Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

Hope everyone has had a nice weekend, I've worked most of it Shock.

Well DP had a change of heart last night, walked into the bedroom and announced it was time for sex, then started singing about making babies! We've also pencilled in for tomorrow night. Grin.

Not much else to report here, still getting ewcm so have no idea why I got the positive (ish) opk on Thursday, gonna test for the next few days to see what happens. No idea if I've already ov'd or not!

Hello, hope you don't mind me hopping on the bus. DP and I decided last night that the time is ready to TTC #2. Did some maths and have just missed my Jan cycle so going to really go for it in February. Last time took a few months so I'm trying to be realistic in my expectations and just have fun for a while. I'm sure I'll be a bag of nerves when it's time to POAS in a few weeks though!

2 weeks before my fertile window here.... The wait is awful - though I am sure not as awful as the 2ww when we get around to it!!

It is a nightmare night, and because we are going to be DTD EOD for 2-3 weeks our sexlife seems to have dried up while DP "saves his energy" which is making the wait even longer. Sorry - TMI!

I don't think there is any such thing as tmi on MN! It is an absolutely nightmare definitely. Have been analysing every twinge my body makes to see if it's a sign that AF is coming and because I haven't had my normal symptoms have driven DH crazy stressing that it is going to be late even though it is only due today and isn't technically late till the end of Weds. Think he might kill me if it does arrive today after all :s

Morning lovely ladies,

I'm jumping aboard the Feb bus as Af greeted me this morning. I knew she was coming yesterday so I'd already done my wallowing and self pity. Now it's onwards and upwards...

So onto cycle 6, wow I can't believe it's coming up to 6mths! Bfp due Friday 13th so here's hoping it's lucky 13 for me Grin

Stats are Blue500, 32, ttc#1, cycle 6, bfp due 13th feb

So what's going on around here then...

Morning all and welcome to the new ladies!

Have to say, I am getting anxious. This is the first month of TTC for me, but I came off the pill a couple of months ago and started tracking ovulation with OPK sticks my cycles went from 24 to 26 to 28 days, and last month I ov'd on day 8 of cycle. This month I'm on day 10 and have had my 3rd negative OPK in a row. I realise timings may change from month to month, but seeing that empty little circle on the OPK instead of a smiley face is getting me down!

Ahem anyway, enough self-pity and impatience from me. Fingers tightly crossed for all of you due in the coming days Smile night and mummy, hope AF arrives and you can get to work soon. Know what you mean re having a dry spell to 'save energy' for the right days...

Morning ladies!
CD7 here so warned DH that we shall be commencing dtd eod from this week...he just laughs and says he can't wait to impregnate me! Bless him Wink I had planned to start taking temp from this morning after AF break but couldn't as had a disturbed night partly down to me talking in my sleep to DH Blush and the cat waking us up early! Annoying!

Hope AF arrives today for you night and you can get on with things.

Mine is surprisingly on board - I was worried he'd be uncomfortable with DTD to get pregnant, or find it a turn off or something. Turns out he is really excitable and keeps asking me if I "feel pregnant yet" after we do it - bless... Haven't the heart to tell him it's likely to be a long slow journey...

DP is ready to go. I was worried we would have fullmast issues as he has previously said that he doesn't like the idea of pregnancy sex. So thought he would struggle with TTC sex. But he can't wait to "pump me full of sperm" so romantic!! Think I have also convinced him that pregnancy sex is normal.

Haha, how lovely for you mummy, my dp is bearing up well under the pressure of ttc but it is only month 1 of trying properly. For now I am just trying to keep it fun and silly as I'm not good at being sexy without my tongue firmly planted in my cheek. It's a lot of pressure but he's rising to the challenge in more ways than one.

Funny, isn't it mummy and Rhiannon - seems these men are much happier about TTC than we'd have thought! I guess you are probably right though, Rhiannon, and while month 1 might be exciting, after a few months I can imagine my DH (both of us, really) starting to find it a bit of a chore. Let's hope we can keep it fun...

night dp said that too, especially as my sex drive was through the floor on my first pregnancy (proper first time mother over-protectiveness and stress), and I had complete previa on my second so was on on pelvic rest from 20 weeks. He's dtd every time like it could be his last chance for a year. We will get bored though, surely that's bound to happen if we don't conceive within a few months. I just hope we deal with that.

Hi everyone, thanks for the warm welcome!

I've been a bit quiet on the buses lately, partly to stop obsession and partly because they get a lot quieter towards the end of the month. I
promise to be a lot louder this month. :)

Lots of broken nights made my temping less reliable this month. Still, according to clearblue I ovulated earlier than normal - so I still got a good lp - around 12 days I think :) Amazing increase from the 9 it was before.

Oh, no af present this time - I am dieting so instead I am having 'get skinny' presents. Which is good as they will help with ttc and you can get them every week! :) Two pounds lost today, so Jimmy Carr dvd on the way from Amazon. :)

queen we are also giving it 6 months ( from now) then dp is getting the snip we are going to stop. DC 3 took almost 2 years to conceive so I'm not too hopeful that it will happen within the next 6 months but I really can't cope with trying indefinitely. If it happens, fantastic. If not, then I know I'm incredibly blessed to have 3 beautiful dcs.

CD 5 here and af has almost gone. Wanting to start dtd on weds as it's dps birthday! ! We are then going to try for every 3rd day (dependant on toddler sleeping long enough to get the job done!!)
