Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

CoffeeTwo, 31, ttc #2, cycle 6, BFP due 10th February.

No of course it's not silly, it's based on the experience of people you know and I think it is normal among everyone to be worried about mc, I certainly am!

Fx crossed though that nothing like that will affect you and everything will go swimmingly (same for everyone on the bus obviously!) :)

QueenofKelsingra · 16/01/2015 12:56

sweets that is perfectly sensible and is in fact the recommended thing to do for exactly that reason. however knowing this and being able to resist testing are 2 very different things - as I established when I wasted about 5 tests last cycle!!

good luck!!

nightandthelight · 16/01/2015 12:58

Yes sweets exactly what Queen said, I wasn't trying to suggest that you shouldn't wait to test, just that I admire your willpower!

HairStylistToBoris · 16/01/2015 13:05

Please can I have a ticket to board the bus? Got booted off the jan bus by a shocking short cycle. A comfortable seat would be good whilst af is still making me feel crap.

I'm HairStylistToBoris, 36, Ttc #1, cycle 8 bfp due feb 9th.

My resolutions for this cycle are to take pregnacare to try to lengthen cycle, cut out alcohol and caffine and generally sort my health out, and register with a doctor.... I will make it work.....

Sweets27 · 16/01/2015 13:11

Thanks all! Let's see how much willpower I actually have when the time comes!

HairStylist, welcome aboard from someone who's only just joined a few mins before you :) fingers crossed for you. I'm trying to massively reduce alcohol and caffeine intake, but struggling to wean myself off it completely...

Hairstylisttoboris · 16/01/2015 13:30

Thank you sweets I'm currently substituting my lunch time Starbucks with a herbal tea tastes like cat piss it had better be worth it :)

Twinkletoes007 · 16/01/2015 13:43

BabyBump - thanks for adding me to this list.

Ibk - happy birthday! I see that we are cycle twins!

Happy Friday everyone. This has been a long week - can't wait for a big drink. I hadn't planned to give up the odd glass or two of wine until get the BFP but maybe I will revise that if things look like they're going to take a while. What is everyone else doing?

RubyReins · 16/01/2015 13:51

After my BFN this morning I am of the view that a few glasses of something won't hurt and will make me feel a bit better - I have cut out drinking during the week and only have a couple on the weekend now.

mummyofonesofar · 16/01/2015 14:35

I have mostly cut out alcohol though I did fail and had two glasses at the weekend but back on the wagon again now until a dinner date with friends on 26/1 which I think a few would be ok. Hoping for a BFP on 19/2 so that is before any other events where I would normally drink.

sweets you're not the only one struggling, I am also trying to cut down on caffeine was drinking 3 coffees and 2/3 teas a day. So far today 2 coffees only and have now switched to water. I used to drink alot of hot water with a slice of lemon which is boring but not gross isn't too bad.

Am also taking pregnacare religiously now. Just need to up my exercise now....

Sweets27 · 16/01/2015 15:38

mummyofone, I'm glad I'm not the only one! I often (used to) drink 4 or 5 cups of pretty strong coffee every day, and am now just about managing 1 cup first thing in the morning, and only tea during the rest of the day. I'll soon be trying to swap the teas for hot water and lemon - agree that's not too bad.

Twinkletoes, I think the odd glass or two of wine is OK! I'm kind of taking the view that between ovulation and BFP due date I'll try to cut it out completely (maybe a glass or two), as that's the time when I might be trying to hold onto a little bean - but between BFN and next ovulation, I may as well have a glass or two, and a cup or two of coffee, given that at that point I'll know there's no bean. Obviously keeping it to a minimum to keep healthy, but I think there's a difference between those two periods.

BlueElephant30 · 16/01/2015 16:34

Hi Ladies,

I've been lurking for a while but would like to grab a seat please :)

Stats...
28 DH 28 TTC #1 cycle 2 BFP due 3-4 Feb

I came off the pill (yasmin) at the beginning of December and AF arrived 30 days later. According to Ovia my fertile period starts tomorrow so heres to a weekend of DTD!!

I've also joined a study and they've given me a CB advanced digital monitor... need to start using that CD1-4 so I missed the boat this month! FX I won't need to use it next month!!

Baby dust to you all!!! :)

mummyofonesofar · 16/01/2015 18:06

Baby dust to you also, and welcome ! Smile

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/01/2015 19:47

Well DH has now decided not only was he too tired ttc but that he now isn't sure if he wants to ttc as he found the children difficult over Christmas. So I may be out this month too before I've even started Sad

mummyofonesofar · 16/01/2015 19:52

Oh no beautician! Sorry to hear that. I'm sure you can change his mind back Wink

How old are your DC?

kissinggiraffe · 16/01/2015 20:33

Hi guys, I'm going to hop on and warm up a seat. AF arrived yesterday kicking me off Jan bus.

I've been having a wobble over whether or not another baby is the right thing so to be honest haven't really been trying too hard for the last couple of months. I know I want another baby but I think I'm slightly nervous about it so trying to convince myself I don't want another. If that makes sense......

From here on in I'm going to give it my all. If we don't conceive within 6 months we are going to stop. so fingers very tightly crossed.

Stats: kissinggiraffe 35, ttc #4, cycle 4

kissinggiraffe · 16/01/2015 20:39

beautician hopefully you're oh is being like me and having a nervous moment but will realise it is what he really wants. .... If I remember correctly it will be #4 for you too?? That is pretty scary stuff! It must be very frustrating for you though.

From our past experiences eod is too often for us!! We start off well then burn out, probably before ovulation! I don't temp, chart or use opks.

I think we're going for every third day this cycle. See if we can keep that going.......

kissinggiraffe · 16/01/2015 20:41

Oh I'm so sorry, over - posting but......af/bfp due 12 febGrin

mummyofonesofar · 16/01/2015 20:58

Hi kissingg I over post too. But it's all so exciting. Good luck ttc #4 - brave! Every third day seems reasonable too. Smile

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/01/2015 22:10

Kissing & mummyofone yes it would be our number 4. We already have ds1 aged 10,ds2 8 and ds3 20 months. Ds1 & 2 are from a previous relationship. DH will have to sort out the contraception if he wants to use it so we will see.

Quietlyhopeful81 · 16/01/2015 22:13

Hey all!

Hopping hopefully aboard the February bus. CD 2 here, and going to give soy a try this month. We are on our last 3 months ttc before we take a year's break in prep for our wedding next May, so got everything crossed for a bfp before then.

Stats are:

Quietlyhopeful81, ttc #2, cycle 6, bfp due approx 15th Feb.

Good luck all!

Cariad2014 · 17/01/2015 00:49

AF has just arrived (as predicted). Will read back tomorrow. Stats are as follows:

Cariad2014, 32, ttc#1 Cycle 8, BFP due 14 February.

BabyBumpHopeful · 17/01/2015 02:33

I see from the Jan bus that Sparkly may not be joining us on this bus but I'll leave her in the list until we know for sure :)

I've been feeling pretty seedy today. Way too early of course but it's definitely making me feel even MORE excited!!

Hope everyone else is doing well :D

mummyofonesofar · 17/01/2015 08:53
