Hi all , so a little backgroud for us .. were married and already have a little one who is 20mths and we are ready for number two !
this is cycle number 3 for us and already starting to get impatient ... hoping theres a couple of you lovley ladies going through this journey also !!

cant wait for this cylce

I got AF on Wednesday eve. Dammit!! A bit disappointed but onwards to cycle 3. Hoping for an August BPF!

Havetea, that's brilliant. Hope it's a good omen. DD has taken to asking me why I don't have a baby in my tummy (like some of our friends' mums) so that's all good. I generally reply 'not for the want of trying'!

Hello ladies, can I join you?

I was on some other conception threads with more complicated names but been off them a while and I've lost track.

I have a gorgeous 21 month old DS and we've been TTC since january, I think this is cycle 7.

I started using clearblue OPK last month and got a smiley face around the 3rd July, I got my hope up and thought maybe this was our month but then my period came early. Which was very confusing because at first I thought it was an implantation bleed as it was only 8 days post ovulation, so I got all excited, then it got heavier and carried on a few days.

So it seems I have had a very short luteal phase this month (cycle usually about 33 days, this month was 28). That has made me feel a bit down this time. If I'd got pregnant my due date would've been the day DS is exactly 2 and a half. With DS I got pregnant very quickly, no faffing with ovulation tests.

You know that thing where it seems like everyone you know is pregnant, and there's the joke going round about "a chair" at work because so many people are up-the-duff. It's like that.

A lovely African woman I work with said to me, "May the Lord bless you with many many children" after I did her a favour. Made me smile!

hello... i'd really like to join this convo. TTC only on cycle 2 but cycle 1 wasn't really trying tbh. Have a beautiful beautiful DS whose 2nd bday is next week - he's a complete nightmare at times but a wonderful special gift that I'm so grateful for.

DS1 conceived after more than 6 cycles but I had timing all wrong, didn't use OPK, didn't know what I was doing! As soon as mathematics were sorted it happened straight away- we tried a week late in my cycle for half a year!

AF due next wednesday, cycle is 27/28 days every month without fail. For the last three weeks I have been constantly on the verge of tears, bloated to the point where I look like someone in their second trimester, have broken out in spots all over my shoulders and back - like light acne?!- and feel really down in the dumps and unable to cope for the last few days despite nothing whatsoever being the matter. I've also been incredibly moody and incandescent with rage , sore breasts, and all the other PMS symptoms that are normal for this time of the month.

I'm both scared to fall pregnant in case I can't cope and terrified I won't! What is wrong with me? I don't want to talk to even very close friends about this as they'll be waiting for news every month and add to the pressure i seem to have put on myself.

Well we've all gone quiet - hopefully a nice long weekend DTD and making babies. Half way though the 2ww and itching to do a test but just heard SIL had a miscarriage today after a long wait to get pregnant Sad

So very sad so now I'm thinking it wouldn't be so bad if we had to go through a few more cycles.

Hi ladies. I seem to have got my bfp this morning. I thought I'd be excited (and I am!) but I'm also now looking at my gorgeous 15month old and thinking she's still going to be a tiny baby when the next one comes along.

I hadn't really figured on feeling like this!!

Very early days though. Clear blue showed 1-2 weeks...

Well done weeblueberry, congratulations. And yes it probably will be a bit of a shocker having two very young ones for a short period of time but overall it will be fabulous as they'll be good friends. Have a rest for the next 8 months so you're ready!

Hello! May I join? First cycle of trying here, DS is 18mo and it was quite a procedure trying to make him so I'm really hoping it will be easier this time! I'm 39 so a bit worried I've left it too late Sad. Also still trying to lose the baby weight from that pregnancy Blush so hoping low carb is compatible with losing weight?!
Loads of luck to us all and congratulations to all who have got those BFPs!

9dpo for me today - I have crumbled and done 2 hpt over the past couple of days and surprise surprise they were neg.

Anyhoo...my temp dipped this morning by 0.3 I'm hoping it's the implantation drop and not a complete drop.

Fingers crossed!!!!

BFN ! Not pregnant on clearblue digital ! So the plus side is that in 3 weeks were jetting off on an all inclusive hol a probly just as well !! Let hope dtd in Spain will work wonders !! X

I'm not enjoying ttc one bit, I was 6 days late last month and spent a fortune on tests which turned out to be a waste of time. I them bought some ovulation sticks but they were the line ones instead of the smiley faces which I intended on getting. I used all said sticks and couldn't tell if the line was darker or lighter than the control. We DTD anyway.

About a week after this I started to get cramps so I did the very last ovulation stick, it seemed very dark. We'd DTD the day before so planned to again that day, then DS got ill and we couldn't. Anyway, I resigned myself to waiting it out, my cycles have always been fairly regular except last month when it was 39 days. I'm usually 28-29 days, now I'm on cycle day 33, my app thinks I ovulated a week before I got the dark line which now makes me 'late' but my ovulation test would mean I still have another 4 days before AF is actually due. Of course, this is assuming that my L phase is 14 days which I know it always used to be.

I've got awful cramps and my thighs hurt, all symptoms of AF. Oh and my face is covered in awful, massive spots which hurt. I could cry :(.

My DH seems to think that DTD once without contraceptives should do the job. To be fair, it did the first time round but I DTD straight after I got a smiley face on the opk.

Well, time for an update. Despite DH's initial reluctance (!) we managed to DTD a couple of time around the fertile window. I'm now very close to the end of my cycle and have been feeling incredibly nauseous and getting awful headaches. I've stopped drinking tea and coffee- even the thought makes me feel sick. My boobs are on fire too. I tried a Clearblue digital test yesterday (as v impatient) but it came back not pg. I think I'll just have to wait a few days and try another cheapy test as they're apparently more sensitive. Will keep you updated.

Hi All, back again on the wait. On day 25 of cycle. Been at it like rabbits this month however I was Away for 2 nights of my fertile period which prob won't have helped at all. I've been using my OPK every day and yesterday suddenly the line disappeared! I was getting stronger lines until yesterday. Again today nothing. Am a bit confused as the lines were not too dark to be what the test lot considerd positive. I was getting lots of egg white discharge and am still getting a bit. Fingers crossed for this month and baby dust to everyone x

Well I'm now on day 34 of this cycle and no AF, did a test on Saturday - bfn and have zero symptoms so gut tells me there's no joy this month Sad

Am out of tests though so if nothing happens by Saturday might go again. What OPK are you all using? Think I need to invest for my own sanity!

I got them from amazon really cheap will try and post the link here later. I am so impatient - I worked out last night that I need to wait Until about 13th August to do pregnancy tests as my cycle length last time was 38 days. Yawn!

No symptoms for me yet altho could be too soon. I had really weird feeling/tingling nipples last time and def don't have that yet.

Thanks that would be great. Weirdly I've had the tingling nipples all day and still no AF but I POAS again at lunchtime impatient and still BFN so I think definitely not this cycle.

Thinking back I did notice something resembling EWCM about 8 days after I was supposed to ovulate so will be interested to see if that's how late period is. DH away then so no hope if that was it Sad
