Eddie that sounds really positive - there's an acupuncture centre in my town centre I might go in and ask at the weekend. Not scared of needles and like you say it's all for a great goal x

Life2012 · 02/07/2014 18:16

havetea what apps are you using? I'm a bit of a tech freak so always looking for the best app out there x

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 02/07/2014 18:31

Just the two mentioned up thread - already decided I like the my days one, no signing in necessary - no bells and whistles. Yet to try the other one.

slightlyconfused85 · 02/07/2014 18:32

Two of my colleagues have announced their second pregnancies, pleased for them but aaagh feel like this journey is going to be lo g, especially as dp working away quite a bit this summer

Life2012 · 02/07/2014 19:32

slightlyconfused I totally sympathise. I have my best friend who's due to have her second in a matter of weeks and whilst thrilled for her I can't help but get anxious for my family to expand too - also my cousin and 3 other close friends who recently had baby 2 or announced second pregnancies!!

The worst is when random aunty X comes up with a comment like "when are you two gonna announce your second one ?!" I'm like dha Confused !! If only it were that easy !!

BouncyBabe98 · 02/07/2014 19:48

Hi is it ok for me to join this thread?

I have wanted two babies close together for as long as I can remember (most of the children in my immediate family are only a few years apart). So... I never went back on my pill after baby number 1. This was 10.5 months ago. I had my first period on the 29th May after giving birth to my DS in August. At the moment I am on day 35 of my cycle. I got pregnant on my first cycle trying previously. I would love it if this had happened again but obviously it has not. I am so impatient!!!! I know I am in a good position obv with having had my DS so easily but I am the sort of person who wants something and wants it yesterday. I posted earlier in another thread about testing negative on tests but not having my period (Before I had my Son I used to be on the pill and would have a period every 'break' (21 day pill). I am gonna keep testing until I get my period I think... I kinda just want it to come now as I want to start properly planning my fertility now I have my periods back!

slightlyconfused85 · 02/07/2014 19:50

Welcome Bouncy! I am also a very impatient person and my very welcome 'accident' DD makes me think I should find this easy, although no joy yet. I did go back on the pill after DD as had no idea when or if I might want antoher, but am kicking myself now as really worried about how long it's going to take for my body to get back into action. Can't wait for the first BFP on here

slightlyconfused85 · 02/07/2014 19:51

Life I totally understand. I have lost count of the amount of people who have asked me when number two is coming in the last couple of weeks. I'm working on it okay!!!

BouncyBabe98 · 02/07/2014 20:05

Thanks :)

I always had very regular periods but I think that was due to the 21 day pill. I was just saying to my DH how I wish I knew what was normal with my periods... 35 days is too long to wait but I know that my obsessional testing and stressing over it is not helping!

ZebraZeebra · 02/07/2014 20:11

Good luck to all of you! Wishing for resounding BFPs all around.

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 02/07/2014 20:25

Who is going to be first to POAS then? Anyone due very soon or already late with AF!? AF is just coming to an end for me, and then it's on to cycle 14 Sad I have taken a bit of a break the past two months, but am planning on throwing my all into it this cycle!
Those of you that have just come off the pill, I know a few people who fell pg immediately after stopping it, I think you can have a bit of a fertility surge when you first come off it, the hormones trying to sort themselves out and what not, so fingers crossed for you!

Life2012 · 02/07/2014 20:29

gingerbread my AF I'd due next Tuesday - tested today with a cheap 10mlu PT and got a BFN Sad losing hope again for this month

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 02/07/2014 20:31

How many DPO are you life? Could still be early days for you yet!

ZebraZeebra · 02/07/2014 20:33

I've been POAS since Sunday, have had multiple BFPs but really just losing the plot because I had an early miscarriage last month. Had some cramping and feel a bit anxious. I can't relax and be happy AT ALL. I'm sorry, I know that must seem odd.

Life2012 · 02/07/2014 20:37

gingerbread I've been temping so I think I'm 8 DPO and 6 days before AF is due!

zebra congratulations on your BFPs and please stay positive. Won't you get an early scan given your history?

BouncyBabe98 · 02/07/2014 20:39

Just gave in and did a clear blue digital test.. worked for me last pregnancy. It came back negative :( Oh well beats me for being so keen I guess

Life2012 · 02/07/2014 20:41

I know the feeling bouncy BFPs are stuff of dreams it seems ?! Sad

Baby dust to a all xx

GingerbreadBabyPlease · 02/07/2014 21:04

Life that is far too soon to POAS! I think 10dpo is about as early as you can go to see a line!
Zebra I hope this one sticks for you, try and relax and don't let yourself get too worked up. Easier said than done I know, but worrying and thinking about it won't make a blind bit of difference other than getting yourself all stressed out, so make yourself a brew, sit down to a good movie and try not to worry about it, and do not POAS again until saturday am!!!!
Sorry Bouncy, fingers crossed for next cycle for you.

twinkletoes09 · 02/07/2014 21:24

Hi guys I'm
On CD6soon to be 7 in a few hours - AF coming to and end I'm not counting down to ovulation I don't know what it is this month but I'm aching inside for a BFP this month ! You know when you want it so much !? Please someone sympathise with me ... Here's hoping for bfps very soon baby dust every1 xx

twinkletoes09 · 02/07/2014 21:24

I meant to say I AM counting down to ovulation !!

Bobs76 · 02/07/2014 21:41

Hi everyone, I'm feeling a bit down in the dumps :-( I really want to feel positive but the time to start using the ovulation tests is nearly here & I'm feeling anxious already! After trying for so long I'm finding it hard to be positive, I've even thought about giving up but can't bring myself to.

Bobs76 · 02/07/2014 21:44

Hi Twinkletoes09, I have every sympathy with you, we've been trying for 18 months, I've had tests and they can't find anything wrong. I want this so much too! Good luck :-)

ladyflower23 · 02/07/2014 22:13

It's so weird how TTC just completely takes over your life and it's hard to think about anything else. I can't seem to envision getting another BFP or being pregnant again it's so weird/scary!
Anyways, am currently CD19 and was hoping to see my LH surge today, but hasn't appeared. FX for tomorrow. I have a short luteal phase which obviously didn't turn out to be a problem last time, but am convinced it will stop me from getting pregnant this time...

Bobs76 · 02/07/2014 22:34

I am the same ladyflower23, it's taking over my life can't think of anything else. I'm also finding it hard to imagine getting pregnant again after months of disappointment. So frustrating isn't it.

Justpickagoddamnname · 03/07/2014 08:58

Hullo everyone. Tested today and got a clear BFP. I know I am not out of the woods yet as mc rates are so high for ladies in their prime like me ( 41), but can't help being incredibly excited! Ds1 has been running around, in his toddler way, waving the test stick about!
