Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Happy shagging shaggers!

minion I have no idea about the cm maybe bfp on its way? maybe travelling messed with your cycle?

still waiting to get my cape on cd9.

EssieSaysRelax · 21/08/2013 16:25

I've got some crampy feelings, which is quite unusual. Sort of like ov type pain, but for a while it was on the right, then moved to the left, then back to the right side. CD24. Hooya me please.

Teeny hooyas for Essie and Minion. Min- sobbed promising but guess you just don't know until the old HPT. Got everything crossed for you though.

Love the idea of 'false hop' Fifi Grin

Bearfacedchic · 21/08/2013 18:16

Sounds not bloody sobbed! Sheesh!

fifi669 · 21/08/2013 19:04

I think we all do a false hop.... Stumbling ready for jumping for joy perhaps before unfortunate BFN?

GaryBuseysTeeth · 21/08/2013 20:05

for Zing and her wonderful Unicorn parade!

Urm, I don't know how to say this, but I may come back here. We're discussing DC3 & it's gone from being 'No, never ever EVER you crazy cow' to 'Well, maybe..it would be nice'. Grin
I should probably mention that DS2 is 3wks old & was a product of this fred (took 9 months, and an mc, to get upduffed with him so coming back here now will probably be about right timing wise).

for fifi & Essie!

False hop sounds like a snazzy dance all those young people would do at the discothèque!

ZingWantsCake · 21/08/2013 20:58

GaryBuseysTeeth

why thank you! Wink
congrats on miniteeth! we have gone from DH saying "no fucking way" to "if you want it so much I'm ok with it"!Grin

Curly86 · 21/08/2013 21:51

My cape has been firmly attached with extra ribbons and bells its CD6 AF has FO! OH has returned from working away and I'm going to stand by not using any contraband this month! I have out all OPKs wee pots thermometers etc in a box in the downstairs cupboard! And have left 1 HPT in the bathroom with a sticky label that says CD40 I've also decided not to talk to OH this month about having a baby and to play it down and try to convince my self I don't want to be pregnant, am hoping that as my body clearly hates me the reverse psychology method may actually work!

Redshoes56 · 21/08/2013 21:53

It's so nice to hear from you, gary! Congratulations on the little one. Come back and hang out with us. I can't believe it's been nine months since you got that great news.....

ZingWantsCake · 21/08/2013 22:17

curly

good plan! Wink

BroodyTroody · 21/08/2013 22:27

You know a little about me but I don't know anything about anyone else!

Please do tell me about yourselves!

fifi669 · 21/08/2013 22:52

I'm TTC#2 have DS 05/12/10, DP has DD so hopefully they'll be no medical issues (have looked up secondary infertility).

5th cycle? BFP due end of the month...

lil1ady · 21/08/2013 23:07

Hello everyone

broody I'm TTC #1, this is 8th cycle 10months as coming off pill majorly screwed me up at the beginning

curly I admire you! if you hold out til cd40 to poas I will be Shock and u will deserve a bfp! I've been thinking if we don't get a bfp this cycle I'm going back to simple js rules. in honour I will make next months cape plain red Grin

congrats on Ur lo Gary. Its good to see the first three weeks haven't put you off trying again!

I should really turn the light out and go sleep but I'm hungry from all the shagging so off to smile sweetly at dh and see if he'll fetch me some food from downstairs!

Bearfacedchic · 21/08/2013 23:45

Gary!!! Hellooo! Congrats too. Did you have a girl Gary of a boy Gary? Did it all go okay? I'm presuming do otherwise you probably wouldn't be so keen so soon. Grin Like Red I can't believe you've gone full circle! Welcome back.

Trood- I'm Bear Bear (it hasn't got boring yet!) Been Ttc for 24 cycles. This is #25. Yawn. Going through the early stages of investigations ATM. Not sure if there's anything wrong with me probably is though and DH has low everything on his sperm.

Right- having a right old freak out as just sitting in my mother's house and a mouse appeared!!!! I hate them and I'm really scared now. Just rang DH and he says I need to block up all the potential holes to my room. I won't be able to sleep now. I know everyone thinks I'm a baby but I'm really freaked out! HELP!

Bearfacedchic · 22/08/2013 01:01

Okay shaggers; I need your help. My mum lives in a terrible area full of drug dealers and I'm terrified she'll be mugged or worse one day. It's also not a nice place to walk around or anything. I drive everywhere when I'm here. Plus she keeps getting mice which absolutely freaks me out. I wish she'd move but she point blank refuses to and I don't want to stay with her anymore because I barely sleep when I'm here. She'd be so offended if I didn't though. I just don't want to spend half my time in fear and I live too far away to do a day trip. Plus hotels are expensive hereabouts. Any advice anyone? I know I should probably reserve this for other chat but you folks are really good with your advice ANC I figured you wouldn't mind. Also, I trust your opinions.

Bearfacedchic · 22/08/2013 01:02

ANC(?) = and

ZingWantsCake · 22/08/2013 01:25

bear

I am an argumentative person and don't mind confrontation so based on my unpleasant personality my advice is to not visit if you don't feel safe.

her refusal to move is her choice so if she wants to stay there's little precious you can do about it.

maybe she could visit you, or you can explain again why you feel unsafe and she might be prepared to reconsider, but otherwise it's check mate I'm afraid.

I heard recently that in case of a disagreement do what you want to do, that way at least one person will be happy!Wink

(disclaimer : as I'm Hungarian I'm not obliged to be polite Grin and so I'm honest, if a bit blunt)

hth

lil1ady · 22/08/2013 08:00

bear Bear i'm not Hungarian but I am equally as happy to face confrontation so I'm with Zing don't go again. I do think its worth talking about it again and explaining that you won't be staying again and your reasons. perhaps if she sees that you feel strongly enough not to stay she will reconsider. probably not straight away but will get her thinking. do you have any siblings you can get on side? Thanks Thanks

fifi669 · 22/08/2013 08:27

Don't stay there again and if she's a bit skint offer to pay travel costs to yours as a sweetener

Curly86 · 22/08/2013 08:48

bear I know how you feel about the mice, we had the new catsitter pop in lastnight to give her keys etc for while we are away, as I was explaining how well behaved they are complete lie should have just told the truth! Horris the man of the cats brought in a mouse and spat it across the living room!

If you don't feel safe then don't go especially as a BFP could be round the corner!
trood I'm TTC No1 came off pill November last yr no period until jan of this year then on 50 day cycles, this month down to 40 so this is cycle 5 for us very fraustrating having such a long cycle as only 6 or 7 opportunities in 12 months to get upduffed but hoping it was just the pill and things to be on the up

EssieSaysRelax · 22/08/2013 09:06

Bear, I am a total confrontation avoider (except at work - that doesn't cound, I don't need to be friends with them), but it sounds like its bothering you pretty bad, and yes, as a BFP is on the horizon, you do need to try and tackle it now cos imagine staying there with baby bear? How would your Mum react if you explained how you felt about it and how you didn't sleep etc? Would she just think you were being weedy? I don't think you are btw. I'd hate it too and whilst I don't mind mice I do NOT want to share my bedroom with them! Bleurgh.

Trood, I'm ttc1, cycle 9 I think? Lost the will count. Have approx 33 day cycles though it took a good few months to settle down after the pill.

Gary! Hi! Lovely to see you and congrats on babyGary.

The cramps I had got worse and last night I felt shite, but this morning I feel find and cramps all gone. Think maybe it was more to do with not having eaten enough yesterday than anything. Feel good today.

Anyone got nice plans for BH weekend? x

Just popping in to say hello!

bear if you don't feel safe, you have to tell your Mum. I know it's hard, but your instincts are your instincts and safety is something you have to take seriously. Also, the mice thing - grim. I'm not afraid of mice, but I am of spiders and I don't visit my mum's (countryside, ivy-covered) house in Sept if I can avoid it, as I spend the whole time on edge, so I get where you're coming from.

GBT I love that you want DC3 already! That is dedication to the JSing cause.

So, had my 20 wk scan on Tues, all well - despite my endless worrying. Have put a pic on my profile for anyone who truly has nothing else to do today.
Hugs to you all!

Alohomora · 22/08/2013 11:37

bear I agree with the others, if you don't feel safe I would just tell her, it sounds truly uncomfortable. Maybe she doesn't realise just how strongly you feel about it, and this might push the point home.

Sorry, I haven't been around much, feeling a bit blue at the moment and stressed out at work. Working til 10 o'clock tonight and it's my weekend of Saturday work - at least we'll escape to MiL straight after to enjoy the bank holiday, so there should be several opportunities to dtd and relax.
