Hi

Just thought as there was a thread for the older mums (there words not mine)Smile
that i would start one for the younger ones.

Think AF is on her way (fingers crossed) as i normally have 48-70 cycles this will be my first one at 34/35 days - yippee.

It probably won't happen now, anyway feel free to write away.

TTC 11 month - waiting for appoinment at fertlity clinic.

Nah... you wont ever forget how much you wanted to have a baby. Even when you feel like sh*te... You are never alone and you know it.

Even when you are in the throws of Labour... you would do it all again in a second when you first look at your baby...

Natty1806 · 07/07/2006 16:38

Yeah am sure when it finally happens i will say things like 'a year that's nothing' in the whole scale of things.

Here's hoping that it doesn't take another year.

Juat got back in, Natty thats fantastic news about the appointment, was defineatly worth missing the private one then as you can put the money towards the holiday.

I hope they put things into motion for you quickly and then you'll have 2 things to look forward too!

As long as we all keep positive and don't get too stressed i'm sure it will happen for all of us.

I was naughty today and went into John Lewis to look at Baby things! DP had to drag me away!

Natty1806 · 07/07/2006 20:16

Hi Nicki

You are bad, your DP sounds like mine. However whenever we are out and see baby clothes he can't resist buying something for his to be God son.

I know i am glad that i cancelled the private appointment, someone was obviously looking down on me. Like you say hopefully things will be put into motion and i will have that and the holiday to look forward to, but the holiday will be a nice break from everything, even though it is only a week. i can't wait.

Since me and DP have been together (nearly 9 years) we have only had one holiday just the two of us rest have been with friends so it will be nice to spend some time together even though we live with each other it is different on holiday.

What day are you on mow?

Hi Natty

I am on CD9 at the moment so I've got a long way to go yet. I'm trying to be good at eating healthier as I go to the gym four times a week but I love getting take aways but I've messed up already with an Indian which is on it's way!

A holiday with just the two of you will be really nice then and will give you a reason for BDing to become romantic again!

Natty1806 · 07/07/2006 21:30

I have good weeks where i eat lots of healthy stuff then bad days.

At least you go to the gym, i only just about managed to walk my dog everyday - going to try some dvd workouts this week.

Nicki10 · 07/07/2006 21:43

I tried to do exercise at home last year but DP kept falling about laughing at me which is when I gave up and joined the gym.

I really enjoy it now though and it's a great de-stresser!

I'd like a dog, what sort of dog do you have?

bubblez · 08/07/2006 00:07

Hiya just dropping in to see how everyone is doing!

Xavielli - Thanks, I hope so too. I can't explain it but I just feel as though something will be missing if I don't have another baby. That seems so greedy when writen down.

Hello MrsMCJnr - All the best to you I hope you get your BFP soon

Natty - I've been following your story on both this and the July thread. It's great that you have an apt so soon. Good luck I hope it goes well.

bubblez · 08/07/2006 00:11

BTW Nicki and Natty you too are soo good to be exercising... I am soo rubish I wanted to loose at least a stone before I fall pgnant again, but I'm just too lazy to exercise and love my food way too much..

Xavielli · 08/07/2006 07:40

It does seem kinda greedy.. esp on this thread, but hey, I have 2 and I want more! (BTW, that wasnt meant to sound bitchy in anyway)

I doubt very much once all the ladies on this thread have a baby that they won't want another one!

Natty1806 · 08/07/2006 09:07

Nicki - i used to go to the gym a few years ago and went for about a year but then got bored, yes whenever i have an attempt at home exercise my DP laughs at me
We have a dog called Jack he is a manchester terrier and looks like a mini doberman. He is so loving towards me but is very protective, he had a fight with a rotweiler (sp?) the other morning. he don't take sh~t from no one. But honestly he is lovely, at the moment he sleeps in bed with me and DP but am going to try and train him to sleep outside the bedroom in his bed for when the little when eventually arrives.

Bubblez - thanks for wishing me well, are you Pg at mo? If not when not pop over to the twiglet in 100 days thread it is kinda like a dieting club for ttc's.

Xavielli - looked at you kids on the other thread, they are lovely bet you are a very proud mum.

Nicki10 · 08/07/2006 10:45

Don't worry Bubblez I'm really not that good I do go to the gym but because I enjoy it but we do regularly have 3 take aways a week or eat out, I think we probably only cook once and week for ourselves! Very Bad!

This will have to change when our little one arrives (have to fall PG first!) we won't be able to do that.

I'd love a dog Natty but DP says we are not having both so I obviously went for the baby option and am working on him for the dog!

What is everyone up to this weekend? I am currently at work please cheer me up by letting me know the nice things you are doing

aprilmeadow · 09/07/2006 19:44

Hello, is it ok if i join in...
Stats:
Me: 25
DH: 27
DS:14mths

We decided 3weeks ago that we would start trying for no.2. We fell pg with ds on first attempt (5weeks after getting married), but know that just because it happened first time that it might not be that easy 2nd time around. I am quite lucky that after having ds my AF's returned back into a 28 day cycle. We have kind of decided to leave it fate and perhaps if nothing happens after 6mths then we might try a more structured bd'ing routine

Natty - my ds has the same name as your doggy

Daft question, but when you say 'CD9' when is that calculated from? Always wondered but never asked.

Natty1806 · 09/07/2006 19:57

CD 1 would be the first day of your period and then you just continue counting. HTH

i was 25 when startet ttc with dd, it took a full year and i found out i was expecting the weekend after i booked ferrtility tests at docs!!!

dont know wether he was more happy i was up the duff or that he didnt have to squirt into a teeny bottle!

we'd just moved house too so that had stopped me stressing about ttc and you know what they say..new house...

yeah just move thatll sort you out

aprilmeadow · 09/07/2006 20:17

thank you - knew it would be a simple thing

EvesMama · 09/07/2006 20:21

GrinWink

bubblez · 10/07/2006 11:43

LOL - dont wory Xavielli I didn't read it as bitchy

Heya Natty - No I'm not pgnant (still trying to convince dp to have no2) but I do want to fall pgnant in the next few months. If I dont fall by oct I will have to give up (personal reasons) or if dp point blank refuses. Which BTW he hasn't he is just leaving me in limbo.

Finished AF three days ago and am on CD7 so have a few precious days before OV to talk dp round.

I have been hanging around, reading the Twiglet thread, but it takes me a while to pluck up the courage to post on any thread. And as dp is undecided I don't want to post on too many pre-conception threads just in case he trashes my plans.

bubblez · 10/07/2006 14:12

How are everyone else getting on then??

Natty1806 · 10/07/2006 14:33

Nicki10 · 10/07/2006 19:40

Hi Everyone

I am on CD12 so it's all go on the BDing front, I've got terrible cramps and pulling sensations in my lower stomach so i'm hoping this is just me OVing.

How is the persuading going Bubblez? Is it your appointment tomorrow Natty?

Natty1806 · 10/07/2006 19:42

No appointment is not until 31st. Have fun bding at least it is not that hot yet.

OP posts:
Nicki10 · 10/07/2006 19:44

Yeah thats a bonus but I've just eaten to much and I am now rolling around the house complaining! So that will make it interesting

aprilmeadow · 10/07/2006 19:50

Hi,

Well it's all go on the baby making front . DH has almost managed to get over his fear of trying for another baby. He gets quite worried after bd'ing, so we have to not mention what the outcome could be.. Last night was our anniversary (not wedding, but 'since we got together') 7yrs, so quite a good way to celebrate. Just worked out that i am CD13, so i guess its the right time and i have to just wait it out for 2weeks and see if AF arrives.

MrsMcJnr · 11/07/2006 11:16

Hello all, sorry I have been away a few days, home computer is on the blink and have been out of the office!

I really admire all your exercise efforts. I am useless, even before my wedding I was useless and put on 5 pounds the week before! After our honeymoon, I now have 2 stone to lose rather than the 1 to be the weight I would like to be again (9 stone 12). DH could do with losing a bit too, not from an appearance perspective, I think he's gorgeous (I would) but from a health one.

We need to cut down on the booze too but I guess we are only 3 weeks into even thinking about babies (me much more than him!)

How are you all?
