AF arrived this morning, CD34. Probably won't be a +ive november for me either as DH is going away for 2 months sometime later this month, so he probably won't be here for my fertile window, but ya never know (in the army the dates for things change all the time, so gotta keep hoping). Will keep using my Persona this month just in case we can fit one or two BDs in at the right time.

Thanks Bodkin - yes, first thing this morning. Was embarrassingly tearful at work for a few minutes, but am beginning to feel more positive again now. Knew it was coming, but still had that sliver of hope...

Never mind, December is another month. Might not be quite so puritanical about booze next month - vodka in my grapefruit juice, a la MrsMc

Ok I have been lurking but not posting but with Af due over next couple of days (I think - not an exact science following M/C) I am driving myself quite cuckoo. Have had sore boobs, headaches and slightly odd taste in mouth. Occaisional pangs of nausea too. And yet I would be so lucky for it to happen again. I have brought tests (buy one get one free on first response in boots at the mo btw!) but only used cheap rubbish ebay ones last night - after a glass or two of bubbly - DS turned two yesterday so we were celebrating. I am going to wait untill saturday, but I am so annoyed with myself for building myself up again - as I don't really know when to expect AF and after last month I really wanted to wait untill the end of the month before testing!!! And I only made it till the 8th of Nov before giving in. Right sorry rant over.

So pleased for all of you who have the BFP's I hope you have happy and healthy pregnancies. Good luck to all those still awaiting AF and to those already over on dec trying over again.

RachelRose · 09/11/2006 11:40

Ooh, BFP's all over the place - is that 4 for November so far - Cutiebabies, Kyte, Bodkin and Saf1? Hope I've not missed anyone and congratulations to all of you!!! Summer babies are wonderful

Nixz - whats happening with you now - you had docs appt?

Babymad - Sorry you had a difficult time at the consultants - PLEASE dont feel that you've let anyone down, its a difficult thing you are going through and you must try not to feel stressed. As has been said before - you've got a plan now through to january. Hope you got your phone number changed.

Hi again Flossfawkes - Good luck with 2ww - hope its not sending you too doolally!! I hope your DS had a lovely birthday.

Ready - HI there almost cycle bud... I'm CD27 today of what I think will be a 32 day cycle, so like you I should know soon, although my last AF was a week late (35 day cycle) so I can't be sure. I have ZERO symptoms this month - other months I've been convinced I was pg, but not this one! Am sure I'll be hopping on Santa's sleigh in the December thread. Good luck!!!

Hi everyone else!! Hope you are all looking forward to nice weekends

i am so jealous (i think) of everyone expecting to find out soon if it will be a bfp or not. at least once you know you can kind of get on with a normal life for a week or so without thinking about it all the time, until next fertile window. i feel like i am wishing my life away, but i am desperate to test again this month ( assuming BDing goes according to plan!)and i am only on cd12!

BDing didnt go according to plan last night!.......my ds woke up screaming from a nightmare straight after dh and i had finished BDing (prob heard us! enough to give anyone nightmares!). so i ran to see him, (clenching all the way!), but it was no good........lots of trickling down my leg i am afraid!!!!! (TMI i know!!) i had planned to lie down with a pillow under my bum for 20 mins, but nevermind! better luck tonight i hope!

Afternoon Ladies.
CD8 today, few more ferns today so entering the fertile stage very soon, temp dropped and some CM this morning all good signs, plus we BDed this morning so fingers crossed! but although all the good sign that ov is gearing up I'm having a bad day, I couldn't stop crying this morning, feel like everything so ageist me, my doctors couldn't do the triple swobs or smear till next month (nurse's off sick). I need the result back from that to be able to have the x-ray (which has to be done between CD7-10)done so at this rate it'll be about 3months+, before I know why! I rang round every FPC and none of them can help me. I had a dam good cry this morning as I had enough , but feel abit better for it, just wondering what's going to happen next! I've made the app for smear and swobs for the 5th of December now, I really am disappointed! But that will mean I cant go for the x-ray, till I get the results back from the smear and triple swobs, so that will make it February time when I can have the x-ray done! Sick of it all just want it over and done with! Long wait ahead But DH said at least it's our son birthday in 2 weeks and Christmas time so the time is more likely to fly by, lets hope so (not forgetting the January sale's ) and not forgetting we might just get a BFP in the mean time, fingers crossed. soz for going on!

RachelRose · 09/11/2006 16:22

Hi Babymad - Your DH is right, with a birthday and xmas coming up soon, it will fly by. And there is no reason why you can't try until then. Good signs for OV as well!!! Good luck.

Hey Firststar - I really have managed to keep sane this month. I think the temping is really helping me. I dont think I OV'd last month, so the fact that my temps tell me I've OV'd this month is a good sign - so even if I dont get a BFP, then I'm happy about that.

Hi Greedy - Sorry could help but at the image of you running into your DS bedroom with 'product' running down your legs! Someone on here did once say she used a tampon to keep the lil fella's up there

How are you doing Ready4motherhood - when do you expect AF?

RachelRose - I am CD26, usually 28 day cycle, give or take. I have been having AF cramps today, letting my know she is on her way and my temperature dropped by 0.2 this morning from 36.57 to 36.37 : ( so I have consigned myself to the fact that I will not be having a July baby!! I have to confess that I am feeling a bit sorry for myself today. I know I shouldn't after only 2 months of ttc, but I feel glum

Fingers crossed for you this month though... there have been a nice amount of BFPs so it would be great to add you to the list!!!

ready4motherhood · 09/11/2006 16:38

RachelRose - almost forgot, I thought you were 2 days ahead of me... have I messed up my temps cos I thought you were CD28???

RachelRose · 09/11/2006 16:49

Oh - I've just re-counted Ready and you are right - I am CD28!!! At least you are on the ball with my cycle So sorry you are having AF cramps... Thanks for the good wishes!

Yeah I would agree Firststar - I thought it would soak it up too - either way, I dont think I'll try it!

ready4motherhood · 09/11/2006 17:13

Oh good cos I was thinking I had written too many temps down.

Babymad2DS · 09/11/2006 17:55

RachelRose and firststar, thanks for your support and lovely words! hope we all get our BFP soon!

Minshu · 09/11/2006 18:22

Babymad - your DH sounds like a rock. He's right, the time will pass quickly enough with birthday, xmas (and January sales) looming before us. Plus, with all the BDing to take your mind off things

Ready - hope you are wrong about AF symptoms.

Good luck to all.

ready4motherhood · 09/11/2006 22:10

Thanks very much Minshu... fingers crossed for you too!!

bubble78 · 09/11/2006 22:46

well im hoping for a BFP

AF due on 3 days so fingers crossed
good luck to you all

cityangel · 10/11/2006 00:12

Hi Bubble and FlossFawkes I'm there with you hoping for BFP too. I have never had one so it's hard to imagine. But I am certainly good at imagining how happy I would be

Firststar my first positive OPK nearly blew me away yesterday as I just don't expect 2 lines at all.

Babymad2ds life is tough and you are very brave. I am so sorry they are messing you about in your area. We are going to the doc in Jan and I am dreading it as we live in a very under funded NHS area. Keep on at them maybe you can join a waiting list if someone above in the list cancels. It Sounds like your dh is v supportive and the time will go quickly with christmas activity

Hi MrsMC and RachelRose Maybe I need to start a separate thread for this one. We are going to the Isle of Mull for New Years with married mates and 5 kids. Any idea on how to make myself attractive for bd whilst wearing thermals with people in the next room!

Quick question. Which OV test brands do they rate over others? and Is it normal to get 2/3 days of positive OPKs?

Big hugs to everyone

RachelRose · 10/11/2006 08:30

Hi Cityangel - I'm sure an OPK expert will come along soon!. I've never had a positive OPK but I understand its OK to get 2 or 3 days worth of positives, but not much more than that. Oh wow, new year on Mull will be lovely - provided you are OK being in a remote place with 5 kids

I reckon you and DP will keep yourselves warm enough without the thermals

Good luck Bubble! My AF is also due in 3 days (from today) - well at least I think it is. Fingers crossed for you

Hey November ladies. I was really ill yesterday with a nasty migraine (I blame work stress ) so stayed in a dark room with no computer and feel fine today - thank god it's Friday . Did miss a day of you guys though!

Everything crossed and all the strongest of baby wishes to all of you hoping AF does not turn up in the next few days, in particular Ready (hope you are wrong about the cramps), Flossfawkes, RachelRose (hello ), Bubble and Cityangel!! Cityangel - Hogmanay on Mull will be lovely, some whisky should get rid of the need for thermals .

Greedyguzzler - can just imagine the scene!

ready4motherhood · 10/11/2006 10:41

MrsMc - Glad you are feeling better! That fresh air works wonders!! The cramps are still with me... so I think that I will be popping onto the December thread in a few days!! oh well.

Good luck to everyone! Fingers crossed for no AF and plenty of BFPs... does anyone know which months get the most BFPs?? Curious, is all.
