this is cycle number 3 for us and already starting to get impatient ... hoping theres a couple of you lovley ladies going through this journey also !!

Me too Twinkletoes just done Ovulation test and it's a No! Oh well only day 2 of testing and it was day 4 of testing last month - my cycles are anything from 29 days to 35 days.

Oh Slightly sorry you have been feeling down, I know how that feels I barely stopped crying last week, it's really getting me down it's been 18 months since we started trying. Hope you get your BFP.

Hi everyone, which tests did u use Life, were they the same ones or different as it may just be the one u took later wasn't as sensitive?

I could take a FRER tomo but think if I can I will wait till Wed to test. Think I might be preggers as have erupted in spots which is v unusual for me, am v windy, sorry TMI and have more CM than usual but then maybe I'm not?! Praying this is my month!

hi dd1 is 2 yo and we are trying for no 2. really didnt think i woukd be saying this but hey. whose worried about finances? dont get tax credits and have CM for dd and just started new job

newbie I used the same tests - bought a load of early detection hpt from amazon but the one this morning using FMU was positive!! Thinking of testing again in the morning - I'll be 4 days before AF tomorrow so praying for another bfp. I have a clear blue digi but saving that for Friday as I heard they are not very sensitive! I too am having all imaginable symptoms: nausea on/off all day, unusual crankiness, feeling very emotional and my tummy is so bloated if I'm not pregnant ill definitely be going the GP as I look 3 months pregnant already!!!!

Life this is sounding excellent. Keeping it all crossed for you. Aching breasts again at this end but it came to nothing last month so trying to remain sanguine. On day 26 too so it could well be just the period gearing up to say hello. Of course I never had painful breasts as a PMS symptom before trying for a second! Seeing doc tonight to discuss blood results and get DH lined up for SA tests.

So I just got a BFN this morning using same test and FMU .... starting to really think that was a false +ve and I have put mine and my DH hopes up for nothing

Feeling really tired, nausea seems to have calmed down today but having cramps lower down instead and massively sore boobs . Wish my body would tell me and put me out of my misery. This is going to be a very long week!!

Hi all, just wanted to update - got my AF last night (CD39!) Thanks whoever said it takes a while after baby for periods to go back - think that must be happening with me.. I really thought I might have been preggers.. cross fingers for next time..

Life try again in a few days maybe? for DC1 I had BFN even after/around period due time and then got a BFP on the same brand of tests about 4/5 days later (sorry dates a bit hazy)
I know how hard it is when you think you might be though - I have just spent the last 2-3 weeks testing mostly daily thinking this could be it

Hi Bouncy please don't worry about your periods pattern - mine didnt come back properly until more than a year after my DS was born GL for next month.

I got (what I thought to be) a BFP yesterday but it was sooooo faint that it could have possible been an evop line perhaps?!? I'm soooo down - I really need some good news in my life and I want DH to be happy as he sooo wants another baby too

Anyone had a BFP followed by BFN but still ended up pregnant?

Life how bewildering this must be. Have you called your doc? Sodding POAS. I think it was easier back in the days before HPTs were available when docs used to say you're not preg until you've missed two periods.

Bouncy mine took a year to get back to normal and even now they're a bit off track! it just takes a while.

Life I also got a nasty evap line last month but it was after the 3 mins so I sort of knew. Get a FR and test again in the morning with FMU, it's awful having your hopes dashed like that. I'd still check in the morning though, a line usually is a line if it has colour and within the time limit. Don't trust Superdrug tests though, their evaps have colour and are very convincing.

Well I should have ov'd yesterday but I've been too ill to DTD, we did on Friday and we'll try again today but I'm really, really pissed off that we've probably missed it again this month like last month. And I still feel like crap today.

Hi smogsville I haven't called my doc yet because I'm not sure whether it was BFP or whether it was an evap line. I'm rather convinced it was an evap line or false +ve because my DH made me take another test less than 2 hours after this alledged BFP and it was negative along with the one this morning with FMU also BFN .

Thanks BlinkandMiss My cycles are normally 31 or 32 days - currently on CD 28 (or 11 DPO) and I'm still hoping it might be too early for HPT. I'm thinking of leaving it now until Wednesday/Thursday and maybe take another test then? Either way I'm trying to stay positive till the very last. I'm also temping and my temperature is still high and above baseline.

Hi everyone, I have not done a preg test since I got pregnant with DD 4 years ago. I just wait & then my AF arrives. However every month I find something to make me think I could be pregnant this month & I googled early pregnancy symptoms a few months ago & I had them but still got my AF. It's confusing that pre-menstrual symptoms can be the same as early pregnancy symptoms. If my AF was more than 35 days late then I would maybe test. I was more than 6 weeks gone when I tested when I was preg with my DD.

I totally sympathize Bobs as every month I found a symptom to make me think I'm pregnant until AF shows her ugly face and reality hits me in the face!

Google is a terrible thing for us TTC troopers - I'm trying very hard not too Google everything but is soo hard ....

Update from doctor girls. The aching boobs but negative test result? Just one of those things.
She reckons there probably isn't anything amiss as DD came along quickly but is sending me for more blood tests next cycle - days 21, 24, 27. As my cycles aren't a neat 28 days the readings aren't as reliable as they might be.
I asked about EWCM and she says some people get it and some don't - ie you can be ovving and not really notice any changes.
DH going for SA too. Doc explaining the process to him was rather hilarious...

Oh yes and she said she would refer us once a year's trying was up

This waiting is awful isn't it, it's so consuming!!! I'm still spotty, still think I might be but then looking back I've thought that every month and got a BFN so why should this month be different? Spots are def a new thing, I know I can get what I call my 'period spot' but it's always only one, normally on my chin and comes a few days before my AF is due but these spots are really small and on my forehead, chin, eyebrow randomly and chest and came a few days ago so earlier than usual period spot! Going to test on Wed I think, AF is due Sunday I think, hasn't been as regular as normal lately but Wed would be 10dpo?

newbie 10dpo is rather early though I cannot really talk as I have been poas since 8dpo . I've asked DH to hide all my HPTs until Friday when my period is due! I figured, at least that way I'll know for sure whether I am or not as I'm rather fed up of symptom guessing and googling every aches & pains! My "so called" pregnancy symptoms have pretty much vanished - still have aching breasts and a touch of nausea but the latter could just be mind over matter and I'm not placing too much importance on it.

I'm on CD14 and no ewcm and my OPKs still aren't getting darker. God it's so frustrating. Had another acupuncture app yesterday in the vain hope it might help with something but still no obvious OV signs. My cycles are pretty regular so I think I was right with not OVing. My temps also haven't shown a dip / rise either so feeling a bit crappy today :(

I'm on CD18 and I've been doing my ovulation tests since CD15 and nothing as of yet but still got to test tonight so we will see.

I am only on CD2/3(?!) so still early days. I have ordered a pack OPKs which look very similar to yours twinkletoes (amazon). So.. when should I start testing with the OPK? Anyone who has been watching this thread will see that my last cycle length was 38 days (lucky me!). Am still with AF. The tests were not that expensive but I don't want to use them unnecessarily.

Also - if the line gets darker when do you know if it's dark enough if you know what I mean?

I am sure it will have some form of instructions but I have ordered similar cheapy looking tests like the pregnancy sticks on amazon and those instructions were not exactly informative!

I test 2 weeks from the first day AF greeted with her presence BouncyBabe I've just started to use Clear blue OPK's as the cheap supermarket one's I bought originally didn't tell me when I was ovulating.
