this is cycle number 3 for us and already starting to get impatient ... hoping theres a couple of you lovley ladies going through this journey also !!

Havetea god yes, I was thinking the same thing earlier on today, I'm sick of sex feeling like a chore now, the first couple of times a month is fun, but then I just feel I'm doing it because I have to. Trying really hard this month to stick to EOD, so I'll be well and truly fed up of it soon!

Ooh blondie my AF is due on the 23rd too, I haven't ov'd yet though as I have a pretty short luteal phase.

Only on cycle 2 but the exciting news is that I've had my first EVER OPK pos!!! Didn't even happen last time - but obs it did!!
Full steam ahead really!
Small issue in that will be going to bils wedding about the same times I'll have POAS! I'll either be able to get very drunk or have to pretend!

May I join you all please? TTC #2 cycle 40 and losing hope! AF has arrived today and feeling a little fed up. I range between excited at day 14 onwards to depressed from day 1-14 x

Aww dildoos, that sounds tough.

I tested on Sunday with a FRER and got a BFN, so I think I'm probably out, and onto cycle 4. AF supposed to be due right about NOW but don't really feel like it's on its way yet. Just as I'd got used to having shorter cycles, I bet they just go and get longer again!

I POASed this morning - bfn, which means my weird bleeding last week was AF, five days early and accompanied by weird symptoms. So the plan now is buy some opks and get stuck into the next cycle. So I'm with you, life!

Pinpan, don't give up hope, it's not over til AF shows up. Fingers crossed for you. According to FF I'm due AF today too, but It's usually a couple of days either way. We only DTD once last month and am almost certain AF will arrive, so will try and resist POAS and wasting a stick. Been feeling crampy on and off the last week but that doesn't mean anything!

Ovulation sticks are a wonderful invention it gives you a positive when you pee on something and makes me feel just as excited as a bfp (yep I'm crazy )

Spotting n light cramps now so I think it probably is all over. On the plus side, my cycle hasn't changed too much in length so I have a vague idea what's going on. On to the next one!

Ordered my opks and stuff - time to work out wtf is going on! And actually it's probably a good thing I didn't get a BFP this cycle as I really must have a smear test done, and I dunno if you can do them when pregnant. Plus I have a wine tasting weekend away with friends this weekend. I am keeping positive!

No idea what's going on with my cycles as I've not been off the pill for long but if we assume they're going to be roughly 28 days then I should be due AF today... Had weird cramps/pains/bloating for a couple of weeks but put them down to ov/hormone re-balancing.... I have relented and ordered some sticks to pee on with tomorrow's online shop so if nothing showing by Wednesday morning I will probably POAS to try to find out either way...

I guess this is where my theory of not temping/charting/OPK-ing kind of falls apart - I am trying not to put the pressure on me and DH too much so we're just DTD EOD throughout the whole month, but then I don't know how many DPO I am, did I ov at all, is it even worth POAS? Oh the joys...!

Personally zoo I think it'd nice to not keep track too much does keep the pressure off and means uou can shag for snagging sake and not just because it's the right time. Hope it works out for you. But every one I'd different about what helps them.

I got a bfn tonight. I.think I may have tested a bit early but even so I.thought maybe, but not. My dd has been an absolute horror today and I was swearing blind that is be glad never to have another!! But really I am disappointed

One thing was was worrying me was the absolutely agonising left sided pain that has been building up over the past few days which has now abated somewhat but is still hanging about. Does anyone think this might be something to worry about? I did take a HPT as so to rule out ectopic and that was neg.

Possibly but I thought that only lasted a shortish time - a few hours - this has been a few days. I could barely walk this morning due to the pain!

I'll happily be told otherwise as that would mean nothing was wrong!

slightlyconfused, I know what you mean - my DD beat records for saying "NO" and grizzling constantly today, and if I'd had a BFP I'd have been thinking what have I done? But still disappointed about BFN anyway!

dD is 3 in September and had my coil out today for Ttc no.2.
Not actively trying yet as doc needed to check my records for rubella history(?) also want to let my body get back to normal.

Oh ffs! Strong signs of ov yesterday, early bed suggested BD to DH who said no. He says it's off putting how I never tried it before wanting #2 now am trying much more....aargh!
Not completely true about me not trying to BD before but it was really getting to me that the Mirena was still in when I've been waiting so long for DH to agree to no 2. Our DS is 4.

Just got a BFN Cycle is usually 29-30 days and today is CD31 so I'm fully expecting AF to arrive today. Dunno why I wasted the stick to be honest!

Thanks MaMaPo. Most annoying thing is I now need to plan in next day 21, 24 and 27 blood tests and it's looking like some of them fall either on Sunday or Monday. Obviously there aren't appts on Sundays and Monday and Tuesdays are my only days in the office! It's getting a bit tricky trying to explain why I have to level early for appts when I theoretically have weds-fri free. How I am supposed to find out if I'm ovving if I can't get tested on the right day? But if I keep going on the right day I may as well advertise TTC to my boss, she's not stupid. Argh. Tbh I don't think I can be ovving otherwise it really should have happened by now, but of course you have to establish this from tests before discussing next steps (clomid for example?).
