Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

DH came home to find me eating capers straight out of the jar and promptly informed me that I was pg due to his 'super' sperm. Don't have the heart to tell him I just really like capers :s

Haha bless him! Mine said that at Christmas when I was eating pickles red cabbage from the jar!

On a side not have been congratulated on my sexy talk after sending him a text about cycle days, ovulation and CM must remember not to do that on ov week!

haha mummy I do think us ladies develop a resistance to disgusting talk of CM, if I dared to mention the consistency of my discharge to dp he'd actually throw up on his lap.

Yeah he told me it wasn't sexy at all. Oops! Also told him if I have a water birth and I poop when I push them he has to scoop it out. Haha! Just love seeing his face drop!

Hello diamond, I've never posted either until this bus - it seems a friendly place!

Interesting to see all the comments about how much to tell DPs. It's so hard to get the balance between keeping them in the loop/on board and them thinking you've gone crazy!! My OH knows I'm temping but nothing about OPKs or CM. It's easy for them though, all they have to do all month is get their end away!! Imagine if it was them that had the 'fertile window'?!?

On the topic of OPKs - I've had EWCM for three days now but -ve OPKs. Does the fact that I can't possibly hold a wee for two hours and that I don't get home to test until 7-8pm matter? Does a -ve OPK mean I won't ov? Any advice welcomed!

We can't really get away with not telling them about temping when the alarms going off 7 days a week! He is very tolerant of my already craziness though I'm only about to start my full cycle ttc. I'm charting Cm, temping, researching and teaching him all the time.

Sat down with a printed calendar and worked out potential due dates with him. He understands the whole 2 weeks pregnant but 4 weeks counted by Drs. He is probably thinking I've lost the plot enjoying most of it I think.

You're right about the temping, mummy. My routine body clock waked me for a pee at 6.30 am every day so I don't need to set an alarm, but my thermometer beeps really loudly!!!

I know he is interested, because he was asking last night about how I know when we're 'good to go' and then how/when will I know if I'm pg and then how long it is before it's 'safe' to tell others. But he's very chilled out about it all whereas I am a perpetual worrier so I don't want him to think I'm losing the plot worrying too much.

Anyone else know about OPKs?

I was doing so well looking like a normal person to dh whilst secretly planning DTD at the 'right' times and monitoring CM without him knowing.

Until a week and a half ago when AF arrived when I was absolutely convinced she wouldn't and I promptly broke down crying on him wailing that I am infertile and if he wants to leave me for someone who can provide an offspring I'd understand I was only on cycle 2. Good job he loves me despite the hormonal crazy

mummy you've got your DH well trained. Mine thinks babies are delivered by storks. As for EWCM, temping and OPKs - he'd pass out if he knew what I was getting up to.

ibk Re OPKs. I did have one month just like you describe but think perhaps I just missed the surge. Not sure there is any way of knowing if you actually ov though.

Must start eating better. Am eating junk food at work and not drinking enough (of the right stuff).

I've come on to say I'm departing the bus now. DH has decided he doesn't want a no 4. I'm hugely upset it's hard to think ds3 is my last now.

It's my birthday today and af is due this evening so I'll probably be a crying mess later. Good luck to you all. I will keep watching the thread. I really hope to see lots of sticky BFPs. Extra luck to those that are having a long journey but I'm sure I'll be on here congratulating you all soon.

Ibk - I only just found out this cycle that you are meant to 'hold on' before using opks. It doesn't seem to matter though as I've had very accurate results (I temp as well so know exactly when I ov) even when I've 'been' an hour or so before.

FF just confirmed 3dpo for me, yawn!
