Hi

Just thought as there was a thread for the older mums (there words not mine)Smile
that i would start one for the younger ones.

Think AF is on her way (fingers crossed) as i normally have 48-70 cycles this will be my first one at 34/35 days - yippee.

It probably won't happen now, anyway feel free to write away.

TTC 11 month - waiting for appoinment at fertlity clinic.

Hello everyone,

OMG I have been at a complete loss without my mumsnet for the past few days, I feel like so much has gone on in my absence and I have to play catch up. (PC went down)

Oh and I have borrowed my dads laptop (in desperation) and really am not use to the keyboard so sorry in advance for any typing errors.

How is everyone? How are the TTCers getting on??

DP still hasn't said that he wants another baby but has started BDing without protection knowing full well (cos I told him) that I have been at my most fertile. Guess there is no need for him to say then hey!

CD18 now so I think that I'm going to have to just play the waiting game untill the 1sgt august. How is everyone else getting on?

bubblez · 20/07/2006 19:42

Oh BTW I agree with Xavielli, picknmix - they are hard work, they are a blessing and it doesnt matter what day or age it is no one is ever ready hun. There are always people who want to help and buy things and babies really don't cost as much as people say. Good luck with what every you decide.

bubblez · 21/07/2006 09:57

How is everyone on this thread getting on then??

Xavielli · 21/07/2006 10:02

Hey Bubblez! It's good to see you again!
It's great that DP is agreeing to humping without pretection (pill... not knives! lol) Will look forward to your BFP

Natty... hows the tummy? did you take a test?

bubblez · 21/07/2006 10:22

Hiya Xavielli - How are you? I'm also very pleased with the unprotected BDing although I must say that it has been very tiresome to have sex in this weather (but at the same time enjoyable).

I don't know which TTC thread I should join though as I test on the 1st of August if AF doesn't arrive. So do I go to the July and be a late joiner or the August thread. It seems that all the July TTCers have hopped over to the August thread already.

I'm not very confident that I will have a BFP as it is only the first month and I don't really have any symptoms as yet (with dd I had symptoms from moment of conception). But heres to hoping

Natty1806 · 21/07/2006 11:14

HI

Tummy still feels huge but am sure it is just me getting fat, i know i am not preg so am going to save me test that i have at home.

Only 11 days until my appointment at fert clinic so looking forward to that in a weird way (but also scared they might not do anything and say leave it another 6 months / year) oh well will find out soon enough.

Good luck to everyone else on this thread, anyone testing soon??

Nicki10 · 21/07/2006 12:08

Well i'm due my AF next wedesday but I'm sure it will come but i'm still so tempted to test and I want to test now i'm currently on CD23!

bubblez · 21/07/2006 12:34

Im due mine next sunday if I have a 28 day cycle this month(they vary between 28-30 days) but I'm going to give it until the 1st of august then I'll test.

So it's just the boring part now... fingers crossed for you nicki.

Like I said I dont think that I am pregnant though as I don't have any funny feelings and with dd I felt different straight away.

bubblez · 21/07/2006 12:34

Well almost straight away....

Oh Good luck Natty for the 31st.

Natty1806 · 21/07/2006 13:18

Fingers crossed for you two.

Hi, OMG its toooo hot!!

Cant get onto MN at work for some reason so have to try and kick dh off at home pc to log on!!

Currently on CD24 (28 day cycle) and although we bd over my most fertile time i am not sure that i will get a bfp. I didnt feel pg with ds until about week 6 when ms kicked in! Have bought a few 'early' test pg tests from ebay, but when i tested (i know too damn impatient)it was of course bfn. Got 2 more and a First Response one as well.

Going to the beach tomorrow whilst dh goes to the farnborough airshow. Think ds and i will melt!!

Good to all the other ladies getting close to testing and also to those waiting for the lovely af to arrive.

bubblez · 22/07/2006 08:42

Well fingers crossed for you then Aprilmeadow we need a BFP on this thread...

When I first tested (when I was pregnant with dd) I got a negative result then about 4days later I tested positive....You must let us know as soon as you test again.

AnelaSunshine · 24/07/2006 08:43

Hello
I'm quite new here, have been lurking a bit and not sure that I'm TTC yet. Please let me know if I'm on the wrong thread!

Picknmix inspired me to post.
I'm nearly 29 and DH is 31 and we've been married for 3.5 years. We both want children. But we don't know how long it will take and since we've got loads of friends and family with young kids we know what a big step it is so we are slightly reluctant to start.

Scary stuff. Any wise words from anyone who's been in my position?

Tia

Xavielli · 24/07/2006 09:05

Hi AnelaSunshine!

Welcome to the thread! I hope you don't find this rude but pregnancy will be easier on you and your baby if you start TTC now/really soon as things can get a bit tougher when you hit 30.

Like I said to PicknMix, you really can't envisage what it will be like to have a baby until you do it!

If I can cope and enjoy it anyone can!

Good luck in whatever you decide!

Natty1806 · 24/07/2006 09:31

i agree, whilst there are loads of women out there who don't have problems in there 30's or 40's. i am 24 and having problems and thank god that i have starting the ball rolling now rather than in 10 years time as i think it would be more stressful as time is against you so to speak.

However if you are not ready then you shouldn't just to it cause you feel you have to, everyone is different.

Hope that made sense.

AnelaSunshine · 24/07/2006 10:43

Yes Xavielli and I don't think you're rude at all. I'm very conscious that at 28, I'm no spring chicken so we will have to see how the summer goes...
Thanks for the kind words and I will post a bit more often to see how we're all doing.

Xavielli · 25/07/2006 09:33

Congratulations Nicki

BTW - it is normal to feel alsorts of pulling sensations, even right from the start of pg,when you sneeze/cough! lol

Nicki10 · 25/07/2006 10:38

Tnhank you, Well i'm going to do another test tonight and one tomorrow and I will let you know. Althogh I don't know if I will manage to not go to the loo for 5 hours as I need it all the time at the moment!

bubblez · 25/07/2006 10:42

Congratulations again Nicki

I think this makes you the first BFP on this thread, wooooohoooo for you!!

Xavielli · 25/07/2006 12:27

Beccy1974 · 25/07/2006 13:40

Xavielli · 25/07/2006 14:01

All through the day. I used to have to get up for a 3am pee too! lol

Beccy1974 · 25/07/2006 14:02

had to get up 3 times last night .. not quite so bad today, but still been about 3 times and i often have to remind myself to go at lunchtime as i get quite busy and forget to leave my desk.

oh well, i prob just drunk too much (non alcohol drinks i mean!)

Nicki10 · 25/07/2006 17:05
