AF arrived this morning, CD34. Probably won't be a +ive november for me either as DH is going away for 2 months sometime later this month, so he probably won't be here for my fertile window, but ya never know (in the army the dates for things change all the time, so gotta keep hoping). Will keep using my Persona this month just in case we can fit one or two BDs in at the right time.

Hi all,
I've been posting on the oct thread but haven't been on here much for the past couple of weeks as been v busy with work. Well AF spotting yesterday and today so expecting full flow tomorrow. Felt V down all day yesterday but a bit better today, but still peed off. Been taking my temp all month, and bding at the right time but no result this month. Obviously need to check other symptoms as well.
Good luck to everyone still waiting this month, and hello to you all

babyfettle · 01/11/2006 20:55

Hello - my internet connection was down last night and shouldn't really post during the day at work (although I'm getting scarily addicted again to MN!) - but blimey this thread doesn't half move quickly!!!

Mrs Mc - have to agree with everyone, scary on the Christmas organising

babyfettle · 01/11/2006 20:58

Sorry lovelybird about AF [crossed posts!] Good luck for this month.

I'm attempting CM monitoring this month along with temping, which I normally do - but as we normally BD every other day after AF until a few days past ov anyway, I'm not sure how it is going to help. Grapefruit juice is making an obvious difference though.

Babymad2DS · 01/11/2006 22:18

Sorry bad news AF is here for me, very very very very light but still AF I'll be in full flow tomorrow. Never had a 29 day cycle before! Not really tuck it in yet all my hope gone, I alowed myself to hope today but just turned out that my body played a nasty trick on me, feeling very sick all night, boobs hurting and so hungry, all made me think..........I'm sure that I'll have a cry tomorrow but just off to bed, I knew I would, just had that feeling a hour or two ago that AF would came before I went to bed and it has. At least I have me Hospital appointment next week maybe get some answers as to why it's taking so long for my so longed for 3rd child. Getting upset now so I'm off to get some sleep and to forget for a few hours, soz for going on! Good Luck Ladies!

Minshu · 01/11/2006 22:25

This thread really does move on quickly - sorry I can't keep up with everyone

Rubles - thanks for your post regarding EWCM - reassures me that my body's not "doing it wrong"...

MrsMcJnr - sorry you were not your usual up-beat self this morning. It must be good to feel wanted at work And as for the christmas organisation!!! Just found out that I'll be moving to an office in the city centre soon, so should be able to catch up with some shopping then.

Sideways - sorry about AF. Glad to hear you are positive about the next month.

Babydust to all of you hopeful symptom spotters!!

I don't have too many symptoms to spot this month - boobs hardly tender at all, which is very unusual as AF is due Sunday/Monday. Feeling pre-menstrual in a very hard to describe way. Lower abdomen feels, well, just bleugh... Not painful, no cramps, just kind of hollow. So, that'll be the old hag on her way. At least I'm finding out a good few days before she arrives this month.

Minshu · 01/11/2006 22:28

Sorry about AF, Babymad. Sleep well and I hope that you can start to feel positive again very soon. (hugs)

Babymad, so sorry about your AF. It's crap isn't it. Did she definitely arrive in full force today??
I have just been through very similar - I started spotting on Tuesday then stopped with nothing yesterday all day. This allowed me to get my hopes up then today BAM! she came. Like my body was waiting for me to start hoping, to trick me. Feel really not good today. I should have my HSG next Monday, but because AF was late I will probably still be on the last day of period. That might mean that I'll have to put it off until the following week, CD12, which they may not allow because it is too close to ovulation. I shall have to ask.

By the way, this thread is taking longer and longer to load and we are only on 2nd November!

honeyapple · 02/11/2006 09:38

Hi well, babyfettle, i had a great night sleep as DP fell asleep on the train home and ended up god knows where in a hotel...
Wanted to say hello to babymad- looks like we have same 3rd child desire. I keep seeing pregnant women everywhere. All my neighbours are having babies... AHHHHHHHH
Anyway, i expect to OV about the 12th. Anyone similar?

AnguaVonUberwald · 02/11/2006 09:39

Rubles: Yes, that what what I ate for lunch, - had symptoms of AF really all month, stomach cramps, upset stomach, on and off PMT (and haven't I been a fun person to live with this month). Boobs very tender, and really don't know about ovulation as only just off the contraceptive.

Really wasn't expecting to manage it this month, was hoping for proper AF so I could start properly, but it just keeps not coming, and on the one hand I am hoping we have concieved, and on the other hand, I think we can't possibly and just want the thing to start so that we can get on with it.

Tested this morning, still completely negitive!!

Sorry to hear about your AF Rubles, and good luck with your husband.

Thanks Sidways, I keep hoping, sorry yours arrived.

Thanks MrsMcJnr any news?

thanks to all for posting. I just want SOMETHING to happen now!! - one way or another

AnguaVonUberwald · 02/11/2006 09:40

And thanks for all the replies. I printed out part of the thread to try and reply to all so really sorry if I missed you. Its great to be able to come here and express my frustration.

babydust to all

Babymad2DS · 02/11/2006 10:11

Morning Ladies!
Feel like s* and yes full flow this morning hate it, trying so hard not to cry. Counted this morning how many cycles, this is my 18th cycle of TTC, so trying to stay pos but just not happening!
Hope every one is fine, well and pos!
lots of good luck and babydust, babymadxx

sideways · 02/11/2006 10:39

Hi babymad - my cyclebuddy - so sorry AF has arrived, it's crap isn't it .

rubles - you too

Babymad2DS · 02/11/2006 10:47

Cycle bud's sideways how you getting on?

ready4motherhood · 02/11/2006 10:59

Morning ladies... CD19 for me today, no symptoms to speak of so probably won't get the BFP this month.

BabyMad - Have a good ol' cry if you need it!! Good luck with your tests. Fingers crossed for next cycle!!

Angua - Hang in there!! How about going to see your GP for a chat, and them send away a sample?? At least you would know for sure, and not waste your money on HPTs.

Rubles - Sorry about AF. Good luck with the HSG.

Honeyapple - Welcome. A bit late to say but I wasn't on this thread much yesterday. I like your theory of relaxing more... if only I could do it!!

Sideways & Lovelybird - Hang in there. Fingers crossed for next month!

RachelRose - Willpower pregnancies... that would be tremendous. I will have twins please

Babyfettle - I know what you mean about getting addicted to MN... DH will say "what you looking at?" and I say "mumsnet" knowing full well he will laugh at me. He thinks it's a cult!!

MrsMc - How's it going with your buses (!) is the other one something you would like to do?? Them calling is a good thing!! Being headhunted ... Also, I thought that I was a super organised control freak, you make me look disorganised and lazy

Sorry if I have missed anyone... fingers crossed for lots of BFPs before the end of 2006! Mine included I hope.

Babydust x

Babymad2DS · 02/11/2006 11:06

Hi everyone,

Wow - lots going on! Sorry to those who have got AF. Babymad, at least you have your scan next week so hopefully you'll get some answers.

MrsMc, wow - 2 possible jobs - thats great news. And good to ahve something other than ttc to think about. Any sign of AF? Is it tomorrow its due?

Welcome (belated) honeyapple - is your DP a little sheepish today? At least you were able to stretch out in bed!

Angua - Hope you get answers too soon!

babyfettle - Sorry if I've missed this before, but did i read that right in that your DP has been away for 5 months - If so, you must be SO excited to be seeing him - Is he back tomorrow. Hopefully you'll be OV-ing at the right time too!

CD21 for me - temps still aren't doing anything interesting although a few have said I need a full months worth to look back on. I dont know why but I seem pretty relaxed about ttc this month. I've even forgotten my grapefruit juice in the last week. Not sure if I've OV'd although as I had EWCM for the last 2 days I hope so.

Have got a work's quiz night tonight - Wonder if there'll be "Cervical Mucus" or "pregnancy symptoms" categories - If so I'll do really really well

honeyapple · 02/11/2006 14:37

DP apologetic and slightly bewildered this morning when he finally got home. The other night I started to talk to DP about OV ing and eggs and sperm and timing etc and he didnt want to know... told me it was gross. Anyone else got this problem?

ready4motherhood · 02/11/2006 14:38

RachelRose - have a look at the thread "confused about temps" Cityangel posted some really useful info about temps on there for me, bless her. Good luck with your quiz!! You are a couple of CDs ahead of me, are you 28ish days?? or when is AF due?? Fingers crossed she doesn't arrive!!

babyfettle · 02/11/2006 14:56

Honeyapple - been there, done that - DH many years ago rang me in Bristol from Portsmouth having fallen asleep on the train out of London to Guildford. He wanted me to tell him what to do!!**!! I'm afraid my response at 2am was not very friendly!!!

RachelRose my DH has been away for 19 weeks, so not quite 5 months, although feels that long! He was home for a week, a few weeks ago, but AF arrived the same day he did near enough, so fingers crossed for this month - although we normally argue quite a bit when he's first home, so BDing may not be high on our agenda initially!!! But he's home for the foreseeable future - hurrah!!

Take care all
x
