Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

I am indeed knocked up Red! We have that delightful phrase here too Wink I have everything crossed for that little snowflake in there!! Look after yourself this week Brew Thanks

Glad you're feeling better Babble! Sorry about your spoilsport DH Wink

Hope you had a great holiday Zyla Grin Wine Is this your first month with the cbfm? I read a lot of stuff online when I got mine that said the first month using it can be a bit of a washout - sometimes takes it a bit to figure out your cycle.

Hope everyone else is well! Off for my haircut this morning so I'll look half decent if if I feel like crap! Hmm

red its soooo good to have you back! so excited for you and praying for a sticky bean! do you get to do s normal hpt or do you have to go to the clinic? I shall be keeping an eye on your blog. I've read yesterdays and its good to see you are still so zen! I'm trying very hard to be Zen!

cookie it must be amazing. can't believe how quickly the time has passed! hope ur dh has got used to the idea now and all is going well.

duck I went through a phase years back of always getting cystitis. I swear by cymalon. and make sure you drink plenty, even though its a killer to have to keep peeing!

I wonder what bear is up to. she popped back a while ago but it was a fleeting visit. if you are out there bear I hope you are OK. and Essie too.

aylesburyduck · 31/05/2014 10:32

what I wouldn't give for a really good wee. I manage about a teaspoon at most!!

A few years back I worked with a lady who had never grasped the concept of over sharing. She'd come back from the loo, fling open the office door and shout "that wee was better than an orgasm!!"

The whole department knew everything in cringeworthy detail about her sex life Shock

ZylaB · 31/05/2014 11:58

red fingers crossed for you.

duck do keep drinking! I know it's nasty when you gotta go! but you need to flush it out. Have you got antibiotics from the docs? Also cranberry juice can help prevent getting it, as well as being one of your 5 a day.

It was my first month with it, so am hoping it's just not worked me out cos of a longer than average cycle. So I am twotting! Get to test in a few days, or use the ones that came with the cbfm tomorrow hmm

Is lovely to be home, even tho hol was excellent, missed the cats and my bed :) hope everyone's doing something nice today!

Lala5 · 31/05/2014 12:02

Hi noise!!!

zing and red hooray there you are! Happy to hear from you! Red that sound positive Grin and zing wow not long to go! Red I'm crossing everything for your snowflake xxxx big hugs

zyla and babble fx for twot. Think positive embryo implanting thoughts... I've just received my ultimate contraband through post, not used it yet. Went to neighbour coz I was out. Hope she didn't look in it - bit embarrassing.

Am sitting in sun at yard watching the horses graze. Very nice!

duck cystitis is evil! Cranberry juice and water, lots of it.

min thank you! I poked head in grads thread and was bit sad coz it looked like you were all having a laugh and id love to be a grad. We miss you guys in here. Determined next month is lucky, bit I've lost lots of weight through stress and im a bit worried what that's doing to my body. Need to be find my zen like lil

Cookie that sounds incredible!

Xx

wilhelminand · 31/05/2014 12:23

Aw Lala, hoping you join us soon. I post here just as much as there anyway. In fact I rarely know which thread I'm on. Good luck with ultimate contraband. Remember to go for those smear tests viroids!

Duck I don't get people like that, so cringeworthy.

You're doing very well at being zen Lil.

ZylaB · 31/05/2014 12:47

Ooh wil I'd forgotten I had my smear this month! even tho had results lol!

Now I have extra secret hopes! :)

Babblehag · 31/05/2014 14:44

Hoorahhhh I have found away around doing test, my friend has just invited me out so i just have to do test to make sure i am not upduffed before hand right?

Babblehag · 31/05/2014 14:50

RPopz · 31/05/2014 15:36

ZylaB · 31/05/2014 15:42

Well I seriously feel like AF is on her way, couple of days early, so am also gonna drink when out tonight!

Redshoes56 · 31/05/2014 16:33

I am definitely looking after myself, rpopz. No stress. wil I canceled all my meetings at work yesterday, put my feet up on a spare chair in my office and caught up on some "easy" items (emails, etc.) that had been piling up. Definitely reducing stress as much as I can, there and at home! Last night we had dinner with friends and sat on their patio drinking -- of course, I was having a fizzy water while they were all having gloriously potent gin and tonics. Still, I hope to have nine months ahead of being designated driver.

Right now I'm enjoying a nice decaf tea with milk and just sitting on my rump. I like the chocolate idea, min. I have some salted caramel ice cream on the way via grocery delivery (yeah, I'm having my groceries delivered -- and I don't feel guilty AT ALL!).

cookie I can't believe how far along you are -- it feels like just yesterday you shared the big news. Then again, I've been on the JS threads for a year and a half, so I've seen plenty of BFPs and births. It's amazing :) you and min definitely have to keep checking in on us over here!

Keep up the zen, lil! It really makes a difference. So here's the deal with the test. I have a blood test scheduled at the clinic. But really...they can't STOP me from peeing on the stick beforehand, can they!? Grin They recommend you don't test at home if you do a fresh transfer during an IVF cycle; that's because you take HCG and it shows up for a long while in your urine and can cause false positives. You don't take any HCG in the frozen cycle, though, which means I shouldn't have to worry about that. However, I have NO sticks in the house at all. I am debating whether to buy some. Do I want to test in advance? Or do I want to just hold out until the blood test? Ahhhh! Decisions!

What's the latest with bear? I have to scroll up and try to pick up bits and pieces on everyone's goings-on.

Redshoes56 · 31/05/2014 16:34

And thank you everyone for the encouragement! This little embryo has cheerleaders all over the globe! Thanks

Redshoes56 · 31/05/2014 16:55

OK I just ordered tests on Amazon. That decision didn't take long. But I am not going to test until Wednesday. At that point I'll be 6dp6dt (six days post a six day transfer) which is the equivalent of 12 days post ovulation, I would think....

Do not let me pee on anything before Wednesday!

wilhelminand · 31/05/2014 16:56

I say wait Red because you're going to have to go in for the blood test regardless. When is it?

Zyla be careful... pg feels like AF! Grin

Sorry it was BFN Babble, hopefully just too early.

wilhelminand · 31/05/2014 16:59

oh haha x-post. Never mind!

Redshoes56 · 31/05/2014 17:16

The blood test is next Friday. That is ages from now! (OK, not really but it sure feels like it.)

Friday is also my birthday. I'm acutely aware that it can be the best birthday I have ever had or the shittiest depending on the results, and I guess I'm thinking I can be better prepared if I test. I don't know if I can keep myself from testing! But just because they're in the house doesn't mean I won't change my mind and be patient :)

lil1ady · 31/05/2014 17:45

red I think you should wait for the blood test. even if you test at home and get a bfp you'll be worried its false because if the ivf. and if its bfn you'll be wondering if its just too early. the clinic know what they are doing and they will have told you to wait for a reason! plus, you have a 8day twot....you can manage that easily! use the pee sticks after the blood test to remind yourself of the bfp every day!

Redshoes56 · 31/05/2014 18:22

You're right, lil, it's certainly not that long to wait :) I am not worried about getting a false positive -- I haven't taken HCG since March. But it may make me crazy either way. I'll try...........

RPopz · 31/05/2014 18:22

Took the words right out of my mouth Lil! Wink

OP posts:
lil1ady · 31/05/2014 18:51

let my Zen rub off on you red...although I'm pretty sure it was your Zen to start with Grin

rpopz Grin Grin

Purplecircle · 31/05/2014 18:59

I'm in serious need of Zen. Do they sell it in M&S?

I also think you shouldn't POAS and wait for blood test.
I always try to be pessimistic then I can't be too disappointed. But I would probably be going out of my mind if I were you.

TabbyTurmoil · 31/05/2014 19:12

Hello viroids! Have missed a few pages through work busyness.

Red, fingers tightly crossed for you. I would try to hold out for the blood test, I think, but can see that your birthday changes things there.

Hope everyone else is well. Babble, sorry to hear about bfn :(

afm I am deep in the boring and seemingly endless twot. AF due on thurs and not expecting anything as we only dtd twice before suspected date of icing. Last night we dtd and Mr Tabby said "would you like me to [insert rudeness]" and I inexplicably found myself saying "yes please" in a very polite voice Blush He laughed so hard he had to have a rest Hmm Think I need to do some work on my smutty talk.

wilhelminand · 31/05/2014 19:32

Grin Grin Tabby. Although it sounds like he asked rather politely too.

cookielove · 31/05/2014 21:41

lil dh is stupidly excited about the baby now :)
