Hi all , so a little backgroud for us .. were married and already have a little one who is 20mths and we are ready for number two !
this is cycle number 3 for us and already starting to get impatient ... hoping theres a couple of you lovley ladies going through this journey also !!

cant wait for this cylce

Hey everyone so today for me is 7dpo! And this morning I got what I think is the faintest BFP EVER !!
Can't help but get excited will test again tomorrow and update !! Baby dust xx

Smogsville, just put on a mysterious face and say that you have been waiting for this medical appointment for a long time and you are not postponing the one you have been given even if it falls on a work day. I don't think they'd be allowed to ask what sort of appointment it is!

AF hurts, no fair.

Can anyone help me. I've just done an opk 10dpo (sorry Pinpan) and it was positive. Would it be too early for a opk to pick up hcg and is it normal to get another surge just before period?

Twinkletoes this is excellent news. How many cycles have you been trying for? Are you going to do another one in a day or so?

I'm a bit clueless re OPKs ladyflower, sorry.

Pinpan - thanks - only problem is I have already had to leave early twice for 'blood tests that have to be done on particular days'.... It's not so much that she will ask what it's for, but she a woman so she will know!

Does she have kids? I don't think I'd have had a clue until TTC this time round (was lucky enough not to have to do much reading up last time!). Hopefully she's got enough tact not to say anything even if she does realise...

Smogsville, I am a woman, with a child and TTC again, and I would have no idea that you'd need a blood test on a specific day because it had to do with ovulation/fertility. Maybe I'm just a bit thick?

So I am super duper triple happy today. A very dear friend who has had multiple miscarriages and lots of fertility stress has told me she's 12 weeks along with her first. Couldn't happen to anyone better. I could feel envious but I don't - she's been through so much. I just would love to conceive relatively soon so we have kids not too far apart. Can't stop grinning.

Thanks girls. You're all probably right of course. I will try to find a way around it. Doesn't help that my commute to work is quite long so I have to leave really early to get last appt.

Smogsville I really wouldn't worry about work. I'd be the same probably but at the end of the day your life and family ( inclusive of future members ) are more important and you don't owe them anything. I also wouldn't twig that blood tests on certain days would be to do with TTC so just out yourself first. :)

I'm 6 DPO and am going bloody mental with the wait. I have no symptoms but have had a ridiculously upset stomach this morning!
Have some 10uml hpt tests so wondering when I should think about testing ?! Any advise it should I just wait until AF is due ( 23 July which I'm not sure I can wait that long !)

I go back to work from maternity leave in 2 weeks. Would love to have good news for my return ( although not so good for them !)

I tested this morning at 7dpo blonde and here's a pic of my very faint bfp guna test again tomorrow just to be sure !!!

I am going to try to get an appt first thing and then say I am dropping in on a client before coming into office... Or something.

Hmmm I would probably wait to test, only because getting a negative is so dispiriting. But easier said than done!

Twinkle toes how did you get on with testing this am?
I'm 7dpo and still haven't tested. Had another acupuncture session today which was good.
Might give in and do a test tmrw. I know it's too early but atleast it will shut me up !

Yes there's a line but it's super super faint and I'm only 8dpo today ! It's frustrating wish I had will power lol !! But I just don't x

Ps thanks for that link my hubby home tomorrow from work so was hoping to have good news for him to arrive back too might test again tomorrow am or might just try and wait it out ! Doubt I will manage though - must of spent a small fortune on pee sticks ?? x

Well a line is a line so that's good.
Test in a few days and hopefully will be more obvious.
I kept getting BFN until 14dpo with my DD so fingers crossed for you!

I'm actually to nervous to test. I know how disappointed I'll be if it's neg so trying to just not think about. Who am I trying to kid! It's all I think about !!

I know blondie honestly u and I are too similar ! I hate having to examine the test for a line with dd we found out at about 11 dpo sooo .... Honestly I'm so frustrated and confused

Oooh twinkletoes! On phone so can't see pic but hope the line develops into a full blown BFP! Are you going to test daily?

Thanks for the link Blondie, I haven't a clue when I ovulated but it has given me hope! AF is now 2-3 days late with a BFN yesterday, but looking at those odds has given me a boost! Have told myself I'm not going to test again til Saturday morning so next couple of days are going to be a killer (assuming AF doesn't rear her ugly head.....)

I tested this morning too and BFN. Why do we do it to ourselves?
I'm promising myself I'm not testing again now til wed when AF is due. It's driving me too mad to the point i wake up in the night thinking about it. Just mental !

Got fingers crossed for you blondie and twinkle! All ready to go to the shops to buy a PT as now 4-5 days late, gone to the loo before leaving and wiped away small amount of blood Will see if it gets any heavier before buying a test I think
