Oh My Dear God In Heaven - What have we done!!

Ok - I am being dramatic but have every reason to be - have realised after bit of prodding an poking that I can't find my threads to my IUD!!!

Had a bit of a bleed last weekend and heavy pains etc was weird as never happened in between periods before but just thought was one of those things!!

Well since then have had sex 4 times (sorry to be so intimate here!!) and now am terrified that I am up the DUFF!!!!

Last period started 7th of this month and finished on the 13th - what are the odds - can someone please tell me???

It would not be the biggest disaster in the world - DP and I are happy together and have spoken about children and he would love them and I yearn for a baby sometimes but now with facing the reality that it could actually happen I am terrified??

Now I don't want to go and have anew one fitted until I know if an pregnant or not but that means just waiting till my period is due and abstaining!!

Hey - I knew I shouldn't have gone to those meet ups!!

Dp doesn't know for sure yet - not really appropriate to break it to him over the phone and an email is a bit bad too - he saw the 4 I did last night but would not be convinced as all of thie lines were so faint - but now with my new electronic gizmo he has no choice but to believe me!!!

Not usre how to break it to him now - do I buy him a card or something - exciting ideas please girls!!

(Do not waste money on those inferior tests - if anyone thinks they are go and get a gozmo one!!)

WWW - did that one on DP last night a line is a line and you can get a false negative but not a false positive but it did not wsh with him - oooohhhhh I am so excited!!

With Ds I did a test just after DH had left for work, fully expecting it to be negative! I was off out for the evening to drew him a picture of a foetus with "recognise me Daddy?" written underneath it..... then I chickened out and went to his work and told him when he still had 5 hours left of his shift. So cruel...

This time I was the same as you Twinkie, lots of debatable tests. I knew they were positive but DH needed convincing. I went to Tesco the day my AF was due and did one there and then in the Tesco loo. A big fat blue line appeared. So I phoned DH and told him he couldn't deny there was a line on that one! SO no imaginative or romantic ideas there!!

Nursery is pink at the mo - I wil paint it beige probably or something equally neutral!! DD will have to move into the bigger bedroom in the summer I suppose.

I am apparently due on November 13th - seems such a long time away and have 2 holidays booked before then - one at the end of August - am I gonna be ok to fly??

God am terrified of telling DP now - like the idea of knitting booties - would be great if I could knit and the idea of drawing well it may look like an alien if you let me anywhere near the crayon box!! Maybe I should buy him a card or a best Daddy in the world mug or something like that - did think of arranging the fridge magnets so they said you are going to be a daddy but thought that a bit naff and means me getting enough time on my own to move them tot he dishwasher where he would see them!!

Champagne when you get home? You can have a glass and dp can have the rest to get over the shock!! It's wonderful news and you were so broody you must have caused your coil to evaporate with sheer broodiness. I'm sure this is medically possible

DP just mailed me and asked me out for a coffee at lunchtime - I said ooohhhh think I better have tea and he wrote back 'What do you mean have tea' - what can I write that is witty and clever but will convey the massage without actually saying it!!

Could attach a document I suppose about the apparent dangers of caffiene but that would mean I would never be allowed coffee again!!

Just think I should have tea?? (did another test - a computer one and it is totally accurate no lines in little windows - just comes up with the words pregnant or not pregnant!!)

The above is what I wrote - do you think he will get the message - or do you think the next one should read BECAUSE YOU ARE GOING TO BE A FATHER!!!!!
