This is a thread for ladies who have been ttc longer than 10 months who have started the ball rolling with tests and treatments. We are all here to support each other though these darker days to the baby shaped light at the end of the tunnel!

Hi Blue, thank you. you'd think they would warn you about the dildocam wouldn't you? I had no idea! Not that I was bothered but DH was quite shocked! Yes fx but not holding my breath. Would be nice though as follow up appointment isn't til March which seems ages.

Hi lildottie, I have no sticks to pee on! Will get one tomorrow if AF hasn't arrived. :-)

They seem to love surprising people with the dildo cam - I went to my first FC appointment and had one much to my surprise!

Blue - are you into the second week of 2ww?

Lil - I've been using the app for a whole week now. Managed to get 26% protein and 35% carb. It's really tough. I know my measurements for fruit and veg are not correct because I haven't always weighed but I figure they can't be that wrong and they are good for me! Only 1 glass of wine all week and lots of prawn and avocado snacks! I allowed myself the luxury of 2 pieces of toast this morning instead of the usual omelette and it was delicious!

I had one progesterone test but 2x day 3's as the first one had expired before the referral (had to be within 3 months). Went to the docs for tests after 15 months ttc.

Hahaha! Notta, luckily I had a heads up about the dildo cam from ladies on the clinics own forum so I could 'prepare'! Good luck poas if you're late! Let us know!

They do sort out the good sperm from the bad lil. So I would have thought they'd have some idea of the quality. I guess they don't do the %. I think the doc wasn't too worried coz dh has quite a high count so 5% of millions is more individual sperms than 5% of 100's.

vic isn't it funny we want quantity over quality in the sperm when it's usually the other way around! My dh also has good count (88m) so also clinging to 3% of 88m still being 2,640,000 good spermies!!

Landy that's really good! I've been having omelettes for lunch, I can't bring myself to give up my porridge or weetabix for breakfast. I did have fruit and yoghurt the other day because the fruit needed using but I had to force myself to eat it. I'm finding it much easier to stay off the rubbish as time goes on, although had to have Chinese takeaway on Friday as was seeing a friend. I didn't enjoy it at all though. Didnt really feel i'd missed out when I had the first glass of wine in months on friday too. I'll be ok until I stop being organised. Then I'll be screwed.

Forgot to say I went to the Dr after we had been trying 13 calendar months - but told her we'd been trying 16 months. Actually think I said "nearly 18 months"

landy af due today or tomorrow some cramps for last couple days but no sign yet

We hadn't been told the figures for DH SA but at the fertility clinic we found that volume, count and motility were all around double! So the 3% morphology didn't seem all that bad!

Still no AF does......Will pop out of work for a test I think. Although can't believe this might actually happen...

I downloaded the FF app but not sure if I want to be doing CBFM and temping... I think I'll start it next month if I do. Is it more accurate than using ov pee sticks?

Can I ask about the dildocam? When does that happen! Eek!

We DTD cd 8, 10, 16. That's it. I ovulate early so it would have been the 8 or 10 that did it.

Congrats Notta. That's great news! Did you do anything different this cycle? How many months have you been trying?

Thank you all so much!! Bit of background......came off depo jab Sept 2012. No AF til June 2013. Started ttc then, this Will have been my 20th cycle. Did nothing at all different, but did notice that DH 'goods' stayed inside for a lot longer. I did make a bit of an effort not to leak, but didn't have legs in the air. Just been taking plain old foluc acid.

Congratulations Notta, that's fantastic news and so encouraging for me to read.

I've been trying since October 2013 and have found it progressively more difficult to cope with the disappointment. Last couple of cycles especially. Finding increasingly difficult to be positive.

I have a beautiful little boy already.
