The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Yes Monten tested early yesterday morning and it was bfn but positive about 11am this morning. It's just the bleeding, it's not soaking a pad or anything but is bright red when I wipe now.

Thanks for the info chemical pg, I wasn't sure how they worked. Time will tell I guess x

Tranquilitybaby · 16/09/2014 20:06

boozle sorry to hear you experienced it too. What was it like and how much? Xx

Fingers crossed for you Tranquility when will you get the results?

Tranquilitybaby · 16/09/2014 20:50

Thanks for the info sunbathingcat but I think it's too much blood to be I know. Staining a pad now sadly. Wish I hadn't tested this morning now.

Poss tomorrow or Thursday purple but not hopeful at all now.

Treaclepie19 · 16/09/2014 21:08

So sorry tranquility :( Big hugs :(

TMI warning - I've been to the doctors, she reckons the nerves around my vagina are just messed up from the miscarriage and that's why I'm having so much discomfort. She's given me some tablets but said only to take them when my period comes and not to try while I'm on them.
Hoping I am pregnant this cycle because I don't want to take them. Don't want to have to miss another cycle at least.
Saying that, I don't know if the discomfort will go without taking them.

Boozle80 · 16/09/2014 21:16

It was bright red and whenever I went to the loo and wiped - sorry tmi, it was about the same amount as if I was wearing a pad wipe wise without filling the pad if that makes sense! Sorry if tmi! It lasted a day but the doctor said it could last for as many as five days

BlinkAndMiss · 16/09/2014 21:16

Just catching up, had two really busy days at work which has been a welcome distraction from ttc :). Although I don't like working very much.

Fingers crossed for you tranquility, it's not over so try to stay positive. I wished I hadn't tested when I had because my mc was so soon after but I'm glad I did so that I could have it logged at the dr. I also feel better about dealing with it, I knew he or she was there so I could grieve properly. It's hard to stay positive but it does happen that bleeding is not a sign of the worst, I'm thinking of you.

So much going on with everyone, Monten that is well and truly shit. How awful, is there not someone you can talk to about it? It shouldn't be up to you to 'present' how you'll manage - it's not like you're requesting her maternity leave, it's their problem how it will be managed surely? A woman I work with is due in 6 weeks and all she does is moan about it - I almost snapped today but I walked away instead. Seriously, you'd think she was being forced into being pregnant it's so awful listening to her go on and on about having to go to the toilet and being uncomfortable. Then she moans about the workload. I can't wait until she goes off on maternity leave, 6 weeks and counting :). I feel bad for myself but so much worse for my colleague who has had failed IVF attempts and will not be able to carry a child of her own. I'm not sure how she's managing to hold it together, she's bringing me a lot of strength at the moment and she doesn't even know it.

I'm still leading up to ov. On cd 12 at the moment, managed to DTD yesterday and we're planning on every other day. We managed every day over my fertile window last month but it was my wtf cycle and I know I ovulated a week after the bloody static smiley. So, I'm relaxing this month and seeing what happens. Plus, I don't feel as crazy as I did :). I'm still feeling calm after finally seeing my friend, I know she has her scan soon so things might change for me but at the moment the dog has stayed away.

I hope everyone is ok, I can't catch up with the thread properly to reply but as I was reading through I had something to say about everything! Hugs to everyone who needs them.

Boozle80 · 16/09/2014 21:21

Treacle I'm going to do a little pregnancy dance in your honour so you don't need to take evil pills of doom.
I'm in work tomorrow and dreading it. Urgh!

Treaclepie19 · 16/09/2014 21:28

Thank you Boozle :)
See if I am pregnant ill have to deal with the discomfort but surely it'll go away eventually???

Good luck with work.
I always dread it now. The doctor was asking how I was today. She said I seem really deflated. Yes I fucking am.

Thanks Sunbathing! Come on June baba!

broodylicious · 16/09/2014 22:01

Come on treacle baba!!! Keeping everything crossed for you. When is AF supposed to come but won't be? Xx

thesmallbear · 16/09/2014 22:20

Good luck Treacle, everything crossed!

Thanks for all those who have offered work advice - juts had a cry about it on DP. I have to book a meeting with my boss on Friday about something else anyway so I'm going to leave talking to her about it till then. That way I have a few days to let it sink in and see if I calm down about it. If not I'm going to word it so it sounds like I'm thinking about pregnant woman's interests rather than myself i.e. I'm struggling being around pregnant women and am worried I'll say something inappropriate, so I may not be the best person for her. Makes it less me, me, me, hopefully.

Tranquilitybaby · 16/09/2014 22:21

Thank you everyone I really appreciate it. Took some paracetemol as I was crampy and the pain has subsided. We'll see what happens tomorrow I guess.

Thanks boozle sounds identical to me then. Sorry to ask (I can't keep up with this thread), but was this your mc too?

Good luck to those testing soon xx

Treaclepie19 · 16/09/2014 22:23

Broody I have no clue when af is due anymore :p
9 days after I ovulate which is hopefully today or yesterday. Just waiting on my temp shift :/

Good luck smallbear :)

thesmallbear · 16/09/2014 22:25

Everything crossed for you too tranquility. We are all rooting for you!

Boozle80 · 16/09/2014 22:36

Always ask Tranquility. Yes and no - it was the same pregnancy but wasn't anything to do with it - I had a mmc at about 10 weeks - the baby got to about 9.5 weeks and we had a scan at 7 weeks where all was fine and the bleeding hadn't affected anything - which is why they think it was just this hormone thing. I never know when to use effect or affect! Doh! Sending you many positive thoughts lovely

Treaclepie19 · 16/09/2014 23:09

Ok we have now dtd cd10, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18.
Come on temp rise!

Treaclepie19 · 17/09/2014 07:06

Fingers crossed! :)
I'm starting to think I'll have another annovulatory cycle. My last cycle was so I'm hoping not. Cd 19 and still no temp rise :( my positive opk has come and gone.

thesmallbear · 17/09/2014 07:20

Clear Blue asked me to phone them off the back of my complaint email. They were actually really good & I'm getting a new holder and 10 replacement sticks through the first class post Grin Too late for this cycle though so if I do get up-duffed I'm going to a bulk lot of fertility tests lying around.

StopEatingThatMud · 17/09/2014 07:31

Can anyone point me in the direction of anything explaining the process of temping please?

I'm guessing it's probably fairly self explanatory but still! On day 25 of wtf cycle so probably too late to start this month but I'm struggling to read cheapie opk's clearly so would quite like a backup for next month.

broodylicious · 17/09/2014 07:50

Good news small, it was defo worth complaining Smile And good luck for your meeting with your boss. Let's hope there's plenty of sympathy and sincerity coming your way xx

Well, I won't be having a spring baby as after 31 days, AF has arrived overnight. I'm not too upset by it, more relieved after the horrid cramps and bloating I've been having over the last week, as I never usually suffer with that stuff and I'm a 28dayer. Cd1, fresh start, new bus! new due date #posifrickentivity

ignominious · 17/09/2014 08:00

Broody sorry about your AF.

Come on treacles temperature!

So much dtd in here! I'm cd13 we've done it every day since cd9 and carrying on till positive opk even if that takes months.

Mud you take temp every morning absolutely first thing, on the morning you ovulate it should be higher. Mines usually 36.3 but only went up to 36.7. I usually forget as woken ungently by a toddler. Doing opk too.
