at least we dtd anyway!

Hair just out of curiosity regarding soy, what days are you advised to take it if not from day 1 then? Is it true it can make you produce immature eggs?

Tarka I have lots of sympathy for your situation when DH will be away right at fertile time. My DH job takes him into the field so we never know when he may have to leave at short notice...fx crossed it works out for you

Welcome Rhiannon and Victoria

PurdeyBirdie · 22/01/2015 15:43

Aww, MaMa, you sound so disheartened. Big squeeze to you. I just wanted to say you are moving in the right direction with all these tests. Please hold on tight and try to stay just a little bit positive Thanks

Thank you to the lovely Twinkletoes for such a kind welcome!

I am officially on t'bus for February. Seventh month of ttc coming up and I swear I will be drowning in spunk spermz by CD18

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/01/2015 16:11

If you are drowning in it purdey you may be using the wrong hole.

Sweets27 · 22/01/2015 16:13

groan!

RhiannonElward · 22/01/2015 16:42

hahaha hairstylist

tessiegirl · 22/01/2015 17:16

Haha!! Grin

PurdeyBirdie · 22/01/2015 17:24

Filthy bitch.

kissinggiraffe · 22/01/2015 17:37

You're definitely doing it wrong purdey !!

I am about to write the most shocking, shameful thing that has ever appeared on mumsnet, but here goes........

Baby #3 is officially a 'fifty shades baby'. There I've said itBlush
However bad those books are they got me in the mood often enough to make a baby . The shame.
oh thinks I should read them again but I just can't bring myself to. Any recommendations for something similar.....

kissinggiraffe · 22/01/2015 17:38

ps. I completely understand if I need to be kicked off the bus after that confessionWink

mummyofonesofar · 22/01/2015 17:38

Brill! GrinWink

nightandthelight · 22/01/2015 17:40

Sorry kissing but that is going too far, talking about cm and af is fine but mentioning a bestselling book, just not acceptable :p pretty sure there is very little that could shock us ladies :)

mummyofonesofar · 22/01/2015 17:40

kissing read Sylvia Day's trilogy. Brilliant reading in the same genre Wink I might even go so far as to say they are better than 50 shades!!

PurdeyBirdie · 22/01/2015 18:50

Giraffe, you are plainly a filthbag and I would never ever be able to advise you regarding the über-filthy 'Stories and Pics' section of Literotica.com

Rainy34 · 22/01/2015 19:47

Mumofonesofar, i am hoping this time next year we have our little babies in our arms, I think once i get into the pattern of temping il will be ok

kissinggiraffe · 22/01/2015 20:21

ah so glad you've not disowned me. Over in aibu fifty shades is an actual sin!!

ibeka · 22/01/2015 20:29

Positive OPK - yay! Only trouble is.... Poor DP is a bit shagged out... better dig out the fancy pants!!!
