AF arrived this morning, CD34. Probably won't be a +ive november for me either as DH is going away for 2 months sometime later this month, so he probably won't be here for my fertile window, but ya never know (in the army the dates for things change all the time, so gotta keep hoping). Will keep using my Persona this month just in case we can fit one or two BDs in at the right time.

Hello ladies, sorry I have not been on to play - having a busy day! Temp stayed the same today so I'm none the wiser, AF due tomorrow, so hope she stays away!!

Hello Endless - sorry you still feel so awful I have been really been thinking about you and what you are going through. Hope work has been ok today. Babydust to you. Any change at all?

Honeyapple - glad to have your positive vibes on here I think adstinence on booze and fags is a tricky one for those you love them! Luckily, neither of us smoke but there is no way I can get DH to give up his beer!

Hello Lovelybird - sorry that AF is on her way . Welcome to November with us though

Babyfettle won't tell you about my 8am Frasers xmas shopping spree then!? Sounds like you have a lot on your plate, hope the move goes well. Thanks for the luck for me

FemaleoftheSpecies · 02/11/2006 15:36

hi and best wishes to all; quick query as manic at work.. but

has anyone had suspect symptoms after 'af' has started?

af came monday night/tuesday morning and its gone.. is always light but i still have 'pre af nipples' and feel bloated and exhausted

i will do a test (just in case) but what is weird is, usually the minute af kicks in with me, my breasts 'change back' to start of cycle appearance - this time they haven't. any thoughts girls? tks v much in advance :-)

MrsMcJnr · 02/11/2006 16:44

I'm back (briefly!) what a busy day for me!

Hello Kyte, hello Rubles - sorry you're not feeling great hope you manage to get the HSG.

Honeyapple - your DP sounds like mine, disaster when he's had too many, it's like looking after a child!! Plus, I can't even mention peeing on a stick, never mind the rest!

Hi Angua - sounds like you are having a frustrating time, hope you get some resolution soon.

Hello Ready - early days yet!! You're right, it is good to have something to think about other than TTC. Have a really scary meeting tomorrow at current work though - AGAIN!

oooohhh hello N&T&B - how are you? thanks so much for coming to visit us? how are you feeling?

Sounding good FirstStar

Hello RachelRose, Sideways and Babymad though I have been talking to you both elsewhere today, didn't want to leave you off the roll call!

odd signs Female - sorry, I can't help with that one!

honeyapple · 02/11/2006 17:02

When i was pregnant with my daughter- was not planned so didnt think about taking pregnancy test early... anyway, i "started my period" a bit late, still not thinking i could be pg. Period lasted a couple of days. Wasn't heavy, but was still more than spotting. But it was my boobs that gave it away. It was a week later that i took a test and it was BFP. so who knows! And i know the time that she was conceived because there was only one occasion of unprotected sex.

honeyapple · 02/11/2006 17:04

And now of course we are having sex all the time and nothing is happening...typical eh!

FemaleoftheSpecies · 02/11/2006 17:36

absolutely typical honeyapple. nice name by the way

greedyguzzler · 02/11/2006 18:26

hello everyone. very excited cos i have never done anything like this before! been on MN or anything similar i mean! i have spent AGES looking through 'hoping for a +ve october' and thn i realised that i should be writing in the nov one, cos i am now on cd 5. its all a bit confusing to me, i thought i knew what i was doing cos i have a ds ( 3.5) and dd(2) already and it was easy both times before.......but not this time! we have been ttc since april and i am very impatient. i had the exact age gaps i wanted planned and stupidly assumed it would just happen! any advice anyone? the cough syrup is a new one i will try!

honeyapple · 02/11/2006 18:44

hi greedyguzzler - you and me both the same- new to this message posting malarchy and both trying for number 3- me too thought it would be no problem at all! So a bit [shock}! Mind you I have only been TTC for a couple of months proper-by that I mean still BDing when not really in the mood. I have biggish age gaps with my offspring already DS8y DD4y.

endlesslove · 02/11/2006 18:49

Good evening ladies

Sorry to Babymad and Rubles for afs. Thinking of you lots. Keep your chins up.xx

AnguaVonUberwald - Heres hoping your af stays away!

Firststar - Keep baby dancing and enjoy it to the max as you may be conceiving!!!

Mrs - Wishing you loads of luck and babydust that af does not arrive tomorrow or the rest of this month or the next 9 months actually!!!

Female - Cannot help with your questions but am very interested to know the answers. Sounds a bit wierd that your (.)(.) have not changed.

Welcome Greedyguzzles.

Hello to everyone else and sorry if I have missed you off. Not intentional. xx

CD32 for me today. BFN again this morning. Have resided to the fact that its not my lucky month for me to get my wish of becoming a mummy. Just waiting and waiting for af to show up. Feel extremely crampy today. Niggly and a little frustrated in the lower tummy area...think thats af working her way to the end!!! Work was not too bad today. Not the best though.

Speak soon and lots and lots of babydust and babywishes to us all xxxxxx

honeyapple · 02/11/2006 19:10

See- i cant get my right first time...
Back to breasts. The major thing for me both pregnancies was the change in my boobs. MUCH more sensitive/fuller and definitely darkened nips. Got a bit paranoid for a while about that one! I didnt have any other noticeable PG signs. I always pee a lot and am knackered... so those are usual signs for me!

greedyguzzler · 02/11/2006 20:29

ooooooooo! i like this people talk to me! thought i had posted another message about an hour ago, but obviously not!!!
honeyapple, have you told many people you are ttc cos i told everyone! and now it is taking a while i am wishing i hadn't! people dont seem to understand that i really want to get pg too and they think cos i already have ds and dd that i am being greedy! we have only been ttc for 3 months proper, i was being a drama queen cos i came off the pill in april. af didnt make an appearance till july though so i had already convinced myself i was pg! have since convinced myself every month and got through about a million pg tests!
what does bfn stand for? i get the negative bit, but the bf?

greedyguzzler - i may be wrong as am new to this but think it means Big Fat negative

Bodkin · 02/11/2006 21:23

Ooooh lots of new people!!!

Hello ConkerTree, GreedyGuzzler, HoneyApple, LovelyBird and BabyFettle - excellent names all round. Feel like changing mine now, but won't as haven't been on that long and will confuse people.

Am desperately trying to keep up with todays developments, but I'm sure I'll forget a few things.

Female - are you testing tomorrow morning? Don't forget to let us know the result(as if you would!)

RachelRose - I just love a pub quiz, me. Rubbish on sport and history, but pop trivia - I am sh*t hot. Are you into the 2ww now?

BabyMad, so sorry about mean old AF turning up. Such a cruel trick of the body to get you all hopeful.

Firststar - sore nips could be ovulation as you're on CD16?

Rubles, sorry to hear about AF. seems to be a lot of that going on... i.e. starting to spot, resigning oneself to the fact that AF is on way, then a day of nothing (hopes start to rise....)then wham, there she is. Expect that is what will happen to me. Started spotting on Tuesday, then some more and darker on Weds, today, nothing much to speak of. Was expecting AF today, but will probably be tomorrow or Sat now, which would fit with my theory that I ov'd on the Saturday.

Hello to everyone else - MrsMcJnr, Endless, Minshu, Ready4, Sideways, Kyte, Angua...did I miss anyone?!

endlesslove · 03/11/2006 08:49

Hello ladies.

Well at last af has arrived. Only slightly spotting before bed last night and they wham big time full force today! So am pleased in a way as I knew it was coming and wanted to get it over and done with so I can look forward to ttc again next month. I will stay on this thread though as I could be very end of November for seeing if I have a BFP.

Just wanted to add though that it appears that I had a chem pregnancy and I wish now that I never tested early. My advice to you is to not test earlier than your af due date. I found it is a lot worse to deal with knowing that you were that one step closer to being a mum. So from now on I will only be testing from af due date so that I wouldn't know if i had a BFP before.

Sorry to go on but just wanted to give some advice.

Babydust to all xxxx

KitKat30 · 03/11/2006 08:54

Hi everyone - can I join this thread too please?! Normally on the 1st cycle 2ww thread, but thought I'd show my face on here as well!

for those who have had AF show up - and will keep fingers crossed for those who are still in the 2ww!

This is our 2nd month of TTC - I dont use temp charts, but I am using the clearblue fertility monitor. Dont think I've ov'd yet this month - but are still BDing like crazy so there's a healthy supply waiting for when/if I do!! Actually, i have a question - which might be TMI...

I know you're supposed to lie still for 20mins after BD, but does it matter what position you lie in? e.g. if you do it doggy style, do you then lie on your stomach for 20mins or roll over onto your back? Or does it make no blooming difference at all!?!?

x

KitKat30 · 03/11/2006 08:56

Hi endless - I had a chemical pg last month too. I know how you feel hon, am right there with you

Natty1806 · 03/11/2006 09:08

Hello

Not been on this thread for a while, has there been any Novmeber BFP's yet - I know we are only 3 days in. x

Also notice no one has set up a December thread yet, does that mean everyone is still waiting?

MrsMcJnr · 03/11/2006 10:12

Morning ladies - My software decided to change my OV date today to a day later and so instead of AF being due today, it is now tomorrow and I'm now 10dpo instead of 11!! What a cheat, it only changed it's mind this morning after I posted my temp (which was the same as yesterday) grr . Anyway, did a cheapy test this morning as AF had not arrived and got BFN - going to ignore my feelings on that and see what happens over the weekend. Don't think I'll test again now until Sunday.

Anyway, other things to worry about today, have a scary meeting at 12.30 with my bosses reckon I am going to get my butt kicked again for no good reason [scared emoticon].

Welcome GreedyGuzzler - just you wait, you'll get hooked to this site before you know it! Good luck with no3! You'll get lots of tips on here of things to try. I have been TTC since June and at first, I was trying most things and now I am at the stage of giving things up instead LOL . We don't think you're greedy wanting a third. Though I am trying for my first, one thing I have really learned from here is that the desire and need for a baby is just the same for all of us whatever number you are on.

Endless - thank you for your wishes for me and hope you get your BFP this cycle, slates are now wiped clean and you have got every chance in the world again. I think your advice is very sage. .

Hello Honeyapple!

Hi Kyte - hope you are wrong about AF. I have been off the pill since the end of June and until very recently, my skin was awful, especially on my forehead and around my jaw, coming off the pill was the only thing I was doing differently so it must have been hormonal. I had a facial yesterday and the beautician (who I have been going to for a year) said she noticed how much better it was and clearly things have settled down or changed hormonally for me in the last few weeks. Hope yours disappear soon too.

Hello Bodkin - Hope AF stays away for you too.

Hey KitKat - FINALLY I find you on here Glad to hear that you are putting in the effort with the BD . The Toni Weshcler book that we've talked about before says that you don't need to do anything extra other than BD but we've noticed on here that alot of those who get BFPs seem to have put their legs up for 20mins or so after BDing so it can't do any harm! I think the favoured position is doggy then flipping over and putting your legs in the air whilst lying on your back!!

MrsMcJnr · 03/11/2006 10:14

Hey Natty - No Nov BFPs yet but think we'll need a part 2 to this thread soon, getting very long!! If I get AF in the next couple of days, I'll be lonely on a December thread

ready4motherhood · 03/11/2006 10:31

Endless... sorry about AF ((hugs)) I think that not testing before AF is a good decision, I definitely won't be testing til a couple of days (will try 5) after AF is due if she doesn't arrive. Good luck next month.

Mrs Mc - Good luck with your meeting and keep us posted on any BFP developments!

Welcome to this thread KitKat30.

Morning everyone else!! Hope all is well.

Emz25 · 03/11/2006 10:58

hi every1.
jst have a question! my af is due tomorrow or sun. i decided to test with first response yesterday, (as you probably know it can be used 4 days before!)
since my 7 day post ov, temp has kept going up. on the test i also had a very very faint line actally u could hardly see it but even so, it was there! if i wasn't pregnant, then there would be no line at all would there, not even the slightest? argh its so frustrating i want to test again today to make sure and see if the line is any clearer today (or non - existent)but i'm scared of wasting the test so i was going to wait till sun morn (if af doesn't arrive in mean time!)what do you think?

hope every1 is ok babydust to all of u!
