AF arrived this morning, CD34. Probably won't be a +ive november for me either as DH is going away for 2 months sometime later this month, so he probably won't be here for my fertile window, but ya never know (in the army the dates for things change all the time, so gotta keep hoping). Will keep using my Persona this month just in case we can fit one or two BDs in at the right time.

RachelRose - well it was a "getting to know you better" team session wasn't it?! I'm glad it is not only me who does things like that! I am lousy with a hangover too and am ALWAYS sick! Besides, given where you are in your cycle, the only person suffering from your excesses is you! If it were me, cans of fat girl coke and chocolate would be getting me through the day!

ready4motherhood · 27/10/2006 13:53

RachelRose - Hope your hangover is getting better!! PMSL at your description of events. And intrigued to know what the "embarrassing story" is????
When I said "gliding" that was probably making me sound much more elegant

Firststar - Heehee - Yes, my DH often has that "did I really marry this nutjob??" look on his face

MrsMcJnr - Yes. In for a busy weekend which will be fun!!! Headaches and tiredness are signs of pg from what I have read. So that is promising. Fingers crossed!! Is it ok to take painkillers in the 2ww? I had a terrible headache last month in the 2ww and daren't take anything!! (I think I ask too many questions )

Oh almost forgot - some info about me... I live in Greater Manchester. I'm 27. No pets. Just me and DH.

Hope everyone is having a good Friday.

ready4motherhood · 27/10/2006 13:55

Just read that back and the info about me is a tad random... what was the point of saying I had no pets!!??

Oops. Sorry. But I am a nutjob!

RachelRose · 27/10/2006 14:10

Its all good info Ready! I'm also a 'no pet' person

Well I may as well share the story with you guys too. I think the reason why I mentioned it was because I posted part of the story yesterday so it must have been on my mind. Anyway when I was about 19, an ex-boyfriend and I did a spot of cinematic experimentation - i.e taped ourselvess shagging. As I mentioned yesterday, it was awful watching it back so I swore I'd never do it again. Anyway, after we split he showed the tape to some friends !! It was SO SO embarassing.

But why did I feel the need to share that with new work colleagues! We were talking about embarassing sex-related stories but still...

MrsMc, have had fat fanta and a bit tuna mayonnaise jacket pot - Definately comfort food

ready4motherhood · 27/10/2006 14:19

tee hee. you go girl!! for sharing that with colleagues. They'll think you are wild

Your ex needs a slap by the way, for showing it to people, that is not right

1n2s · 27/10/2006 14:19

RachelRose - Ha ha ha!! I am chuckling away to your drunkeness. I sadly have done the very same thing recently, got so drunk DH had to carry me home and then propell me up the stairs as I slid against the wall. This was soon followed by throwing up all night It was the only month I wished I wasn't preggers as I was convinced I would have done some serious damage to both baby, never mind my liver. Can't take the hangovers in my 30's

FirstStar - thank you for your advise re Endo, it was helpful and I will talk to GP again at Xmas. Re the CM, so when its at its thinnest so you hardly see - yes? If not my OTK are very wrong

cityangel · 27/10/2006 14:30

Thanks for all your kind thoughts and wishes. I am feeling better know they helped :0)
Had a nice glass of wine and spent the evening putting masking tape around the skirting board and carpet.. guess which helped more!

About me - came off the pill in August when I got married, nearly 31, live/ work in Canary Wharf with dh no kids and no pets (to make ready4 feel less nutty)
I am also starting to get concerned that I am not around enough women to OV! As I work in a team of 30 and I am the only woman!

Happy Friday everone

PS: I posted on the 2ww thread Mrs MC I hope the ideas help

Poor fish Firststar - Sounds like its off the great fishtank in the sky

Thanks for letting us know where some of you are - I've got a little mental map of you all now.

Hi Cityangel - I worked in Exchange Square next to the area for 9 years - lived in Bethnal Green and loved it. Edinbugh is a new thing for me in the last 2 years.

ready4motherhood · 27/10/2006 15:52

ooh desperate, where did you print your graph from?? I have been going mental with excel trying to transfer my temps onto a spreadsheet and convert it to a graph and it looks plain poo. sorry for hijacking your conversation!

desperate2bmum · 27/10/2006 16:17

Ta D2bM - I got a little booklet with my thermometer, but the gridlines are rubbish. This looks way better, think I will be printing a years supply of those too! Dead handy to write extra bits in too.

desperate2bmum · 27/10/2006 16:57

yeah i thought it was a great chart and it allows temps to be super accurate.

have a good weekend firststar

Babymad2DS · 27/10/2006 17:04

Morning ladies anyone testing this weekend? Babydust to all.

sideways · 28/10/2006 11:01

Morning! I won't be testing, but the first signs of af will probably appear this weekend. I won't be too surprised, but obviously that won't change the huge disappointment.

Even if you know it's unlikely, you still hope don't you?

desperate2bmum · 28/10/2006 11:46

babymad that looks really interesting...if you use it this month let me know how you get on with it and i might bare it in mind for next month
