The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

We had a morrisons Indian in the end. It was nice :)
Off to a festival tomorrow so feeling quite good.
Wish af would get lost though. Cd7!

Tranquilitybaby · 05/09/2014 20:53

I hope it's not what I went through Dulcet I really do but without scaring you, my experience was very similar :(

Don't want to cast doom and gloom, just want you to be safe that's all. Please if any pain starts go to A&E. Xx

Great news lauren that's wonderful.

Who's in the 2ww? I'm on CD19 at the minute, feeling crampy. Too soon to symptom spot though.

DulcetMoans · 05/09/2014 21:46

Thanks tranquil, I have convinced myself that's what it us now anyway so if I am wrong at least it will be a pleasant surprise. Just hope, if it is that, I can get it confirmed and seen too before the worst happens. How did you feel now physically aside from any pain? Did you notice anything else?

Is it bestival treacle? Enjoy whatever it is!!

Treaclepie19 · 05/09/2014 22:00

Oh Dulcet I so hope you're pleasantly surprised and all is ok.

It's a local festival :) just up the road from us.

Safra72 · 05/09/2014 22:46

I know what u mean about insensitive comments. However it must be so so hard to know what to say.

I lost both parents to cancer and yet when my friends dad died I had no clue what to say to her to comfort her. Sometimes even though you've been there you say/do the wrong thing.

My overwhelming feeling is.... Having lost so much, please lets not lose friends as well. I'm certain they mean well, only you know if they care about you and if you believe they do don't lose sight of that.

The only thing that's getting me through this (2weeks ago today I mc'd and in a weeks time it's my first mc due date) is the fact that I CAN get pregnant. I spent 6 yrs trying for ds and had to have ivf so getting pregnant without intervention really is a bloody miracle for which I am so so grateful. Even if it takes a few times and whatever drugs to get there, I'm in a better position that I was when trying for ds.

Mc is a whole new ball game of shite stuff, but I can tell you from first had experience unexplained infertility is a whole lot worse :(

IM(very)HO anyway.

Xxx

What a kind soul you are, Safra .

Lots of handholding as you approach a difficult time.

Tranquilitybaby · 06/09/2014 08:52

Hope I haven't upset you Dulcet it's just a lovely mn'er advised me to test when I was spotting 6 days after AF finished. I didn't dream I was pregnant since AF was completely normal. It's just there's not enough info on ectopic pregnancies I don't think, I didn't have a clue.

I just had a niggly slight dragging feeling in the left side. I saw my doctor who referred me to EPU. They said I was two weeks pregnant based on hcg pregnabt )how I don't know as I tried to explained to them that that wouldn't even show up on a hcg test surely!) I got 48 bloods which more than double from 105-275 but progesterone was low. Then after 5 days I started to get strong back pain and so was sent to the gynae ward. 4 hours later was scanned and found to be bleeding internally so had the baby and my tube removed 90 mins later.

I hope it's not that I really do. Keep my fingers crossed for you. Xxx

longestlurkerever · 06/09/2014 10:05

Tranquility. Thanks for posting. It's good to raise awareness of the symptoms. I wouldn't have had a clue. I hope you didn't find it too upsetting to post. Dulcet I hope you get some answers soon. Must be agonising for you. You have been through so much already, you really have my admiration.

I am in the 2ww too - my first since my last mc as was careful before I got my test results back and my annoying cycle means it only comes round every six weeks anyway. Am already symptom spotting- can't help it! So far I have a weird tingly feeling down below. Is kind of disconcerting and I have never had it before but apparently it might be to do with extra blood flow? Apparently agnus castus can make you feel pregnant though so trying not to get hopes up.

Thank you tranquil, it's definitely good for us to hear the symptoms and I find it really useful to read. Still not sure what is happening with me though. Been trying to get hold of EPU all morning but no answer. Might go to A&E later as have an ache in my shoulder. Thing is, wouldn't describe it as shoulder tip pain but don't know what to think. Never been to A&E though, don't want to be a drama queen! I hate all of this!

Read good things about Angnus caston long, hope it helps you!

longestlurkerever · 06/09/2014 13:23

Definitely go Dulcet though hope all is well. X

ignominious · 06/09/2014 13:41

Hello. Just marking place.

Tranquilitybaby · 06/09/2014 14:16

Just go to A&E Dulcet best to get checked out. Thinking of you.
Xx

No problem Longest if it helps someone whose then it's worth it. I can talk about it more now without getting upset. Onwards and upwards, TTC again. Good luck to you.
I'm trying not to symptom spot but every little thing, I'm thinking maybe just maybe. X

Tranquilitybaby · 06/09/2014 14:18

Dulcet I found it useful to make notes of all my symptoms plus dates of period etc as they'll ask you lots of questions. X

Hi all, just popping in to say I'm so sorry you're still having problems dulcet. Sounds like a trip to A&E might be in order, just to make sure. I hope it isn't ectopic.

Nothing to report here, CD6 and nursing a hangover from my birthday yesterday where I drank decidedly too much red wine...

ignominious · 06/09/2014 14:49

Sunbathing cat same, a pg friend who would be a month ahead of me wanted to meet up yesterday but I didn't answer the phone :/ what a dick

ignominious · 06/09/2014 14:50

Heaviest day of bleeding yet (MMC), home alone with toddler who hasn't been out the house today. Don't want to take her out myself due to leakage risk. DH has gone out to do his hobby. Everything can fuck off.

Tranquilitybaby · 06/09/2014 15:12

Hugs to you sunbathing and ignominious the feelings are unbearable at times aren't they. Hopefully you'll both start to feel better, in your own time xx

thesmallbear · 06/09/2014 15:16

Hi ladies can I join. My vital stats are 33 years old, first came off the pill in October 2013, 'actively' TTC from January 2014. MMC in June at 10 weeks. Went back on the mini pill after MC, but we are going to try again 14th Sep (I know that's very specific but it's when I get back from a short break next week).

Sorry everyone is having such a shit time. I am having problems with my friendships too. One in particular who I know is trying to help but is coming across as a smug self-righteous cow (maybe I am just being over sensitive)!

thesmallbear · 06/09/2014 15:20

Oh and TTC #1 btw.

ignominious · 06/09/2014 15:27

Hi small bear. Sorry about your mc. Will it take time to come off the pill?

thesmallbear · 06/09/2014 15:41

Hi Ig, it's the mini/progesterone only pill (POP). It doesn't actually stop you from ovulating, just makes the mucus thicker to stop the sperm getting through (gross when you think about it) and apparently does something else to make it less likely to implant. You don't have to stop taking them to have a withdrawal bleed, you just carry on taking them everyday and your periods come at the normal time but lighter (well mine are not as clockwork like anymore after the MC but ho hum). I actually have AF now. Going to stop taking the pills the day I go on holiday on Wednesday (just me and one female friend going OH won't be there).

I can't take the combined pill as I sometime have migraines with aura and it's considered dangerous to take it.

ignominious · 06/09/2014 16:03

Oh that's clever. No wait to get back into it then. How did it take you to get first AF after mc? Mine was at 10 weeks too, over a month ago now but still bleeding so a long way to AF even.
