AF arrived this morning, CD34. Probably won't be a +ive november for me either as DH is going away for 2 months sometime later this month, so he probably won't be here for my fertile window, but ya never know (in the army the dates for things change all the time, so gotta keep hoping). Will keep using my Persona this month just in case we can fit one or two BDs in at the right time.

hi girls - congrats to those with bfp's and hang on in there to those waiting

sorry to be straight into the me's but i feel so sick. it's been around for days now - but timing doesn't make sense, last af was 30 oct (light and 3 days late) - bd'd from cd9 of month before that, and twice so far this month, one on cd6, once y/day.

short of a miraculous cycle, someone pls tell me there is a bug going round. is only answer.. the nausea is escalating each day, so it's now most of the day, and my mouth feels sort of 'hamster like' (?) you know, swollen on each side with what i think is metallic but that could be the muller corner yogurt (leave an aftertaste dont they)..

help! i know that we all wishful think but this is odd.. and i've got af cramps like majorly but then that could be ovulation couldnt it. watery cm but again, could be ewcm.

am now totally confused by mother nature and feel bleugh

FemaleoftheSpecies · 13/11/2006 18:48

oh and nipples like i've never had. mine are hardly ever 'to the point' and they're just big.

if not a bug this must be some odd hormone imbalance.

FemaleoftheSpecies · 13/11/2006 18:49

sorry me again (self obsessed person). thought i shoudl point out that i've tested! bfn. of course! aahhhhhh!

mrs mc j hope dh's back isnt too painful and that you guys are as okay as can be

babydust to everyone else ! sorry to go on about me so!

RachelRose · 13/11/2006 19:13

Oh Female - thats really wierd. Is your AF normally so light? Do you know when you OV'd? It does sound like PG signs doesn't it - but AF is strange. If it carries on over the next few days, maybe you should pop to the doctor and ask them to check you out - they could do a blood test which would confirm things.

Hope things get better for you soon!!

ready4motherhood · 13/11/2006 19:35

Female - Have you done a hpt??? all your symptoms sound promising!! Keep us posted!!

FemaleoftheSpecies · 13/11/2006 19:46

yep have tested bfn's on tesco's

tks rr and ready - really feel grim but tummy is grumbling so imagine it's a bug or something

been googling but as usual im spouting too many what ifs

ready4motherhood · 13/11/2006 20:07

I would say a trip to your GP sounds like the best bet then!! Cos you will be stressing about it otherwise, which may affect ovulation, and you don't want that!! And if you are pregnant then wooooo hoooo! Let us know how you get on. Thinking of you.

greedyguzzler · 13/11/2006 20:23

female - all sounds very strange.without wanting to sound negative and really mean, if you have tested a few times and you are well into your next cycle then you prob arent pg. the sickness is probably a bug like you said, but going to the docs will make you feel better and put your mind at ease so you can concentrate on this months BDing. lets hope the tests and me are completely wrong, but i reckon the docs is your best bet to put your mind at rest ( but i am sure you already know that!)

what cd are you on this cycle? you and i could get our nov BFPs at the same time!!!!!! now hows that for positive thinking

bubble78 · 13/11/2006 20:26

hi greedy been ttc since august i already have a son he is nearly 4 also has asd { hence the big age gap before second child} it took alot of discussing to go ahead and try for another but we just decided to go for it so hoping this month is a BFP before i change my mind yet again. sorry if that rambled on a bit

think i will test again morning as if im right first wee of the day is the best is that right?

greedyguzzler · 13/11/2006 20:43

first wee def best. very concentrated human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) levels.....sorry....just showing off....used to work in a pathology lab in my youth testing for it amongst other things!
ASD....wow that must be tough. another baby will be hard too, but in a good way, i think number 2 brings so much to a family, dont change your mind........dont think you have much choice by the sound of it! cant wait to log on tomorrow and hear about you and RR!
good luck!
hello anyone else!

bubble78 · 13/11/2006 20:51

it is tough but also rewarding hes a little love

yes i will test again in the morning i think hopefully it should be strong enough by then to show up i will be 2 days late then if not i will buy some of those cheap ones of ebay as bodkin recomended

Bodkin · 14/11/2006 08:23

What, nobody else up yet? Thought you'd (bubble and Rachelrose) have been up at the crack of dawn peeing on sticks and letting us know

Female - all sounds very confusing. And hey, if you can't come on here and get second opinions on symptoms where can you, so don't worry about going on. Think a trip to GP is on the cards if things haven't changed today.

Good luck for Friday Firstar!

Greedy - another classic. Had me snorting tea all over the place. Fingers crossed for you.

MrsMc - don't worry, I'll keep lurking and popping in to see how you're all getting on. Missing you guys too much already.

greedyguzzler · 14/11/2006 09:07

they HAVE been up since the crack of dawn peeing on sticks and they are now skipping around singing 'we did it, we did it, we did it, yeah!' (dora style) sorry....my ds is into dora in a big way! anyway, they have forgotten all about us saddos on here now!
any morning sickness yet bodders?
how are you feeling this morning female?
i have nothing to report, not even a +ve opk or any BDing stories. told DH he didnt need to bother last night and he said "oh right! i'll put my pants back on then shall i?"
i know it sounds like we arent trying very hard, but i just wasnt in the mood and im expecting my +ve opk today so didnt want him to peak too soon.
nothing witty today im afraid bodkin (my god...the pressure to be funny is too much.....i might not be posting for a while, til i think up a funny story!)
rr bubble.....let us know

bubble78 · 14/11/2006 09:16

well girls ive just peeded on a stick as you put it and it was BFP well the line was faint but a lines a line

not really sure how i feel now sounds stupid i know should be over the moon so why do i feel so numb

greedyguzzler · 14/11/2006 09:25

its just shock! when we were ttc for no. 2 i was so desperate to get a bfp and when we got one first month i was like 'OMG what have we done, how will i cope!' it will soon sink in and you will be skipping about before you know it!!!!!
congratulations!!!!!!!!

bubble78 · 14/11/2006 09:27

Hi everyone, I've just taken my head out of the sand for 5 mins to let you all know that I haven't tested yet.

{Explanation coming up...} A few weeks ago, my DH's company sold off a big part to a competitor and it will definately affect my DH's job but not directly - as in he wont be TUPE'd over to the other company. He'll be told by xmas what will be happening to his department. Anyway, to cut a long story short, he started talking about it last night and I hadn't realised how worried he was...

So, if i test and its a BFP then I'll have to tell him and I know he'll worry about money etc... Also am nervous about testing as all my symptoms have gone - no sickness, no sore boobs. Temp still up this morning though at 36.9. And no AF.

I'll just pop my head back in the sand for a few more hours.

MrsMcJnr · 14/11/2006 10:32

Bubble - yeah! congratulations! Tell us how it was done chick?

RachelRose - I really, really feel for you and if I can help in anyway, give me a buzz .

Greedy - that pants comment was hilarious! thank you . DH saw physio yesterday. He told him there was nothing that he or an oestopath or chiropractor could do and that he should take the op if it is offered. All strikes me as odd that neither the Consultant or Physio have actually examined his back. He has the MRI on Friday so I guess we'll have a much better idea then.

Female - poor you think you need to see the Dr.

Babydust to the rest of the Nov ladies and will be especially thinking of you Firststar.

Bodkin · 14/11/2006 10:44

That's great Bubble! Chuffed to bits for you. If it still hasn't sunk in yet, don't worry, it will. Enjoy the moment! I did a further 3 tests until I got a nice juicy fat line, and then I started to accept it. Come and join us on the antenatal thread when you feel ready. I'm sure the lovely November ladies will be pleased to have you on here as well for as long as you need.

RR - Poor you, you must be in turmoil [sympathetic emoticon]

Greedy - sorry, no pressure. Have only just finished cleaning all the tea off the 'pooter anyway...

greedyguzzler · 14/11/2006 11:05

mrsmcjnr - when you say they havent examined his back what do you mean? they must have at least checked reflexes, muscle strength, lifted his legs in the air etc... otherwise how could they possibly know anything? i guess the MRI will let you know and his symptoms must be pretty bad for them to say there is nothing they would be able to do. hope his mri goes ok. he's not claustrophobic is he?

RR- poor you. i feel for you. sometimes it is easier not to know things and then you dont have to deal with them. i guess you really know anyway dont you, but until you confirm it you dont need to deal with it. i never had any pg symptoms until at least 6 wks either time

to everyone else

ready4motherhood · 14/11/2006 11:06

Bubble - OOOOOOH. How exciting!!! I have to confess a little but only in a good way I promise! So happy for you!!
You don't have to leave the conception board til you are ready but I think there are some November ladies on the ante natal boards. you do what you feel comfy with!!

RachelRose - Hugs. It can't hurt to wait a few days chick!! I am sure DH will be thrilled though, it may even take his mind off his worries?? I know that might sound mental. But if I was worried about something I would love some good news. Test when you are ready!

MrsMc - Fingers crossed for DH and MRI. Hope it doesn't have to be an op, but if it does, try not to worry too much.

Female - I think you need to make a docs appt. Just to put your mind at ease more than anything else.

RachelRose · 14/11/2006 12:07

So.... I gave in and tested - Used a £8 clear blue one and got a BFN, but the line didn't appear in the control wimdow either. So basically I think I've messed it up But even so, I shouldn't be getting a BFN a day after AF has been due should I? Unless I'm out with when I think I OV'd. (Am on CD33 and thought I OV'd on CD17) Like I said though the symptoms I've had for about 3 days have gone.

Think I'll pop my chart on the chartspotters thread for an opinion.
