Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Happy shagging shaggers!

Ah, thanks for the help re late icing, I'll look into taking b6 Smile

lil1ady · 29/08/2013 09:10

I was getting ready for work this morning and when I looked on the mirror it broke a dream I had where I had really massive bushy eyebrows. i don't btw

ZingWantsCake · 29/08/2013 10:03

lil I know it is funny now. but it was horrible then.
not so much the ugliness, but the thought of not wanting my own childSad
(however horrible or nasty or ugly...)
and for the rest of the pg I was worried if it meant that something bad might happen.

I love talking about dreams.
and I love the bushy eyebrows! Grin

EssieSaysRelax · 29/08/2013 11:04

I have a recurring dream where DH is really angry with me and I don't know why and I'm worried I've done something terrible. DH is never angry, he is the mildest mannered person I know, and whenever I wake up from the dream and realise its not true the relief is immense. I think its because of my Dad, who is a total ogre with a terrible temper, who used to fly off the handle at the silliest things and terrified me when I was younger, I haven't seen him for years and he and DH have never met. When I do get up the duff I don't know whether to tell Dad or not (he doesn't have any Grandkids at the moment so it'd be his first), so I'm sure whilst I agonise over when the time comes that I'll have some more weird dreams!

Can't remember who it was up fred who said they luuuurve cheese, but me to! I think I probably eat way too much of it. Not sure it gives me mad dreams though.

Anyone peeing on anything soon?

lil1ady · 29/08/2013 13:23

fifi669 · 29/08/2013 13:33

lil I got in an almighty shit with DP because he slept with Mercedes from Hollyoaks in my dream.... Poor man didn't know what was happening. I couldn't help it though, it felt so real!

Bearfacedchic · 29/08/2013 14:08

Maybe that was what MIL meant. Oh well, you get the general idea! Grin Yours is more specific though.

Hooya · 29/08/2013 14:14

Hello! Sneaking in to say hello to all the JSers! I am going to be meeting my baby in a couple of weeks and have been reminiscing about the JSing days! I know it's so frustrating waiting for the BFPs... you are all so funny and lovely, have really enjoyed reading this! Hope that doesn't sound stupid...

Oh and I can't resist giving my EWCM commentary! I don't think I ever had any! And I had no symptoms until about 6 weeks! And I love cheese dreams.

EssieSaysRelax · 29/08/2013 14:30

I just had a cheese toastie for lunch! Put too much cheese in and it was oozing out the sides. MMmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Hi there hooya, nice sure we've met as I think I joined after you'd graduated. Thank you for coming back to visit. Good to know the no symptoms thing does happen and isn't a myth! Come back and tell us once baby has arrived!

OP posts:
lil1ady · 29/08/2013 19:15

hi hooya no point shaking with terror now, there's no going back after that bfp! hope everything goes perfectly for you.

we are an amusing bunch aren't we!

Essie I'm very jealous of the cheese toasty!

Bearfacedchic · 29/08/2013 19:31

Hey Hooya! Nice to hear from you. It feels like do ages ago we were in the thread together. Hope it goes swimmingly for you. Grin Do you know if it's a boy or girl Hooya? Exciting! Glad we keep you amused too!

Boo to the bad, scary dreams. Yay to the funny, quirky, bizarre dreams.

So I definitely ov'd yesterday. C'mon Mario, my son!

pizzaqueen · 29/08/2013 19:42

I can rarely remember my dreams. I have woken up really angry with dp after he cheated on me in a dream.

I remembered something today that's been on my mind all day now. After my miscarriage I was scanned to make sure everything was gone and they found a cyst in my uterus. They told me it was really common, nothing to worry about (as it was under 7cm) and it will probably go away by itself. Thought nothing of it at the time too preoccupied with losing my baby but I read today that cysts in the can affect fertility basically by blocking access the tubes or blocking cervix. I'm worried this is going to cause us problems conceiving or what if it gets bigger and I don't know Sad . It can stop pg dveloping properly too. Anyone no anything about cysts in the uterus?

I don't think my gp will take me seriously because he's an insensitive arse because it's only my second cycle since mc.

Curly86 · 29/08/2013 22:48

I also love cheese and we must have pretty big mice in our house cause sometimes there are teeth marks in the block of cheddar like someone got hungry when they got up to pee and nibbled woops!

I am CD14 and have used no contraband woooo! Have some wetness and a sore back which is usual signs icing will be imminent which is cool cause that's means I'm hopefully on for a shorted cycle again this month! Have dipped my toes in the pity pool last 2 days SIL went for 2 week scan and its TWINS! She already has 3 DS's how greedy of her! Is it nearly synchro pee time we need some BFPs :-)

Curly86 · 29/08/2013 22:49

Should say 12 week scan fat fingers from huge bar of chocolate

fifi669 · 29/08/2013 23:14

LOTS of AF symptoms but not here yet.... due tomorrow. May waste a hpt and POAS tomorrow as planned if she's not here in the morning

lil1ady · 29/08/2013 23:27

Get shagging curly try to focus Ur energy on that rather than sil. not easy though.

good luck Fifi

Bearfacedchic · 30/08/2013 00:09

Pizza- you could go and get it checked out if you're concerned. If you don't think your GP will refer you, then try a different doctor who might be more sympathetic and/ or willing to investigate.

Bearfacedchic · 30/08/2013 00:09

Cape on Curly!

fifi669 · 30/08/2013 00:37

Anyone else had problems logging on with their phone today? It seems ok on the laptop but my phone says nooooooo

ZingWantsCake · 30/08/2013 00:46

pizza
I hope you are wrong and it's nothing, but so many times we (or our bodies) have an inkling of what's wrong or what the solution is.

I'm allergic to kiwis. the first time I ate one (I was 16) I was fine, but the second time, about 3 months later I had a bite and my mouth, lips , tongue and throat started to itch and swell.
I hadn't heard or known much abot allergic reactions, so I panicked because I didn't know what to do.

I drank some water which didn't help and kept on thinking what I should do when the word "pectin" popped into my mind.
so I ate some jam and immediately I started to feel better.
weird enough? my body or my brain somehow knew what I needed to do!

so talk to gp and get a scan booked and done.
I hope it's nothing.

Thanks
EssieSaysRelax · 30/08/2013 14:22

Hi folks.

Pizza - definitely go and see a GP, preferably a different one to your usual one if you are not happy - can you change GPs if he is a knobhead you don't like him? I just changed my NHS dentist (don't know changing GP is as simple though but might be?!) because mine was a perv, I put up with him for about 3 years then I couldn't put up with it anymore and asked to see someone else cos I didn't like him and the receptionist just said yep, no problem, I'll change you to blah-de-blah. Yay! Definitely don't be stressing about it when you can go and get checked out. I know nothing about cysts in the uterus but quite a lot about fibroids as my Mum had them and she managed to get upduff 5 times and 3 of those times resulted in me and my siblings.

What's everyone doing this weekend? I'm off next week - I can't wait! Going away for a few days at the end of the week but mainly just sorting out crap at home from when we moved in April as we still haven't unpacked.

I think I might have turned a bit of a JSing/TTCing corner. I feel a bit calmer about it all this week. I really can't be arsed with contraband, I've run out and I'm not getting anymore. Not sure how long this calm will last, I'll probably be a total wreck in a week or so, but I'm going to try really hard to stay true to the JSing cause cos contrabanding was doing my head in.

How awful is all this stuff in Syria. I just can't get my head around it. All those poor people. It's savage. Sad

thanks essie you have given me the kick up the butt I needed to get the forms tp change GP this afternoon. Been meaning to do it for months.

We've got a pretty quiet weekend. Weekly food shop yawn!! And a third birthday party at a softplay centre on Sunday. Going on holiday next Friday and working all week so trying to get organised for that too.

Bearfacedchic · 30/08/2013 21:24

Okay, dream update. This might make you laugh. I dreamt last night that my lady garden grew to previously unseen lengths- it was mid-way down my thighs!!! And I was in the gym changing rooms when I and everyone else noticed!!! Grin

Got my blood test tomorrow. Not much rlse going on over weekend. Bit of gym with appropriate length pubic hair this time , bit of pub, bit of cafe kultur, etc.

Agree that the Suria sit is awful. Poor people.
