Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

hello lovelies!

Sorry I have been missing in action, but we're all moved in to our new house

have spent 3 days surrounded by boxes and despite a number of baths and showers I still smell of flash with bleach!!

Mr duck asked me last night if I fancied christening each room, I politely declined - I would've rather stuck pins in my eyes than got jiggy with it!!

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 18/05/2014 08:27

Oh dear. Faint positive (we think) on a clear blue but I'm two weeks late and it should be rock solid by now. I don't know what to think but I don't feel good. Last time was a big glaring YES and this doesn't feel like that. DH has read the instructions and thinks I'm pg. I don't. Thought it would give me an answer one way or the other and it's made things worse.

Can't post much today, will try again tomorrow. What will be will be (deep breaths).

Enjoy the sunshine viroids. Thanks for being around so I can write this down!

DulcetMoans · 18/05/2014 09:05

before - you can't come in and tell us that and then say you won't be around much! You could potentially be later than you thought so less pregnant than you thought? Perhaps a digi in the morning?

Never seen HIMYM in a logical order lil so I get all confused! Sometimes Robyn is with one, then the other and back again, then theres a whole bunch of weddings, a baby then no baby. I cant keep up! I do like it though.

Minion · 18/05/2014 09:18

I love himym, I'm obsessed.
before Def could be less pg than you assume, maybe you did ice late this time? Fingers crossed that's the case.
Can you post a quick pic for us to help you out at all?
Is another lovely one here. Today's going to drag, we get the keys to our first house tomorrow.
Eeek

cookielove · 18/05/2014 09:20

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 18/05/2014 09:26

RPopz · 18/05/2014 09:40

Before a line is a line is a line! Honestly. Hpts are not good at quantitative. Try a FRER? (I love Frer haha - totally not on commission Wink )

Congratulations!! Thanks Thanks xxx

Also clear blues are a bit rubbish. I got a super faint line on one the day after I got a humongous positive on a frer and two ics. It put the fear of God into me and DH was really mad with me! Google tells me the blue dye tests are not as good as pink dye ones (eg frer, or superdrug pink dye ones).

omg someone whhoooooyaaaahhhh me now it needs to be a big one because I am already twotting and according to my app I have
not even ovulated, yesterday I had cramping then ewcm with blood in, so of course the first thing I think is implantation goo. hooyah me, hooyah me now before I drive myself crazy, and please give me a reasonable explanation of what implantation goo could have been other than implantation goo, oh and BTW I definitely didn't have this last month and I haven't DTD since Thursday so it can't be then related either.

Babblehag · 18/05/2014 10:08

and breath!!

lil1ady · 18/05/2014 11:06

babble ov spotting is a thing. hooya! Wine Thanks

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 18/05/2014 11:47

Pregnant 1-2

I'm shaking!

Thanks for replies, really cannot post any more today. Will be back tonight or tomorrow. Have a novelty cake to ice.

Hooya! Babble, if you like. But I can't really Hooya anyone today and mean it. Enjoy the sunshine :)

Purplecircle · 18/05/2014 12:08

Omg wow congrats Before

I have completely lost interest in DTD, is that a symptom of preg or one of TTC?

I also bought CB tests. Sains didn't have FRER, where sells them?

TWOT is driving me insane, trying not to symptom spot. I'm so convinced that it hasn't worked this month that I did drink a bottle of Pimms last night!

aylesburyduck · 18/05/2014 12:33

Grin Grin Grin Grin
before congratulations!!!!

oooh I do love a bfp!!

xxxx

aylesburyduck · 18/05/2014 12:34

KatoPotato · 18/05/2014 13:00

Before!!!!! I knew it! I knew you and wil were!!! Oh wow.

Babblehag · 18/05/2014 13:21

before yay !!!!!! awesome Grin [grin

thank you to however says that spotting is an ov thing, that's explained everything !!! I also feel sick and have a runny nose/sneezes so I'm guessing that's also ov thing, as I did have those symptoms last month!!!! no more twitting for me this month, that's it I'm done esp as the likely hood of getting laid has gone for the rest of this month due to dps work, well at least until next weekend so I'm totally missing the window! Sad

KatoPotato · 18/05/2014 14:12

Babble you're in good company. I'm on 2we and have sore boob ribs and am a tired narky arsehole...

wilhelminand · 18/05/2014 14:50

Congratulations Before! How do you feel now you've seen the digi? If it's any help, when I was pg with miniWil, I was about 7 weeks before I found out and had a really faint line on a test like that but then CB digi said 3+ and all was fine. Hope you're ok and feeling good xx

Purple you definitely go through stages where you can't be bothered. Hope you get your mojo back soon.

Congratulations to the house movers. We need to reorganise our house which feels like a big job at the moment. I really struggle with organisational stuff, I think there must be a gene for it of which I am lacking.

aylesburyduck · 18/05/2014 15:09

I totally understand why people say moving is so stressful. It wasn't till we got in on Thursday that we realised how much we'd got to do. If it wasn't for my parents we'd be in a total mess.

The house wasn't just dirty, I doubt it had ever been cleaned. I nearly cried at one point and was about to tell mr duck I wanted to go home to our clean house.

It is the house of half finished jobs, and our list of things to do is growing by the minute.

Do feel free to pop in with your marigolds and a j-cloth at any time, you'll be more than welcome Wink

x

Purplecircle · 18/05/2014 16:16

We had to buy a new oven. The one in the house had never been cleaned!
If you can find £50 phone a cleaning company...far better to go out and leave them to it. Coming home to a clean house will cheer you up
We spent 2 days cleaning ours before we moved in and I wish we'd just paid someone!

I've been very sneezy lately, was thinking its hay fever, although I never had it before
I've also been grumpy as feck too

aylesburyduck · 18/05/2014 17:21

aww purple I feel your pain x

The thought of getting someone in to clean did cross my mind, but stupidly I'd clean up before they came and probably whip round after so I quickly discounted that plan!!

I am with you on the grumpy though. I am too esp since AF will be here on Thursday, the cramps have started...

Minion · 18/05/2014 17:34

Ooh I had the oven man in Friday. £45 for 2 hours and it looks brand new. Very impressed. Thought I'd best leave the flat in a habitable state, that excludes the awful condensation damp of course.
We've decided were gonna get him in once a year, it really looks amazing.
