Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

CoffeeTwo, 31, ttc #2, cycle 6, BFP due 10th February.

So sorry to read about sparkly. Hope she is resting well. Sad

BabyBumpHopeful · 19/01/2015 15:53

Alright ladies, talk me down from crazy town... I'm pretty sure I ovulated on the 13th and now I've convinced myself that implantation occurred yesterday because I had some period-like cramping in my uterus, lasting a couple of hours.

My other symptoms have been:

  • copious amounts of watery CM (this has never happened to me before, this has been going on for days)
  • nausea (only on 16th)
  • painful bloating for several days
  • burpy and windy
  • uterus felt heavy this morning

So this could all be explained away as:

  1. Sickness;
  2. reaction to the prenatals I started on the 10th;
  3. Pregnancy; or
  4. I'm a crazy lady.

So yep.. I'm going to test about a week from now where HCG should be high enough (if I am pregnant) but continue to DTD EOD just in case. I'm on the seating plan on the 7th because that's when my app says I'm sure, but I'm pretty sure it's lying because I didn't have a period in Nov, just one in Dec and I think that threw the guesstimates off.

I'm not sure how I'm going to react if this is all in my mind... there are so many things telling me we did good this month, but then if we weren't trying what would I think these things were? Ugh!

mummyofonesofar · 19/01/2015 16:05

Can't help here! I have been known to convince myself I'm pregnant when not TTC and with an implant in! (Because I wanted to be) what a waste of PAOSs that was!

nightandthelight · 19/01/2015 16:36

baby bump I really wouldn't worry. Even though I had my coil out a week after ovulation would have taken place I am still having to fight to convince myself I am not pg.

All based on the lack of pre AF symptoms (AF isn't even late yet), some twinges in my pelvis and an occasional feeling of nausea. The twinges are probably due to my increased muscle from my running app and the nausea from me trying to eat more healthily so being hungrier than usual but no my brain keeps trying to think I am pg!

Therefore I don't think that you are remotely crazy. You have at least been TTC so are in with a good shot unlike me! :)

BabyBumpHopeful · 19/01/2015 18:10

Thanks ladies. I'm going to try really really hard to hold off at least until this Friday. I do have some IC's so it wouldn't be a total waste of a stick... Grr!

Sweets27 · 19/01/2015 18:15

Babybump, very exciting but potentially crazy - don't get your hopes up too much!

That said, from what I've seen/heard/read it does sound as though it could well be implantation. Alternatively, it could be that you've actually ovulated later than expected, which would explain the watery CM and cramps. If it's ovulation, definitely carry on DTD!

Possibly very exciting news, though... fingers tightly crossed!

I am due around same time as you (6 Feb) but still not ovulated yet according to my OPK kits, which is getting tedious. I really hope it happens soon, so I can get DTD and then get testing on 6 Feb!

mummyofonesofar · 19/01/2015 18:21

How is everyone tonight. I'm sat in a pub by the fire drinking my one and only coffee of the day with a book after dropping DS at beavers. Must enjoy these quiet times before the madness of 2 DC ruling my evenings haha GrinGrin

nightandthelight · 19/01/2015 18:22

I'm watching Call the Midwife :)

mummyofonesofar · 19/01/2015 18:35

Lovely!

jss84 · 19/01/2015 19:27

I'm on CD 11, started DTD on Friday and planning on every other day, possibly upping our game when the OPK test comes back positive, hopefully in a couple of days! Is anyone using digital OPKs? Thought they might be easier than trying to decipher how dark the test line is on the other one, but we'll see! Already not looking forward to the TWW..i am going to be a nightmare...patience is not my strong point!

ibk1983 · 19/01/2015 19:37

I went to my niece's 'Frozen' themed 5th birthday yesterday - not sure I want kids any more!!! Wink

Getting obscenely excited about EWCM and trying hard not to tell OH about it - that's surely not attractive?!

night I did the same immediately after coming off the pill so can empathise with that! I was so convinced I was PG because of ridiculous over symptom-spotting I was quite indignant when I POAS and got a BFN.

babybump I hope you're craziness turns out not to be craziness!!

QueenofKelsingra · 19/01/2015 19:39

good luck kissing hope it happens for you. we fell first month with both previous pregnancies so I'm already feeling impatient this time!

babybump that sounds cautiously hopeful? fingers crossed.

I am ignoring any twinges I may be feeling, I do not want to get myself worked up for nothing. plus DC1 is running a fever of 102 so that is keeping me occupied for now and keeping my mind off the tww (and the achey pain in my lower abdomen)

I'm feeling a bit under the weather so I will focus on that being the reason for any 'symptoms' to stop myself getting carried away.

good luck to those just starting the DTD marathon for this month!

HairStylistToBoris · 19/01/2015 19:45

So CD 4 here, last month I ovulated on CD 6 but this month things seem back to normal. Thank goodness. Im hoping for a more regular cycle this month.

ibk cervical mucus is never a great chat up line :)

Is anyone on pregnacare? I've just started taking it this cycle and I think it's making me feel nauseous. Does anyone know if that's normal?!

nightandthelight · 19/01/2015 19:49

hair I have been told that it causes nausea if not taken with the main meal of the day, when are you taking yours?

ibk glad I'm not the only one! Have just done some internet research and it seems that removal of the coil does often delay AF despite the lack of hormones :( guess I just have to wait it out!

Hairstylisttoboris · 19/01/2015 20:00

night thank you. I'm taking it in the evening with my dinner. Maybe I just have a low tolerance.

nightandthelight · 19/01/2015 20:02

Have you tried some of the others hair? Seven Seas or Boots own brand? You might be able to tolerate those better :)

Rainy34 · 19/01/2015 20:15

I took Pregnacare in June for a month and it made me feel really sick, but i have started taking them on the start of January and so far so good, i take them just before i eat my breakfast !!!

Hairstylisttoboris · 19/01/2015 20:15

night thanks I've only been taking folic acid up to now but I have short cycles and wondered if pregnancare could lengther them. I might try a different brand.

mummyofonesofar · 19/01/2015 21:18

I'm on pregnacare was on seven seas but pregnacare was on offer so I switched! 2 weeks in, did feel a bit sicky to start with but fine now.

jss84 · 19/01/2015 21:32

I didn't know pregnacare was supposed to lengthen cycles..anyone know why?

Cariad2014 · 19/01/2015 21:41

Yay MrsGingerbread - do come sit with me! A Valentine's day BFP would be AMAZING. Grin

mummyofonesofar · 19/01/2015 21:45

I don't want longer cycles. Must get leaflet out of box!!

Boosk · 19/01/2015 22:02

cariad and MrsGingerbread can't believe we've effectively got a poas booked in already, fx we ov at the right time Smile

Cariad2014 · 19/01/2015 22:36

Indeed Boosk. I'm going to a wedding on Valentine's day so it would be negligent of me not to POAS beforehand! Grin
